The party preparation was getting her too busy but with what I just witnessed on the screen, I knew she would soon be here.
Yvonne has been nothing but bitchy to her, that served her right, at least she needed to realize that she has no chance with Nicky.
What else did she want me to do for her? I have been nothing but nice to her, even though we were never actually friends…we were more than that….and she didn’t want it then too.
Things with Catherine has been so complicated ever since I met her.
I had put some things in motion that should bring her closer to finding out things she may have forgotten. I just really hoped it works.
The front door bell rang and I stood up to get it.
“Hi Noah.”
She looked tired and confused.
“What is the problem?” I asked
. “Do not tell me that the party is getting to you at last.”
She shook her head , in her hand was a paper bag. “The party is tomorrow and I have no idea what to give Nick as a present.”
“You want to buy him a gift?” I asked, sitting beside her.
“I don’t know yet. He gave me his credit card and I thought I should just buy him something with the money he intended for me to use to buy things for myself.”
“Wow! How generous, so what do you think…and what is in the paper bag?”
She rolled her eyes and brought out a flowery brown gown that looked somehow larger than herself.

. “You want to give Nick a gown?”
She scowled. “No, silly. Yvonne asked me to wear this at the party.”
I gasped. That was the ugliest gown I have ever seen. “You cannot be serious. That looks like a gown that no one would even want to be buried in.”
She sighed. “I don’t know what to do Noah.

I smiled. “So why don’t you move out?”
She stared at me. “I don’t think Nick would want that.”
“His excuse has always been that he wants you to have a company, right?”
She nodded.
“Well then, you can move in with me. You will tell him you feel he needs a space with his girlfriend.”
“ I don’t know if he would accept that Noah.”
“Well, try it first.. By the way, what do you intend doing with the ugly gown Do you want to mend it or buy another?”
She looked at me, puzzled. “Mend? How do I do that?”
This was the opportunity.
“I have a sewing machine, try to see if you can use it.”
“But I have never used one before…” She protested.
“Well, I will teach you, come on.”
Together we went to the basement where I kept her sewing machine, if she could use it, that would mean her memories were not as suppressed as I had thought.”
I switched on the light and then removed the cloth that was used to cover the machine. All the while, I kept watching her, to see any reaction, there was none.
SO I sat on the stool and …
“Wait. Do not sit that way, it would be painful when you start sewing.”
I stood up and attempted to adjust, I had no idea how to drive the machine.
“Stand up Noah. Somehow, I think I got this.”
“Are you sure?” I asked as I left the stool for her.
“I’m not sure, but I think I do and by the way, I would need a brown thread and some colorful buttons….”
Yes! That was what I expected.

SO, Noah just uncovered a part of Fiona she never knew about. That guy knows even more about her than we think. Okay so the party is coming soon, its gonnabe a blast..don’t you just wonder how Fiona would look at the party? LOl>>I do.
