Pierced Rose - Episode 39

 

She maybe had no idea of what love was and maybe she would never know. But something that's for sure is that there are some smiles that you always love to see, some hands you never wanna let go. And when some ignore you or let you go it breaks you inside leaving a piercing pain.

When Reginah got to the house, she was relieved. The only place hurt was his forehead . A second look on herself, she just laughed.

Love can make you do crazy things, I tell you.
When she saw Brad on that hospital bed, it hit her that she should utilise all the time with people you love. You never know when they would be snatched from you.

Screw rules, screw threats, screw fear. She was gonna get him back, somewhere inside him he still loved that b-tch over there. His messy chocolate girl.

When Reginah opened the door, Aunty Bilu and her mother were smiling mischievously. They looked as happy as a clam at a high tide.

"Hey guys, why do you look happy??? Did Aunty Bilu finally get a boyfriend??" Reginah teased and Aunty Bilu smacked her arm before getting into the house smiling..

"Mum, whats happening???"
Her mother hugged her and headed to her room to keep her luggage.
She had gone to visit Aunty Bilu for a week and it seemed she tagged her along.

"Aunty Bilu, can you guys tell me why you are so happy?? I am in a mood for some good vibes right now.."

"We will tell you soon honey." Aunty Bilu beamed cupping her face.

After minutes of impatiently waiting for her mother to finish showering, she finally showed up. For once she was glowing.

Reginah was in an interrogation room with herself in her mind of what happened during the one week she was away

"Mum, what's happening??? Are you in love??"

Diana shook her head in disapproval and sat beside her.

"Brad's father has another family and they live in Antwerp, Belgium. And it seems Brad and his siblings don't know.." Diana explained and Aunty Bilu shook in her seat excitedly.

"What??? Why is that a good thing??? I love Brad so much and he is going to be devastated when he hears about it. How can this make you happy??? How can you be happy about someone's misfortunes.." Reginah lamented, hot tears streaming down her cheeks.

She stood up to walk away but Aunty Bilu pulled her back to sit.
"Sister, are you sure she is your daughter???" Aunty Bilu raised her eyebrow.
"I am wondering the same thing.." Diana replied taking Reginah's hand in hers.

"We want to help you get Brad back and we have the perfect idea." Aunty Bilu twinkled.
"Aunty Bilu, you know if you hadn't opened your big mouth because of some little notes we won't have been here looking for solutions.."

"I know dear and that's why I did my best to find a solution for you. I know l love money more than my life but i also hate seeing my niece sad." Aunty Bilu cupped her face faking a sob.

They explained their masterplan to Reginah and indeed it was a good one. She could feel it was beginning of something new..

"I hope this works and maybe I would consider forgiving you Aunty Bilu for being greedy." Those were the last words Reginah said before she went to execute her plan..

She needed a back up plan so she tagged Maggie along.
During the drive to Brad's home, Reginah explained everything to Maggie and she couldn't believe what she heard.

Muigai's family always acted up like perfection. Truly never trust what you see..

They got to the gate and the security guards begun their endless interrogations..
"Tell you boss, Reginah wanna see her.." Reginah thundered after minutes of useless questions.
"She said you can go in.." One of the guards humbled up and acted civil all over sudden.

"What are you doing here??? I thought I made it clear..". Was that how Kara welcomed her guests..

"Does Antwerp, Belgium ring a bell???" Reginah asked boldly...
"What will you have guys??? Anything to drink??" Kara stuttered.
"We had drunk and eaten from where we are. Should we go to your office or do you want your helps to hear what I wanna say??" Reginah huffed while Maggie stood beside her with her arms crossed and her eyes locked on Kara...

"Please, let's talk in my office.." Kara whispered.

When they got in the office, they both chose to stand as Kara sat down.
"Maggie, I can't believe you are taking part in this madness.." Kara stated sipping her whisky.
"I am here as a friend and with all due respect you should cooperate."

"So what do you girls want???"
"We need to make a deal or else Brad will know everything.." Reginah threatened, her arms crossed.

"Please, don't tell Brad. He would get hurt. My kids shouldn't know about their father having another family.." Kara sobbed, tears balancing on her eyes while she walked towards Reginah..

"Don't be hysterical. You remember I pleaded and you didn't give me a chance. Now it is my turn. Are you ready to have a deal or should Brad know??" Reginah barked. She took out her phone and showed Kara Brad's number.

"Okay.." Kara murmured getting back to the seat.
"I want you to stop threatening me, you should stop having me followed. I want you to stop interfering with my relationship with Brad.
I will tell him about my past when am ready.." Words flew out of Reginah's mouth with ease than she thought.

"But what about his reputation when people fund out about your past???" Kara asked, leaning forward.
"They would say the same sh-t as when they find out the mighty Muigai has another family.. So do we have a deal???" Reginah spoke in a low tone full of rage.

Kara tapped the table irritatingly stuck in a dilemma.

. It seemed like Reginah had beat her in her own game.

"Dear mother-in-law do you need a hug??? You are sweating???" Reginah poked placing her hand around Kara's shoulder. 
"We have a deal," She murmured.
"Good choice dear, I knew you are smart. You let me and Brad date In peace and your secret is safe with me. Stab me on the back and I will have all the media houses know of the mighty Muigai. I got nothing to lose.." Reginah whispered to her ear, it was like she snarled more than she spoke.

"Okay, Reginah." Kara sounded like she was choking..
"My work here is done, Maggie dear let's go.." Reginah placed a kiss on Kara's left cheek and walked to where Maggie was standing.

"Are you ready to help me get my man back???"
Maggie nodded and they high-fived walking out victoriously.

Indeed Aunty Bilu plan worked. All she had to do is take control of the situation. Now all she had to do was come up with a plan to get Brad back.

Kara was at a loss of words. She thought she was the masterplan but it seemed Reginah was the real masterplan. She pinned her down and pushed her to her knees where she had no choice but to do what she wanted..

She had to be careful because Reginah to be more dangerous than she thought. She needed to come up with another plan which wouldn't affect her kids. But for now she had to obey the master.. She had to go through this because of her shameless husband, may wahala get him.
