My Mistake - Episode 3

 

Aysha sighed heavily, massaging her temple as she paced her room. Should she do what Amirah advised her or not? But what if things don't work out the way she wants? What happens when her parents friend out what she did if possibly Fadeel rejected her.

Sighing deeply, she sat on the couch behind her and unlocked her phone. Going through the pictures of Fadeel she has, her heart surged forward and lurched deep inside . And then, she made her decision that she would do____she would do anything she can to get him___to make him hers.

She quickly dialed Amirah's number and as soon as she picked up, she whispered.

"I'll do it girl. I will. When do we start?"

Amirah smiled widely, a happy grin on her face. Finally! She's going to get rid of Aysha!

"Let's go shopping later, we need to buy clothes for the show. What do you think?"

"Yeah. Its a nice idea. Should we tell Fa'izah?"

"No no no" Amirah replied quickly "Don't. We shouldn't. Let's keep this between us___if we tell her she might say no____let's just do it__you and I."

"You think so?" Aysha asked unsure "We've never did anything without her___you think it's save?"

"Of course it is!" Amirah snapped angrily "it is okay and we're going to do this without her knowledge. Okay?"

"Okay." Aysha answered "I'll see you after _zuhr_ then."

She slipped the phone from her ears. She wasn't happy with the fact that Fa'izah wouldn't be joining them in this. But maybe that will be the best___she needs to get Fadeel__and Fa'izah might say No to the idea.

"I'm sorry Fa'izah" she mused to herself slowly "But i have to do this without you____only after getting him will i, maybe__just maybe tell you."

She sighed again, massaging her temple as she lay back on the couch, closing her eyes___she drifted into a slumber which was deprived by her yesterday.

"Pick those bum shots."

"Those lingeries too."

"Hey! You need to pick those curvy gowns too. They sure are going to fit you perfectly."

"OmiGod! Look at those mini skirts Aysha!"

"Damn! I think those tops will really look good on you."

And they walked around the store, picking up everything that Amirah thinks will 'suit' Aysha. Even though Aysha didn't like some of those lousy clothes___but she had already vowed to do everything she can to get him.

"Aren't they okay?"

"Yeah. Let's get some really dark shade of red lipstick___you know, they are good in tempting men."

"Ohhhhh, but i have them already."

"How red are they? I bet they aren't as red as this" she added pointing at one of the packet of red lipstick on the shelf.

"Well___N...No."

"Then we are buying them."

"Okay." She sulked.

By the time they went back home, it was already late and close to maghrib. She quickly went to her room and hid all the clothes they bought, thanking the stars that her mom was not in the living room when she came back.

She took a quick shower, prayed Maghrib and waited for Ishaa. She ate dinner in her room without going out of her room, all i attempt to plan how to approach Fadeel.

It was already past 8pm and she was going through the clothes they bought when she heard a loud knock on her door___morelike, banging. She stood up quickly and hid the clothes in her closet before approaching the door.

"Waye ne? (who is it?)"

"You've got to be kidding me Aysha! Where the heck were you today?!" Fa'izah yelled angrily behind the door.

Aysha quickly unlocked the door "Oh come on girl. Easy please."

"Easy my foot!" Fa'izah snapped angrily as she pushed Aysha out of the way and stepped into her room. "Where were you? I've been calling your phone and I've came here twice without finding you. Maama said you went out with Amirah. Where did you two go without me?" She said through gritted teeth.

Aysha gulped uneasily, as she looked away. "I....i...we....we just went out. Inna sent her and she asked me to escort her, yeah___that's it" she replied looking away and blinking her eyes.

"Oh really? Why are you looking away then? I know you too well to know you are lying Aysha."

"I'm not lying" Aysha snapped as she sat by her bed "just let it slide__please."

Fa'izah sighed and sat beside her.

. "I was looking for because something came up. You remember Yaya Fadeel's friend right? That one from yesterday right?"

"Yeah." Aysha replied nodding her head.

"Well____he likes you!" Aysha nudge her as she squealed happily.

"What?" Aysha asked shocked. "What the hell do you mean by that?"

"Yeah___he said he likes you." Fa'izah said fumbling with her fingers.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Aysha yelled angrily "you already know that i like no scratch that__i love your brother!"

"But he doesn't love you and doesn't even know you are crushing him!"

"So what?" tears were already breaming her eyes "He doesn't love me and doesn't even know i love him. But don't worry___I'll make him love me, that is a promise!"

"Snap out of it and accept someone who's already interested in you. Snap out of this Bullshits Aysha and forget about Yaya Fadeel. Love someone who loves you and forget about him. He isn't worth your love__please forget him.

"No!" She was already crying by now "I love him and I'll make him mine. I don't care who he is or what he does__it's him I love and I'll get him."

"Fine! Suit yourself Aysha." She banged the door behind her after closing the door and left Aysha standing in the middle of her room.

She slumped down slowly on the floor. Wiping her tears, she stood up and picked her ringing phone.

"Hello."

"As salaamu alaikoom. Is this Aysha Ibrahim Bappah?"

"Yeah. Who is this please?"

"My name is Muhammad, Fadeel's friend."
