I woke up with a heavy headache and hangover. I looked at the time 8 am damn my head really hurts. I started reacting and rushed to the bathroom just in time as I threw up. How long have I been drunk? I rinsed my mouth and ran out. I sat on the bed and began to recall what happened yesterday. Damn!Dad had caught me drunk and slapped me what do I tell him to justify my actions? That thought was interrupted as I gagged once again and ran into the bathroom
. I had five trips to and fro before I relaxed,how drunk could I possibly get?I took my bath and dressed looking at the time mom and Dad would have probably left for their businesses.I walked downstairs but was shocked to see mom still around and making Breakfast. "Does that mean that dad stayed behind too". I made to run back to my room but mom interrupted "Jack Griffin Oghenetekevwe Chima don't think of going up that stairs". I grunted and turned back. mom was busy frying Akara and her back was turned to me so how she realized I was there is a mystery. "I'm your mom I Know everything about you and what you're thinking right now. I could pick your scent among the others"She interrupted me giving me the look. I just plopped on the chair groaning cause I know what's gonna follow

I came out of the building I was so happy i called mom. She picked at the first ring. "Hello mom I got the job!"I screamed in excitement. "Thank God!Thank you Lord!You never ceases to amaze me ... thank you oooo"Mom shouted over the phone. i laughed mom was so enthusiastic . When I saw the link I had clicked yesterday I saw HILLEX INTL company needed a cook badly and I knew I can cook very well so I went for the interview and it wasn't me talking,God was speaking for me. I wasn't asked anything, they just looked at my credentials and told me to resume tommorow. I'm so excited I want to call my best friend when a car pulls over.
