Dance With Me - Episode 29

 

The ladies were back in the changing room, changing their costumes to return into their normal clothing. Betty kept looking from Candy to Angy since they were both quiet which was unusual.

“Did I miss something?” Betty finally asked.

“What are you talking about?” Candy asked, removing her gloves.

“I mean you two have been quiet, are you okay?”

“Sure, why wouldn’t we be?” candy asked.

“Angy, you missed a step while we almost rounded up earlier, were you distracted?” Betty asked Angy who shrugged,

“I’m sorry.” She muttered she had missed a step when she found Jenny with Adams.

Betty frowned, this was so unusual. She realized Candy wasn’t even saying anything and she knew that something was off . Some seconds later Angy left the room and Betty tapped Candy by the shouldr.

“What?” Candy asked.

“Spill it!” Betty ordered and Candy sighed.

“Okay, I am sorry, I feel horrible but it was Omega’s idea.” She confessed.

“To do what?”

“To make Adams and Angy accept and fall for each other.”

Betty gasped. “are you crazy! They have been in love with each other right from the start so, what madness did you plan this time?” Betty asked.

“Well, Omega would hit on Angy to make Adams jealous while I think I must have already set the foundation to make Angy jealous by using Jenny.”

Betty gasped even more and shut her eyes

. “Oh my God! I just failed to come to work on time on just a single day and you just spoilt everything Candy! What were you thinking? Why can’t you just let them be and where is that silly Omega?”

Candy rolled her eyes and sighed, “I am sorry, I actually feel bad because she is my friend and I know I have hurt her feelings or probably  I’m still hurting her because I know that she made a mistake tonight because she saw Adams and Jenny together and I feel terrible. How do I make things right?”

Betty sighed. “You do crazy stuff Candy but I know you always mean well but that was really unfair.

. You have to stop whatever nonsense you are filling Jenny’s head with and pray to God that it won’t get to her head, that poor girl is new, if she is serious about her job at all, hooking it up with a man should not be in her plan in the first week!”
Candy looked guilty, “I showed her Adams’s picture.”

Betty raised her brows higher, “which of the pictures?”

Candy was quiet but gave her the knowing look.

“Oh no! You showed her the “hot Adams” picture?”

Candy nodded.

“Damn Candy! Anyway, I agree that he and Angy have been acting like kids and they are stupidly in love without realizing, but still, we can’t force them to be together, stop whatever you are doing and try and make things right without her finding out anything. You understand?”

Candy nodded.

Angy sat at a table alone, staring at  the cup in front of her...she hated feeling this way and it had started again. Why was she feeling bad just because Jenny had intercepted whatever connection she must have been sharing with Adams that moment and why was her bestfriend behaving like a total bitch!

Was it not Candy that had kept on encouraging her to go for Adams and all of  a sudden, she was rooting for Jenny and Adams now.

She hissed, she really hated her right now.

“Hey.” She looked around and found Omega behind her.

“Hey Omega.”

“Why are you looking gloomy?” He asked, taking a seat.

She shrugged, “I guess I’m just too tired.” She replied.

“Give me your hand, let me perform some magic.” He said, taking her hand in his and lifting it to his lips while she laughed at the craziness of his magic.

Adams looked away as he saw Omega lifting her hand to his lips.

“Hey, calm down, what’s up with you? Are you okay?” Marcy asked, wiping the surface of the counter.

Adams was sitting at the counter and kept looking at Omega and Angy often than he had intended. When he had seen her sitting alone, he had thought of going to her but Omega had beaten him to it.

“I am ok Marcy.” He grumbled, lifting the cup to his lips while Marcy observed him.

“Spill it out!” Marcy ordered.

“Omega is asking Angy out soon.” He blurted.

“So?” Marcy asked, “you don’t want her to be his girlfriend or what?”

Adams shrugged, “they just do not fit.”

Marcy gasped and burst into laughter, “so when did you become a match maker? Knowing who fits with who?”

“I just know.”

“Is Omega serious about this?”

“I think so, he said he is in love with her.”

“Wow! A sharp shooter, nice. I like men like him, everyone likes men who goes for what they want, not men who stalk and complain.”

Adams faced her sharply, “is that what you think I do?”

Marcy shook her head, “of course not. That would mean you are interested in her and you are not, right?”

Adams said nothing, he knew that was a tricky question, he didn’t even know what he wanted right now, all he knew was just he wanted to be with her but that wasn’t even enough.

Betty watched the whole scene through the  curtain where she was peeping from.

“It’s bad isn’t it?” Candy asked with a guilty tone.

“Yea but you should be proud, seems your plan is working.” Betty replied as they both watched Adams with Marcy. She looked amused as Adams kept taking an occasional look at Angy and Omega who were now dancing  together, laughing and enjoying themselves.

“Didn’t you say that Omega is supposed to pretend that he is interested in her?” Betty asked curiously.

“Yea, that was the plan.” Candy replied.

“Wow, he seemed clearly interested in her.” Betty replied.

“Well, any man would be interested in her.” Candy replied.

“True but whatever you are doing with Jenny, stop it.”

Candy nodded, “yea, I will.”

Angy shut her eyes as she got drowned in the splendor of the music. Her head was resting on Omega’s chest with her eyes closed.

Omega looked down at her, quite aware that Adams was watching them

“Is my charm working on you so soon?” He asked and she lifted her head up with a chuckle, “you would like that wouldn’t you?”

He frowned, “I would really love that.”

She chuckled more, “well, I don’t fall too easily.” She replied and they both chuckled. For no reason, she looked sideways and saw Marcy and Adams.

“Would you like to take a break?” Omega asked, sensing her distraction.

“Yea, do you mind if we go to the counter?”

He smiled and nodded. “As your lordship pleases.”

“If you like her that much, why don’t you tell her?’ Marcy asked and he chuckled.

“I already told you, it’s too late.” Adams replied, “besides,” he continued with a smile, “since when did you start vouching for her?”

“Well, since she proved herself trustworthy, I like her, I really like her.”

Adams smiled, “well, I can see that and for that, I am most pleased.”

“Oh, they are coming here.”

“Who?”

“Omega and your chic.”

Adams looked over and realized they were coming over.

“Don’t try bailing out.” Marcy warned him quietly and sternly.

“Oh, me? Forget it, I don’t back out that easily.” Adams said proudly, facing the two that were now almost at the counter.

“Hey you two.” Adams called out two them as they got closer.

“Hi, you two.” Omega replied, grabbing a stool close-by.

“You did so well tonight Angy.” Marcy commended and Angy smiled, taking a seat right beside Adams, “didn’t she Adams?” She asked, facing Adams on purpose.

“Oh, yea, she was so..beautiful tonight, she still is.” Adams replied, struggling with the words.

“Well, thanks madam and monsieur.” Angy replied, taking a slight bow.

“I couldn’t take my eyes off of her for one second.” Omega said, holding Angy’s hand and bringing it to his lips.

Marcy shot Adams a knowing look.

"I like your courage, Omega," Marcy said. "Unlike some people."

Adams heard her but he pretended as if he didn't.

SERIOUS DRAMA...SO SOME EVIL SPIRIT CAME IN THE MIDNIGHT TO PACK THE CABLES OF OUR TRANSFORMER....LMAO..I CANT STOP LAUGHING, NEVER HEARD THAT BEFORE ...SO GUYS, LETS PRAY TEH CABLES ARE RETURNED SO WE CAN FINISH THIS ON TIME....
