Discovery
The Ominas usually had the form of a monster but now they had found a way to possess the body of humans. This means that you could be sitting in a bus with one of them and not know it, except of course if you've known about ominas and can recognize their peculiar smell and the unnatural glint in their eyes. The Ominas Edward conquered were in human forms and this laid credence to the fact that Mangi is coming and he means business . This also means that someone tore the veil between the spirit world and the human world and this tear gave the Ominas the ability to possess human bodies.
With these thoughts swirling in Ed’s head, the truth dawned on him. “Mangi is not yet free from his prison, but he will be soon because someone is helping him.”
Jason looked at him surprised, he too was thinking the same. “How do you mean?’’ He asked.
“He appeared to me like a cloud in the sky but it was the Ominas that attacked me and placed the seal on me. There is a tear in the veil and that’s why the Ominas can have access to human bodies but Mangi himself is still powerless. Someone is projecting him and trying to break him out.”
“You are right Ed, but I thought you missed all the classes on that. How do you know all these?”
“I have my ways.” He said smiling smugly.

. They made a small fire and was roasting a squirrel Jason caught in the bush. The river was calm, the night sky had a soothing effect. The moon was a cresent but there was stars scattered all over the sky.
After they had eaten, Ed pulled of his clothes and gently immersed himself into the still waters, he bared made any noise. The water felt warm on his skin. He let himself get fully immersed in the water and thoughts of Kana and Jane filled his mind. Jane lost her life because of him and Kana could be in danger but he had a job to do the whole of humanity to save and he couldn’t go back and risk being subdued by a swarm of Ominas. He was sorry that he couldn’t even save goodbye to her because until the war is over and victory is assured, he could never go back. This was a job he never wanted but now that he had it, he was damned if he was gonna let anyone defeat the realms under his watch.
He had been under water for some seconds and was beginning to want and so he tried to rise up out of the water but he couldn’t. It felt like there was a covering over the face of the face of the water, like a cloth was placed over the water. He swam up trying to find a way out. He was already getting choked under water. He could hear Jason shouting his name frantically but He couldn’t make contact. He twisted and turned trying to break free from the veil to no avail. He slowly began to lose power and water started slipping in through his lips, he was drinking bucket full of water in no time and his last thought before everything went black was, “I don't wanna die, I'm not a coward”.
