Aftermath II
They approached the home of the healer with extreme caution kknowing that Ominas could be in the area. It was midday but they knew that there were still Ominas in human form that may spot and follow them to the healer's place and then attack from nowhere. The protectors were sent out as scouts to make sure nothing went wrong.
JASON
I had never seen Ed in this light before. He is so compassionate and strong at the same time
. He has grown so much in the last one week that succeeded the first attack on him. I became certain that if he was attacked now, he wouldnt crumpled to a paralysed heap on the floor as he did on that day. He had begun to look more commanding everyday and even I who had such a low opinion of him at first could not resist obeying his commands.
We got to the healer's house in record time and met his son out in the fields tending to his father's farm and he led us in to meet his father. Before we went in Ed told the traveller we had ccomissioned to convey us to the placed that hewas free to go but the man declined.
"It is my honor to serve the Unidos", he said, "I will convey you to where ever you need to go."
"The journey will be ardous", Ed began trying to disuade him.
"Yes I know but I will follow you at least until you have no more need for my wagon".
"The realm thanks you for your sacrifice. We are indepted to you."
I wondered how the man knew that Ed was the Unidos

. Looking at him though I could see an undeniable change in him. He had evolved into the man of power and and wisdom he was expected to be all those years ago. The young lad we met who had identified himself as Lanre led us to the sitting room while he went in search of his father.
"Father!" He called. "Some men are here for you."
The man came out and saw the young men and the motionless woman that was lain on the chair.
"We have come to seek the use of your expertise in healing our friend here". Ed said to the man when enquired why we were looking for him.
"What happened to her?" He asked.
"It is hard to explain. Please just examine her." Ed pleaded.
The man stooped to examined her and after a while he said, "She lives still but there is no mark on her. This can only mean one thing..."
"What does it mean?", I asked not wanting to hear any bad news.
"She is under a spell".
