Pierced Rose - Episode 19

 

The beach was gentle beneath Reginah's feet, the softness on the numb sand from the retreating tide was amazing.

The light kisses from the occasional breeze sent tingling sensation through her.
The ocean was jewel-blue and the waves were ripping gently..

Reginah was glad that for a moment she got away from the hurly-burly and the stresses of life.

The beach seemed like an enchanting paradise. Every ten steps Reginah could stop to hear the laughter and screams of people playing by the beach. They all seemed happy but she wasn't. If only her mother was with her... 

Joy seemed to surround the atmosphere, she could see all kinds of people from babies held in the arms to teenagers jumping with joy...

Before the hot sand embraced all over her feet, she went to a clear area and begun building her castle...

"The castle looks beautiful," Brad commented hugging her from behind...
"Brad???" Reginah called him out in excitement and turned around to hug him.

"Someone seems happy to see me," Brad said lifting her off the sand.
"Yeah, I am happy to see you Brad.." Reginah whispered resting her forehead on his...

Brad was almost kissing her when she pulled back, "Let's make your own castle..."
"Okay.." Brad puts her down..

There was a comfortable silence between them while they built the castle," Riri, you never talk about your father. Don't you guys get along???"

Brad noticed the smile from Reginah's face had faded away and placed his hand on her..

"I don't know where he is..." Reginah stuttered and continued to build the castle.
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you..."
"It's okay, how could you know???"

"Hey, look at me. I am sorry.." Brad held her by her shoulders, "It's okay Brad, you didn't know.." Reginah forced a smile..

Her father never bothered to look for her why should she bother to even talk about him??? He doesn't even deserve the air he breathes, he was a monster...How could he have a abandoned a pregnant woman who was due???

"But if you wanna talk about it, I am a good listener..." Brad said and stood up walking towards the the ocean...

Reginah was left there hesitant. That was a very sensitive topic in her life... Since his departure that was the genesis of all the troubles in her life.

The only person she has ever shared her past with was Maggie...Now here was Brad, could she trust him???

She never wanted secrets between them, she didnt know why but Brad meant the world to her... 

"Brad!!!" She called out. Brad was busy playing his feet in the water...

"Yes???" Brad responded not looking up..
"My dad left my mother when she was eight months pregnant and since then we have never heard from him..." Reginah murmured playing with her fingers...

"Have you ever tried looking for him???"Brad asked taking her hands into his..

"No, why should I when he was the one who left????" Reginah barked blinking numerously to fight her tears...

"Come here," Brad enfolded her into a hug, "Unlike your father I will never leave you. I will always be here..."

Before Reginah could respond, he swiped her off her feet while she snaked her hands around his neck,"Let's go to the others..."

"Put me down, I can walk.." Reginah retorted but Brad ignored her..

When they arrived, everyone held a happy expression on their faces. The girls had bikinis on and the male wore only shorts showing off their firm abs. One could see girls ogling at them especially Jayson and Mike...

"Riri, are you hurt???" Maggie asked running towards them.
"Ask him,"Riri replied looking at Brad.
"I just felt like carrying her," Brad stammered averting his gaze.
"And why so?? Do you like her??" Maggie teased,her arms folded on her chest..

"Mmmmmhh......" Brad stuttered making Maggie laugh her lungs out, "I was joking Brad,  I wish you would see the look on your face it's priceless."

Brad placed Reginah on the sand, avoiding the other stares.
"Brad, you back.." Isabelle beamed hugging Brad," I  didn't get to hug you in the morning.."

"Okay.." Brad hugged her back and walked towards the boys taking off his shirt joining the firm abs association....

Damn!!! Their abs were to die for and the girls around the beach drooled over them.

The water volleyball had been set close to the shore where the sand was scorching...

"Riri, you have to remove your dress...This is bikini volleyball.." Mike retorted..
"Why does she have to remove her dress, she looks okay.. She can play like that, she doesn't have to show the world her thighs..." Brad groaned, looking gloomy..

"But we are on the beach and the other girls are on their bikinis.." Malcolm stated.
"Let's ask Riri what she wants, Riri are you comfortable???" Mike confirmed and Riri nodded removing her dress.

Brad's cheeks were flushed, he couldn't believe his thighs were out in the open for the world to see. If they were alone he would have forced the dress back on her but he didn't wanna seem dramatic..

All attention was on her from the boys around them, her curves were irresistible.

"Now, I understand what you meant Brad." Ben teased noticing the stares from the guys around.

"Come on fellas, let's play..." Reginah screamed excitedly, her hands up in the air...

Ben, Brad, Isabelle and Mike were on one side whereas Anna, Michelle, Reginah,Mary, Maggie on the other and Jayson was the referee...

After several hits and pass, Brad's team had scored three and Reginah's team zero..

Isabelle hands were all over Brad and Reginah's muscle grew tight by the sight of it.. She knew she had no right to feel like that but she couldn't control it. She wanted only her hands on Brad's body..

Reginah was too focused on them that Mike threw the ball and it hit her right on the face causing her to stagger...

"Are you okay???" Brad asked while they all ran to her..
"I am good," Reginah assured rubbing her forehead..
"I am sorry, I didn't mean to.." Mike stated, checking if she was okay.
"I am okay.." Reginah retorted..

"I know how to make it up, jump on my back.." Mike bossed and Reginah adhered to.
Mike  ran towards the water with her and Reginah screamed with excitement.

Brad was agitated, restlessly.. He was choking on his jealousy, his hands formed into  fists.

"Brad, carry me too.." Isabelle said, shaking Brad.
"Not now Belle.."

Reginah seemed to enjoy all of it as Mike walked her deeper into the water.
When they came back to the shore, Brad walked towards them, "Put her down, what will people think???" Brad let out a scorn filled laughter..
"Plus you two look weird, right guys???"

Everyone shook their heads in disapproval.
"They look good together and what did you think people would say when Reginah was in your arms earlier??? Is it not the same???" Malcolm stated leaving Brad speechless..

"But this is different. Riri is literally naked. He is carrying her wearing only undies. It like a foreplay.." Brad retorted making them laugh..

"Foreplay??? Can you hear yourself, if we didn't know you we would think Riri is your girl..Mike put her down before Brad cries." Mary poked.

"Don't put me down, I want him to carry me for a little longer.." Reginah stated, resting her head on his back, "I love it here.."

"Okay, you heard the girl. Can we continue playing???" Maggie asked Brad who shrugged and walked to the water...

The others also stopped playing  ran into the water and begun throwing water on each other, Reginah still on Mike's back...
