The Missionary's Journey - Episode 14
That night at the tree near the river bank, twelve individuals stood naked and gossiped among themselves. A man dressed in black appeared out of thin air and the rest hurriedly knelt before him.
"What is this I heard?" The man demanded.
"High Priest, Ngozi is dead, she died at the hands of the preacher. Mr Justice is also dead, he was blinded as he touched a naked wire while flying as a bird . He was burnt badly and didn’t make it. This was also the work of the preacher," a short man reported.
"What were you doing with the preacher? Did I give the signal to attack? So you disobeyed me?" The high priest screamed.
"We are sorry sir, we were losing our food source and thought we could take things into our own hands, we clearly underestimated his powers. We were utterly defeated," the grey haired woman said.
"What happened was the result of your own actions, you fools. Is the preacher that strong?" Madam Oge said he nullified a concentrated attack from Ngozi.
"He did, your highness. We heard flapping wings and Justice said he saw something and he was immediately blinded. Ngozi’s power went against her," a fat woman responded.
"Flapping wings?? Why do I keep hearing about that? Where is it coming from? Hmm it's time Ifeyinwa started working on the boy. I am sure she has gone close enough." He turned to a woman

The high priest puffed his chest up and declared with a loud voice, "The battle line has been drawn."
