The night was unbearable for Brad. He tried so hard to get some sleep but Reginah's face kept ransacking his thoughts. Was she okay?? How was her head injury??

He regretted not helping her out as soon as they got into the house. He tried to collect a wholesome of courage to call her but nothing whereas Reginah waited for his call all night long. She wanted him to prove to her that he cared but it seemed Reginah was fooling herself.

Brad woke up to a burnt smell only to run to the kitchen and find hell of a mess.

"Isabelle, what are you doing???" Brad thundered turning the gas cooker off, "What if you got burnt??"

"I just wanted to make you pancakes, they are your favourite." Isabelle murmured playing with her fingers.

"But you cant even cook, look how this place is a mess." Brad rubbed his forehead looking around the messy kitchen.

"I just wanted to make you happy." She begun sobbing.

"Riri says you should always keep the kitchen clean, what if she walks in and finds it like this?? She would get mad . I don't want her to scold me. She loves an organised house." Brad said running around the kitchen trying to clean it.

"Brad, Reginah is not coming. She dumped you, remember??" Isabelle held him by the shoulders.

Brad felt like he was a sad song turned on, he really missed his baby

. How was he to eat black smelly kind of looking pancakes. If she was there, she could have prepared him some delicious pancakes. He could have been woken up with sweet aroma and a kiss not a burnt smell that made him wanna throw up. 

"Go have a bath, i will clean this mess." Brad whispered.

He was almost done cleaning the kitchen when he received a message from Jayson that Carlos had arrived. Carlos was their friend but he hanged out mostly with Jayson. They always together in Italy. He had come to visit for a fortnight to get a break from running their multi millionaire company.

It was time to kill two birds with one stone. Ask about Reginah and say hello to Carlos.

"Brad, where are you going??" Isabelle asked the moving in a hurry Brad.

"I need to be somewhere."

"But we were...."

"Order something, i will be back soon." Brad said before dashing out of the house. Isabelle was left wondering was what so important than spending time with her. The thought of going to see Reginah made her inside churn with anger as she clenched her jaws. 

"Hey buddy," Brad beamed greeting Carlos.

"Hey there dude, you look sick. Are you okay??"

"I was dumped," He slumped on the sofa.

"What happened...." Carlos was cut off by Jayson who joined them with cans of beers on his hands.

"How is Reginah??"

"She is okay. But yesterday you were so immature.How did you expect Malcolm and Mike to get home??" Jayson sneered.

"I don't want anything to do with Reginah. That's why i left. She is no longer man."

"Stop acting up like an excuse of a man. If you could only see the pain in her eyes when you drove away. Yesterday you really acted childish."

"Enough guys, can we at least have some drinks in peace." Carlos butted in after realizing those two were not ready to stop whatever they were arguing about. 

"So Jay did you manage to get your girl back????" Carlos asked innocently and Jayson begun to stutter.

"I don't understand. Jayson has a girlfriend??" Brad couldn't understand what Carlos was talking about, he had never seen Jayson in a serious relationship since he got back. He always had a different girl warm his bed every weekend.

Jayson could feel a cold sweat run down his back. He forgot to give Carlos a thumbs up about his girl dating Brad and now he was in the edge of blowing everything up. Brad was about to find out the truth in the worst way ever.

"Guys, are you hungry??? We can go grab some breakfast." Jayson suggested to divert the topic but he was out of luck. 

"We can order in as you tell me more about your girlfriend that i have never seen." Brad beamed not knowing what hit him. 

"That's a good idea. Brad gets to tell me about the girl who had the guts to dump him whereas you tell us about your lost love."Carlos seconded Brads suggestion and Jayson nodded shivering.

"So Jayson, tell me about this girlfriend of yours. Do I know her?" Brad was being insisting. Jayson could feel his nerves doing somersaults.

"Its a boring story, why don't you tell Carlos about your girl??"Jayson begun regretting why he opened his big mouth and told Brad about Carlos arrival.

"Mine is for later and you know everything, i wanna know about you." Brad didn't seem like he would give up.

"It seems he is shy so i will tell you." Carlos volunteered.  Jayson tried to signal him to shut up but he couldn't understand.

"Jayson, is there something wrong with your face?? Why are you making faces??" Carlos teased him.

"I guess i have a picture of her." Carlos stated reaching out for his phone. Jayson tried to grab the phone from him when he was about to show the picture to Brad but Brad beat him to it. 

When Brad saw Reginah's photo, his brain formulated no thoughts.

"But this is my girl," Brad stuttered his eyes stuck between Jayson and the photo. 

"You must be confusing things, this is Jayson's girl.." Carlos huffed snatching the phone from Brad," Jayson why are you not saying anything??"

"Brad, i can explain.." Jayson stammered walking towards Brad who was now standing.

Brad sent one straight punch to his unprotected jaw and his head whipped back. Jayson staggered back, fighting to get his air back. He looked like he could puke.

"Brad is not what you think," Jayson rubbed his cheek.
"What should I think Jayson that you are not dating my girl when the evidence is right in front of me.." Pure rage covered his face.

"We were dating before I went to Italy when I came back she was already in love with you. I pulled back Bro.."
Brad blinked at Jayson's words, he wanted to pounce on him but Carlos held him back.

"Is that why you got back to the Motorride association??? Do you still love her???"

"I used to love her until I realised you loved her. I didn't go back to the association because of her, I wanted to get back to riding.."

Brad regretted knowing Jayson soon as he saw the photo.
"Then why did you go back the same time she went back???" Brad was like a beast on rampage, he felt betrayed.

Everything was clear on why those two always looked tensed when around each other.

. They were lovers. Reginah didn't love him because she still loved Jayson.

"Because I wanna make things right with Renah. I left her when she needed me the most and I wanna fix that.." Jayson lamented.

Carlos was now confused but chose to remain silent before he was caught up in the middle. He was partially guilty because he knew it was because of his big chatter box that he created this hot mess.

"Fix things, how dare you???" Brad pushed Carlos back and walked towards Jayson, holding him by the collar.

"She dumped me because of you. She never loved me because of you. I will never forget this Jayson.." Brad raged like a bull.

"But she loves you alot. She doesn't love me...."Jayson tried telling him.
"Shut up, don't tell me sh-t.." Brad yelled, lifting his fist to punch him but holds it in the air, "Don't lie to me, you still love her and she loves you.."

Brad pushed him back and walked to the door.
"Brad, hear me out.." Jayson tried to plead but he slammed the door  and stormed out fists clenched.

"Jayson, what just happened??" Carlos confirmed his hand on Jayson's shoulder.
"You just blew up Carlos, why couldn't you shut your big mouth??" Jayson thundered. He dropped Carlos's hand from his shoulder and run to his room.

This was not the welcoming Carlos expected but he deserved it for being a douche bag.

Brad was driving at a fast speed and recklessly. His body was quivered with intense hatred and sadness. The more he thought of those two, the faster he drove. He hated them and he was never gonna forgive them.
