The Citadel
THE TEMPLE
The inner room of the temple was large like the size of medium football pitch. It had three pillars lining the middle and each pillar was made with pure gold. The walls were carved with the stories of ancient times including the rise and first defeat of the evil mangi. The floors were tiled with pure rubies while the altar of the temple were heavily studded with precious stones like ruby, sapphire, emerald etc having no windows on any part of the high walls, the only source of light was a river-like glow of white light in a shallow well which is located close to the altar where it reflected on the precious stones. This meant that the precious stones shone and shimmered with long tentacles of light reaching across in room in their different colours; even the floor glowed red from the influence of the light.
However, the Chief priest Malik who had call a meeting of all the elders and Priests knelt at the base of the well of light staring into the empty well . The priests had proved themselves resourceful by bringing in Torches of fire and placing them in strategic positions to provide light. The chief priest had been so stunned at the absence of the light he had know since he was a boy that he still knelt there motionless and staring until some other priests roused him and took him aside to go sit down. He was old, about 98years

. His hair and beard were as white as snow and the lines on his face had deepened with sorrow at the happenings for a time now.
There had been reports of sightings of Ominas within the provimce. There had been attacks here and there, though the Ominas caused more mayhem in other provinces further away from the citadel which housed the temple. The protectors were all ready waiting for their leader - The Unidos to come and lead the battle because they literally cannot fight against the evil forces without the power bestowed on The Unidos. Now the Citadel is directly under attack with a blow directly at the heart of the realm.
The chief priest had utterly rejected the of what he referred to as witchcraft (Phone); now he was forced to get on the phone and make calls to the cardinal points in the realm asking for help in finding and bringing the Unidos to the citadel to lead his army. The question on the minds of everyone though (the priests and elders) were "who is it that holds such power as to command the light of the citadel to leave its abode of a thousand years?"
