Synder-Ella - Episode 36

 

Synder lay on her bed, thinking of everything that happened to her in the ppast few days and how everything just ended like that, leaving her into a state of confusion and emptiness.

Her mind drifted to when Zichat explained everything to her in the truck, what her stepsister has done by keeping her locked up before she finally escaped with Peter. She just couldn’t understand anything . Nothing made sense, even when she was told that Henry was a prince and how Peter had explained the whole kidnapping process to her and Zichat. It just didn’t make any sense.

“Are you okay?” Zichat asked. She had come to her house that morning.

“Yea, I am good.” She lied.

“So, what is your plan next?”

“What plan?” She asked.

“About Henry.”

She scoffed, “for all I care, he doesn’t exist, he lied to me.” She said, getting up.

Zichat gasped and watched as she climbed out of the bed.

. “Come on, you cannot be serious, so you are not going to do anything?”

“Do what?” She demanded angrily, “he had all the time to tell me he knew about the kidnap and he chose not to tell me or about the fact that he is a prince, or what more, he watched as we flee because his mum was going to arrest us

. For what? You know, this is just like one bad movie, I really want to let it go, please, no more talk about him. He doesn’t belong to my kind of world, he lied to me!.” She shook her head, blinking back the tears and walking to her wardrobe.

Zichat was disappointed, “you need to give him a chance Synder, what is wrong with you?”

“What chance? He used me for his own stupid entertainment. I hope he was amused, he is just like all the rest.” She opened the wardrobe, searching for something.

Zichat stood up angrily, “so after everything, you will just give up?”

Synder turned around, “give up? I’m not giving up on anything, I am just forgetting him, he used me to catch fun and...”

“No, he didn’t!” Zichat shouted, “the kidnap went wrong like Peter said, he didn’t plan it at all, he kidnapped too and he saved you from that place...”

“I don’t care!” Synder shouted. “I can’t believe I allowed myself to fall inlove with...” She stopped and shook her head. “It doesn’t matter, he is now in his world and I am now in my own world as well. Everything is back to normal.”

“No, no, I will not allow you to...” She stopped as they heard a slight knocking...

“Who is that?” Synder asked.

The girls exchanged glances on hearing Kat’s voice.

“She shouldn’t come in...” Zichat stated.

“You forgot her mom owns the house right.” Synder said before walking to the door.

As Zichat saw her, she deepened her frown and Kat could easily read the hateful look she was giving her.

“Hi Zichat.” She said quietly but Zi gave no reply. Kat walked in and faced Synder.

“I came to apologise for everything, what I did was selfish and wicked and I...”

“Oh, you think so, try stupid....” Zichat flared out but Synder hushed her up.

“I’m listening Kat.”

“yea, “ Kat continued, “I did everything to sabotage your meeting with the prince and I am sorry for everyone I hurt while doing that.”

“It’s okay, you are forgiven, anything else?”

“Urm, I talked to my mum, she decided to give you half of everything your father left for you which we took for ourselves, including your mom’s stuff.”

Synder looked surprised, “really?”

“Yea.” Kat said with a smile.

“I am  so happy to hear that. Thank you.”

“Yea, so, I hope that will make you let go of every grudges .”

“Okay, it’s fine. “ Synder replied while Zichat growled in annoyance.

“One more thing.” Kat said excitedly.
“what?”

“The prince and the queen are coming...”

Upon hearing this, Synder’s heart missed a beat while Zichat was now paying a full attention.

“They are coming for what?” Synder asked.

“For me.” Kat said with a smile, looking at Zichat satisfactorily.

“For you? Why you?” Zi demanded.

“Well, I don’t know, I guess the queen was impressed with my effort in finding the prince, I was afterall the one who led her to you.” She said with a smile. “I just said to come tell you  that everything went perfectly Synder, I won the prince.” She chuckled before leaving the room while Synder and her friend were left in a state of shock.
