Overcomer - Episode 19

 

Omotola's POV.

On Monday morning, I was summoned by the disciplinary committee. Omotola Benson, Dr Sarah said, yes ma'am, we don't want to waste so much time on this issue, so I will like you to be honest with us. She said. 

Ok ma, are you a l*sbian asked, No ma, i said but this girl reported you to us that you have been threatening her for some months now, to be your l*sbian partner and if she doesn't you will make her life miserable, Mr Balogun said 

I was shocked, I have never seen this girl before in my life, today was the first time, Excuse me sir, can I ask her a question. I didn't even know what I wanted to ask her, for some days now, have been very bold, Go ahead Mr Williams said.

Thank you sir, what class am I,  I asked her fearfully, why did I even ask her, Answer her miss Esan said, I wondered why she was there, principal's rarely comes for such things, I said to myself.

She is in SS2O, She said, how many times did you say she called you to her class, Miss Bello asked, like 7 times, I even traced her there during classes to confirm before reporting this matter, she wiped an invisible tears off her face.

You are such a good liar, Mrs Nwajuo said, Dara Davins, who sent you, she started stammering,  you better save yourself when you can,am sorry, she started crying, i was forced to do it, you are just in JSS2 and you are doing this, Mrs Oreoluwa said, go and sit outside, we will get back to you .

Tola have you ever been a l*sbian, Mrs Esan asked me, it was obvious she was angry at me,  o sighed, Yes ma'am, but that was in the past, it was my past errors, I came to the disciplinary committee to confess immediately I gave my life to Christ, some weeks ago . She was shocked, I knew she never expected that.

Check her file , if she did that, she would have filled a form and als check the date, Mr Kelvin said, while Mrs Oreoluwa opened my file, she filled this form 2 weeks ago,that is before this case was brought to the disciplinary committee.

Go and wait outside, tell Dara to come in , Mrs Smart said.

Dara's POV

Snr Tola came to call me, am sorry senior Tola, I had no choice but to obey them, I said leaving, it's nothing Dara, she replied.

Darasimi Davins, if you say the truth , we will be lenient with you, but if you don't, you will be suspended from this school

I started shivering and sweating, I know the kind of girls I was dealing with, school terrorist, you have 5minutes to talk or your suspension letters would be printed Mr Williams said  who sent you?. I stammered it's senior Stephanie, she threatened if I don't she will make my life miserable which she has started before I finally succumbed to it.

That can't be through, which Stephanie are you talking about, assistant head girl , o said. She can never do such a thing , he shouted at me angrily. Go to your hostel we will get back to you, call Tola inside.

My day wasn't funny at all, that was the worst day of my life, I went to the hostel, classes was already over for the day.

Omotola's POV

I walked inside the office, I was very scared with the look on their faces, Mrs Nwajuo handed the school hand book to me, read the section C she said. 

I read , anyone who confesses or renounces her involvement with a cult group or ungodly practices , a week or two weeks before any allegations where made to the disciplinary committee, should be freed, with punishment but with further investigations to ensure she is no longer involve.

Mr Nwokebelu, Omotola you can go back to your hostel now, we will get back to you, he said.

Two weeks later,i did not hear anything from the disciplinary committee, the SS3 students had already started their mock exams, we have also been hearing rumors that the school authorities are compiling the list for prefects,. I was not bothered, because I know my screening did not go well, plus the whole issue on ground.  a junior came to call me in my hostel, Snr Maggie is calling you.

Hope no problem, I asked her, none that I know of, ok I immediately left for the current head girl's hostel. Good evening Senior Maggie,  I said. Hmm, what a beautiful girl, no wonder Stephanie would not allow you rest she said, as she held my waist, and was about touching my boobs, stop right now, I said removing her hands, you might be the head girl of the school but not my body. Don't try that again.

What would you gain for forming hard to get, I can help you become a prefect and also end the case with the disciplinary committee, if you do what I want, she tried kissing me, get the behind me Satan, I shouted, i would rather love to be punished than to do this, she was about touching me again, then, I remembered the bible verse that says flee from every appearances of evil, I ran as fast as my legal could carry me.

What nonsense, am I the only one in this school, there are lots of beautiful girls, why me, I have made a vow not to do this again, i said to myself as i was running.

The following morning, we heard gists that prefects will be badged that day, so every acting prefect dressed well, I dressed my normal way, at least I was always neat.
