Incomplete - Episode 21

 

The constant buzz of my alarm forced me to acknowledge that it is morning already. I forgot to put off the alarm “such a short night” I hiss and cut the alarm. I drag myself off from the bed and walk to the restroom to empty my overnight filled bladder.

Bea was still sleeping; I cover her with the blanket. A smile appeared on her face as she burrows deeply into the blanket.

She look so sweet and innocent, if I had been told before hand that I would be this close with my bossy boss it would have been awkward but here I am, in her house, sleeping on the same bed with her.

I smile and slid quietly beside her, I want us to spend the weekend resting . We need the rest; her phone buzz indicating a message, I peep and it’s from Chris. Curious I read the message, I smile on seeing the content; he is very much in love with my boss. I will love that to happen, I look at her sleeping; I pick up the phone and reply the message

Giggling as I read what I typed, I hit send. She is so gonna kill me but I am doing it for her; I missed my one time love because I was naïve. I don’t want her to lose him; I know a true love when I see one.

“I wish I have one” I say dreamingly wishing for God to send a perfect man for me. I laugh at my thoughts “a perfect man? there is no such man”

Bea’s phone beam again, a reply from Chris; I slip the phone open and reply the message

. He reply immediately, I relax and we start chatting.

I smile and laugh at his funny words “I wish I got him first” I dismiss the thought

“WTF” I shout as I jump at Bea touch, I was so lost in my chat with Chris.

. “Good morning” I greet and hid the phone.  She nod and continue her search

“Have you seen my phone” she ask.

I bring out the phone and give it to her with my best puppy face. Confused at my expression, she stretch her hands and collect her phone. It beam immediately

“OMG” she  exclaim seeing the message, she scroll through the message and raise her furry face at me

“sorry” I say immediately ready to bolt at any attack

“You Barbie doll, what have you done” she scratching her hair

“thank God she still remember to call me Barbie doll, that means I am still at safe end” I clasp my hands together “Baby girl, you need a break; just give him a chance. He has been helping you through all this and he is handsome too” I say with a wink, emphasizing on the handsome part and raise my brow up

“you moron” she say and lounge at me with a pillow

I sprang to my feet and run to the toilet. I lock it immediately laughing

“I am definitely going to kill you” she yell from outside

“then I am not coming out” I shout back

“Okay, you are going to sleep in there’ she say and sit down in front of the toilet

*10 minutes later*

“Babe answer your call, he has been calling” I shout from inside

“Nah, I will not do that”

Her phone beam again

“Did he just text you”

“Yes and I don’t know what to reply; oya come and complete what you started”

“Promise not to kill me”

She sigh before shouting “Yes”

I click open the door and peeep

“come out joor, I will not do anything”

I slid out when I notice she is serious. I laugh at her funny face; we sit down and start chatting with him.

At a time I give it to her to type and I tell her what to type and I tell her what to type. We laugh and gist together as we chat with him; our bond grew that moment and the bossy attitude I saw in her disappeared, all I can see is a girl struggling to appear neat and perfect.

We spent the weekend lazily; cook, eat, chat with Chris, sleep, wake up, dance to our music, laugh at our funny dance steps and sleep again.

The weekend pass and the long awaited Monday surfaced. We have to figure out how to take the information we want, destroy Nora and save our image. I carry the chip with me every day to work with ma Nora, any chance I get I will definitely slid in the chip and get what we wanted.
