Jane, I don't want to talk about that! I quietly sat,back he threw glances at me, but I couldn't say anything, what was I suppose to say by the way,and to someone I can equalize with a stranger? The prayer in my mind is that nothing bad should happen to me.
"I'm .....sorry, I thought the school field would be free, I plan on us having a nice time!"
Nice apology indeed, coming from my suppose lecturer I could score him out of ten, he seems to read my state cause he halted the car, turned my face to him
"Jane, I know you are annoyed with me, this our first outing was suppose to be good, just forgive me this once and I'll make it up to you"
I stare at the pout on his face, and if not that I wanted him to take me serious I would have laughed at him.
"Would you answer my questions?" He chuckles, then palms my cheek...
Any dear as far as you would answer mine! my lips dried up, he just baited me, the only way to escape the bait was to be silence and silence it would be, the guy is trying to pry into my family history, i think he knows more about me than he lets out, he just might want to confirm it from me, not everyone is proud of coming from a broken home, my parents are the worst species ever, mum doesn't even want to see me... . We are here, babe! I snap out of my thoughts to look at my environment, wow,he took me to the "classic B" its a new place,its booming and everyone is speaking of the place,its expensive too,I could never dream of being here,their meatpie, as gisted is worth #1000, no sensible student would buy that, but the place isn't empty, ken couldn't even see space in the garage, see wastage, if I tell one of the customer to sponsor me academically, they would search for panties, useless people! Kens eyes were studying me, I twitch my mouth then in a slow voice I asked
"Why did you bring me here?"
my voice screamed self consciousness, my ragged jean and polo didn't fit in, I wouldn't blend even if I try to, he gave a smile before saying
"Sweetheart, I'm wearing shorts with polo, we are in this together, and besides everyone in there would be minding their business, we're here to have a nice time."
I nod, actually I was wrong, with a handsome partner in my mood of dressing, I could blend in, I so love the way he gives me endearments, the dears, sweethearts....
