The images became clear, 

" Gabriel...  My Gabriel.. . "
She said and fainted. 

Continues... 

" No! Queen!! "
Desmond screamed. 

" My child! "
Davis said. 

" No no....  They just had an accident. "
Williams said. 

Gabriel jumped down from the van and ran towards the place of the accident. He rushed towards the car, straight to the drivers place where Queen was. 

" My love!! My heart... Please open your eyes. "
He tapped her. 

Desmond got down from the vehicle and rushed towards the car. Gabriel tried bringing Queen out but he couldn't. 

" Help me, she's stuck"
Gabi cried. 

" Honey! Please stay with me. Help me!! "
Desmond yelled. 

Queen opened her eyes and just a word left her lips.

And she fainted again. 

The police men were able to get the door opened and they rushed Queen and Alice to the hospital. 

PHINA'S ANDERSON'S HOUSE...

Phina was sitting in her sitting room, Obviously depressed. 
Ruth walks in and sat opposite her.. 

"What's with that face? "
Ruth asked. 

" Nothing really... Just thinking.. "

" About what? The baby? Your thoughts better be far from abortion ."
Ruth clicked her tongue. 

" No, not that.. "

" The baby's dad? Have you told him? "

" I've called him but he not showing any interest . He even insulted me. "

" Who wouldn't when you gave yourself so cheap. That's no problem at all cause he won't escape this as long as I am alive. We will go see him tomorrow. "

" Must we do that? "

" Hey! I'm not giving you any option here. Okay...? "

" If you say so.. "

AT THE HOSPITAL... 

The whole family was pacing to and fro, waiting for a doctor to tell them about the current state of Queen. Jessi was with Morris, she hasn't said a word to Williams ever since their parents confirmed that they are really siblings. 

She kept staring at Doris, her mother. Desmond on the other hand, kept thinking of what Gabi said earlier. Different random thoughts running through his mind. Everyone had a dish of thought but wouldn't say a word to anyone. 

Mr Davis couldn't help but imagine the level of his wife's betrayal. How much he boasted about his wife's honesty to his friends. How much he trusted her and it turns out that he was lying to himself and everyone he bragged to. 

The only thought everyone had in common was Queen safety. A doctor came out of her room and they all rushed to him. 

" How's my daughter doc.? "
My Davis spoke first. 

" She's fine, but she's not yet conscious. "
The doctor replied. 

" Doc, hope she's out of danger? "
Gabi asked. 

" Be rest assured she is. There's absolutely nothing to worry about. "

Everyone hived a sign of relief. 

" Can I see her now? "
Desmond asked. 

" Um... No, I'll suggest you let her rest for now. "

" Thanks Doctor. "
Doris said. 

The doctor nodded and made to leave but Jessi called him. 

" Doctor.. "

" Yes ma'am "
The doctor turned. 

" How's my Mom, the woman brought in here with her. "

Everyone turned to Jessi, obviously shocked. 

" She's fine, she didn't sustain any injury. Just the shock that made her lose consciousness and little scratch but she's OK. "

" Alright Doctor, thank you. "
Jessi replied. 

" You're welcome. "
The doctor said and headed out. 

Everyone went back to sit and Desmond went to sit with Gabi 

" Hey man.. "
Desmond said to Gabi.. 

" Hey... "

" It's a relief she's safe. "

" Yea, I'm glad she is. "

" Mind if we talk? "

" No, what about? "

" Earlier, you said there are thing I don't know. "

" Yea, " Gabi chuckled " One can't know everything you know? "

" Yea, but this is way different, you said Queen is your fiancee. I don't understand. "

" Oh! You heard that.. "

" You have to tell me, how? Man I don't understand. No one seemed shock when you said so. It's crystal clear that I'm walking in the dark. "

Gabi was quiet for a while and then he exhaled. 

" Queen and I have known each other since secondary school days. We made our plans together and lived for each other. Yes, we loved each other very much but then... "

Gabi stopped and look at Desmond in the face.. 

" But then...? "
Desmond said, gesturing him to continue. 

" But then, on the night I wanted to propose to her, she somehow knew it and she was faster than I was. I bent down to tie my shoelace but then she shouted yes, thinking I wanted to propose. I didn't understand at first so she she got embarrassed and ran way. I chased after her but she stopped in the middle of a road and got hit by a vehicle. "

" And after that , she hated you? She broke up with you? "
Desmond asked. 

" No far from that. The accident resulted to a serious brain damage. "

" Brain damage? What do you mean? "

" When she woke up, she couldn't recognize me anymore. Queen has amnesia. She now has amnesia, at first, I felt the connection between us but maybe it was too much and she started feeling awkward around me so she avoided me. "

Gabi scratched his head, tears already building up in his eyes. Desmond was broken, Gabi is more like a brother to him and Queen is like the breathe that keeps him alive. 

" And up till now she doesn't know? "

" Yea, she doesn't know about us. "

" Why didn't you help her remember. You said the connection was there, why didn't you help her see clearly the desires of her heart? Why put us, me! I'm this difficult situation!? "
Desmond cried. 

" How do you expect me to look at Queen and say ' I love you ' when I know you are dying to say the same! Bro!! You are not my friend, you are my brother! Why didn't you help her? Why didn't you tell me, I could have tried to stop my self from loving her this much! Why? "

Desmond lamented in pain, Gabi couldn't hold back the tears as he let them role freely on his cheek. 

" I tried Bro. I tried to help her remember. "
Gabi said. 

" How did you? "

" Through actions..."

" Why didn't you tell her about her past? "

" Cause I told them not to.. "

Williams answered from behind, drawing their attention and they turned.

. Williams came around and sat with them. 

" I was her doctor then, when Queen was brought to my hospital, I saw it as an opportunity to atone for not been able to save the love of my life. I did everything I could for her to get better but in the process, I fell in love with her. I knew if she was constantly reminded about her past, her memories will eventually return but then, I thought life had given me another opportunity to love. "

Williams paused and looked at the two whose eyes were fixed on him.. 

" So...? "
Desmond said. 

" I selfishly used the amnesia to my own advantage. I told them not to tell her anything about her past cause  it might lead to a worse condition for her but the truth is I wanted to win her over."

" What! All in the name of love?! "
Desmond yelled. 

" I'm sorry Gabriel. I'm really sorry, I didn't know what else to do. I was desperate. Look at my life, it's worth nothing, nothing at all. "

" The only thing we can offer ourselves now, is forgiveness and nothing more. "
Jessi said to them. 

Gabi shook his head wistfully and stood up. 

" What are we gonna do now? "
Desmond asked Gabi. 

" We let time tell us. "
And Gabi walked away.
