"You took my result sheet home intentionally right?" I asked Claire as I walked to the meeting venue of the Red cross organization... Where she was already seated. "No... Was just making sure you show up as promised" she said with a devilish smile.. "Claire , you are so evil minded" I said laughing.... "Exactly" she affirmed handing me my result sheet . "You have no idea how much explanations I had to give to momma! And she started to tease I had found a girlfriend once she heard a girl had my results... All thanks to you Miss Claire" "Oh my gosh, I can't stop laughing. Who would have seen your face" she laughed so hard tears went down her cute cheeks. "I'm gonna punch you" I threatened. "You won't..." She said folding her hands and smiling in an ominous manner. "I know what you are up to and I won't ask why". I said muffling a laugh. She laughed again "you are as evil minded as I, take it or leave it", "who? No oh! You never saw me" I said raising both hands in a bid to show my innocence.

. In a husky voice which was a sharp contrast to his countenance. He said " you are welcome here today. Our new and old members , and I hope we enjoy our precious time here. I'm Dr. John Ofor, the secretary of Red cross organisation, Roses spring branch" "He continued other introductions before handing the stage over to the chairman and various others. I was also welcomed as a new member, I didn't quite understand everything done but I was made to feel at home and important. "Before we end today's meeting, we are engaging in community service this Saturday. We'll sweep all the roads at Awada layout and as many other surrounding streets as we can..... Are you in?!" A dark bulky young man cheered them as they all echoed "me!" "So, we are up at 8am and will be done at 10am. See you all there" he said leaving the stage and the meeting was closed with a short prayer. "Enjoyed it?" Claire asked as we walked to the gate. "Yes, thank you .... And don't ask why" I said trying to look serious . "I wasn't " she answered... Chuckling. "It wasn't boring as I thought it would be" I said stopping in front of the gate to say good bye . "It's never boring. And you'll get to know a lot of people too. And scholarships once in a while too. she said. "Neil, I'll see you soon" she continued, smiling. "Of course, on Saturday and then... On reopening day" I answered. She waved me goodbye saying "take care of your silly self" "Bye, evil genius" I waved too , laughing. And we parted .
