Incomplete - Episode 23

 

I guess everything is ending today. Today is my last day at Empire and the day Nora is going down. Tomorrow we sign the final deal with Max Consult and everything will be back to normal.

Satisfied I entered the elevator with new sense of pride. The elevator chimed and I step outside, counting my steps to Nora office.

The girls were sitting, each chewing bubble gum loudly waiting for their turn. I can feel their looks of hatred boring hole on my back as I walk straight in.

Some hiss or frown on seeing me especially the miss hot . I know she thinks I took her favorite seat but that’s the last thing on my mind. I shake my head in pity because they will soon be jobless.

I pushed open the door, Nora raise her head on seeing me. I greet and she point to the chair for me to sit.

“Are you strong now” she asks removing her glasses

Her glance became intense, I just have to nod

“Okay the guard is coming” she says and put on back her glasses

“I can go there and wait” I chip in immediately

She smiled and nods “I will open the door from here”

I give a slight bow and catwalk out of the office. I walked down to the dark room and indeed the door clicked open.

I entered inside and sit down for a minute; I have to do something before they come downstairs.

I walked quietly to the system, dropped my bag and feel my hand under for the chip

. “Ouch” I cried out from using my injured hand. I change to the other hand and continue my search.  I searched frantically for it almost afraid that it is gone; I bend slightly and peep to see the chip comfortable in its place.

“Ma Nora is on her way” I raised my head and see the guy mixing the terrible liquid to sedate me.

. I wondered if he actually saw what I was doing, I bluff that.

I texted Bea to be ready for our escape, I left my car for a purpose; so that my absence won’t be noticed immediately.

I adjusted my skirt and walked to the sedate table, sometimes I wonder if the guard ever talk more than twice; maybe for security reasons too #lol#

His back was still turned to me, I put the chip in my bag, “I need to pee” I said to get his attention

He point to the connecting door, “use the rest room there”

“No please, I have to use the one upstairs”

Silence

I sighed in resignation and entered the restroom; luckily for me the toilet have not been used for a long time and it’s dirty

“It’s dirty in here” I shouted from the toilet

Silence

“Maybe I have to use the one outside” I say and rush out of the room

“why are you in a hurry” Nora ask as we collide in the front door

“I need to use the restroom and the one inside is very dirty”

“Oh” she sighed “it’s not been in use for a long time; run along and be back in a jiffy” she walk past me and entered inside

I run silently pass the gateman who snore loudly under the tree and call Bea “I am outside” she says into the phone. I looked around and see her waving from her car packed a little bit far from the main entrance

“thank God” I sigh immediately I slid inside the car. Bea drove off without asking questions “no time to waste time”

******* Few minutes later I noticed a car tailing us behind. I tapped Bea and pointed at the rear mirror. She noticed the white car and to confirm what I said, she swirl to the left and it follow suite

“call Chris tell him we are being trailed” she say in a hurry

I called Chris but unfortunately for us, he never picked

“Text him and put on your location”

I do that, before I could say jack the car hit us hardly from behind. It hit us again and this time Bea couldn’t control the car. The next hit sent us flying and we pass out   

# Bea

“Tristy……… Tristy” I called out in the dark when I regained conscious. I hear her groan and I crawl towards where I heard the groan

“Ouch” she cries out as I step on her

She clings to me crying, I hold her close to me; I have put her through many stress while helping me. The door click open and I feel a familiar sense of pride

“That’s Nora”

“Nora” Tristy ask

“Maybe, I can perceive her cologne”

“Switch on the light”

The room bright out and I shout, “Mom” I exclaimed, Tristy recoil from me; it’s too much for her to take in, Nora kidnapped us

‘I am not surprised you are in this” Nora says and sits down

“Handover the drive and you are free” she say and stretch her hands towards Tristy

“We have nothing” I replied

She place her slender finger on her lips “Shhh” she face Tristy

“The drive or you die”

Tristy shift her gaze to me and I nod negative

She smile and relax on a chair, “you know I can circulate your nude video and make money out of it while you suffer; so quite playing with fire”  she says with a sense of pride

A guard walks in and whispers something to her and her mood change. I smile triumphantly “I guess it’s the news of the video disappearance from her system”

This annoy Nora and she stand up visibly angry

“Beat them up until they are ready to speak” she left and bangs the door angrily

The guard walk towards me and hesitate, she notice that and turn back

“Spare no one” she repeats and walks away
