Omotola's POV

Mom promised to always get in touch with me, I hugged her, I saw this part of my mum , when I was very young, I travelled to Ibadan later in the afternoon, I spent the night at Chioma's place, I appreciated them for their support , I was happier than usual, the joy of having a family that cares so much for you

Two days after, I went to Mercy's place, her family where hyper excited to see me, where have you been Mrs Jaja asked, I went to the village for grandma's burial, and you could not invite us, am sorry ma, it was an impromptu party.

Ok dear, your friend is inside, I went inside,me and mercy gisted , Bro Josh knocked the door and then entered, see who we have here, Don't mind her, she has been forming for us because she knows how much wee like her, Mercy said, it's not like that , where is Phillip, I asked changing the question,. He will be returning tommorow, your favorite . Mercy said.

Hmm, can I borrow your friend for some minutes, Joseph said, I need to rest I was saying, then he held my hands , then we entered his room.

What is the meaning of this, I said

Joseph's POV

Tola, has anyone told you how beautiful you look, I said looking into her eyes, then she looked away, frowning, did I say anything bad, Not really,  I told you I was tired and u still forced me to come with you she  said.

Am sorry dear,. I have something really important to tell you and its really disturbing me.

It can wait , tomorrow or probably later, she walking out of the room hurriedly, like I was going to eat her or something.

Omotola's POV

I couldn't control myself, when I was alone with him, my heart was skipping , his hands gave me good bumps, I was so scared, I shunned  him and hurriedly left the room

. I knew what I did was bad, but I couldn't help it

I entered Mercy's room and hurriedly cover myself with Duvet, so quick she said, did you guys fight, she said laughing, I need to sleep,  I said angrily, Good night.

The next day, I avoided, brother Joseph Mrs Jaja made it easier for me, we went shopping for birthday clothes , we came back late in the evening, Brother Josh had prepared something for us already, we ate and went inside, then I told Mercy what transpired yesterday between me and her brother, that girl has a way of forcing things out of her mouth, don't worry dear, in due time things we begin to fall in pleasant places unto you, she said

Bible scholar, I teased  her, then a knock interrupted us again, come in Mercy said, big brother , how are you doing he asked her, I have a question for you Mercy, do I smell or irritate , not at all, hot Doctor,  you friend is avoiding me, no she is not Mercy cuts him, let me excuse you both.

Joseph's POV

Can I sit, lol this is your house, you are free, Tola said, then cause.

Why did you leave like that last not, am sorry she stammered. I don't bite,  then I paused a little, I didn't even know what to say, Tola,  I love you.

You should not say that again, you can't love me,ask Chioma,  Joseph can you excuse me, I opened my mouth ,I didn't even know what to say, she stormed out angrily, she avoided me through out her stay , she left a day after the Birthday, as early as possible

Omotola's POV

I stared at Joseph as he spoke thaose words to me, I wanted to tell him, I feel the same way too , but I couldn't, I just kept shouting at him,  I felt so bad the way I reacted and avoided him as much as I could.

Mercy was so busy, she didn't ask me anything about it, I left hurriedly the day after the party, school finally resumed , I kept thinking of Joseph, it was so serious that I had to pray against it, this was the first prayer Good ignored since I gave my life to Christ, the feelings kept coming, church activities started , school activities also started, the semester  also got tougher, i kept it at the back of my mind that lost souls can surrender to Christ because of your academics performance

Mercy's POV

I had to visit Tola, she was avoiding me please my calls, mom and dad kept asking of her, Joseph hasn't been happy, I need to talk to her.

Tola was extremely happy to see me, it's 6 month since I last saw you , you now spend all ur holiday at ur newly founded uncle's place

Oops, someone is really jealous, she said smiling, she handed over a drink to me. Tola , my brother sincerely loves you, I have never seen him this sad before, even when his ex left, he wasn't bothered,  you shouldn't run away from problems, always tackle  them.

Am sure he has good intentions, please hear him out, and also pray about it, what ever your decision is, we will respect it, but Don't stop being our friend. We talked about other things again, my graduation is in  next month ending, don't miss it, we will be celebrating with mum's 65th birthday.

Wow is she that old, an old woman in a young body, she said laughing.

TOLA'S POV

I was happy to see Mercy, hae missed her so much, I couldn't deny the fact , I was avoiding their place any longer, we talked about Joseph, I was so glad to hear about him, Mercy am only he scared, I don't know if he can accept me and forgive my past life's.

I can't really say, all I can say is that you shouldn't hide anything from him, Let's leave the rest in God's hand, she said smiling.

Thanks a lot Mercy, I feel so relieved talking to you, we talked about lots of things, before she left.

Session has end, Mrs Jaja has been on my neck, come and let's plan this party, I promised to come over as soon as I finish my exams.
