Dance With Me - Episode 33

Adams’s phone chimed and he opened eyes. He reached for his trousers which was on the floor as his phone was in his pocket, he dipped a hand into it and brought out the phone,  it was Marcy.  He frowned, as he realized that it was just some minutes to nine in the night,  that would mean that House 24 was still alive and kicking. He looked at the sleeping beauty beside him and realized  she was still fast asleep. Carefully, he stood up and climbed out of the bed so as not wake her up. Then he walked out of the room.

“Hello, Marcy.”

“Boss, John is here, it is an emergency.”

“Okay, I will be there soon.” He said quickly and ended the call. Then he walked back into the room, went to the bathroom to take a quick shower, then came out to get dressed after which he bent to kiss her on the cheek before leaving the room

Hours later, Angelica opened her eyes and groped for him on the bed in the darkness but couldn’t touch anything like a body on the bed. She was still naked except for the blanket on her body. She wondered where he could have gone to so she began to search for her phone, not knowing where it must have hidden itself during the hot love-making.

She smiled as she recalled what had happened some hours ago between them. she began to blush over again.

. That was the best love-making she has ever had. Adams was everything she had always wanted and she was really lucky to be with someone like him.

While they were making love earlier, she had fought the urge of telling him that she loved him but that was just how she had felt and saying it could ruin things especially if he wasn’t feeling that at the moment. Oh dear! Did she just say ‘love’? Wow! That would mean only one thing; she was in love with Adams Perez!

She sighed as this realization finally hit her, not that she was surprised actually, she knew that something like this might happen, she had just been so scared that it might just be infatuation or just a simple attraction or something aside love, but now, it was just right there for her to see. She was in love with her friend and it made her rally happy. She really had so much to tell the girls and she had no idea on where to start from.

She climbed out of the bed reluctantly as she was still very weak, then she went to the wall put on the light and realized he was gone.  Meanwhile, she found her panties and her other clothing on the stool beside her bed, on top of them was her phone.

She smiled; he must have spent time to pack those together so she could easily find them when she wakes.

She walked towards the stool and picked her cloths up. She contemplated on whether to wear them or not but changed her mind and was about to lie down when she heard the door opened.

She dropped her phone, he was back, finally.

“Adams?” She called out but there was no response except the movement. Out of curiosity she stood up straight, still hoping he would answer her but the door opened and another lady whom she recognized instantly came in. The lady she had seen in the pages of the magazine-Rita, Adams’s ex. She was the most beautiful woman that Angy had ever seen, even she knew that she could never compare with her, she was just too beautiful and everything she wore spelt designers. She was a star and she was Adams’s ex.

They both looked surprised as they saw each other.

Rita put down what seemed to be her travelling bag as she stared at Angy on the bed.

“Who the hell are you?” She demanded and Angy stood up, folding the cloth tightly to herself.

“I am Angy and what are you doing here?”

Rita ‘s brows were raised, “wow, I’m glad that you know my name, that means you know that this is my boyfriend’s room.”

“No, he said you broke up!”

“You are such a slut! Just because I and my boyfriend and issues which we were trying to fix you came to have sex with him?

“Wow! Back off bitch! He is done with you okay?”

“No, he is not done with me and why am I even conversing with a slut like you Do you actually think he will dump someone like me, for someone like you? Are you out of your mind? Look at this bitch.” Then she stopped and starred at the blanket in Angy’s hands. “Oh my God! Is that my blanket?”

Angy was confused.

“He slept with you on my blanket? Are you crazy?”

Angy had had enough; she quickly picked her clothes up and rushed out of the room while Rita kept on shouting at her.

Quickly, she changed back into her clothes while trying to blink back the tears that were beginning to find their way.
