Timmy and his men lifted their hands in surrender.
"Drop the guns!!!" One of the cops ordered and they adhered and dropped their guns.
"Put your hands behind your head!!!!" another  order came through.

Their hands were handcuffed and they were walked to the police car. They almost got in when one of them said," Timmy sir, you just got pranked.

The cops laughed their hearts out while Timmy and his men sighed.
"We have been sent by Inspector Coal to ensure all goes well," Their leader assured Timmy freeing them.
"You startled me back there," Timmy giggled  replying to the leader.
"It was the inspector's idea." The leader confessed.
"Okay, make sure nothing is traced back to me," he warned collecting their guns from the leader with serious looks back on.

Timmy and his men took few steps  towards their car when he suddenly paused and looked back," Hey big boss, tell the big man I will sort him out tomorrow morning." He assured and the leader nodded excitedly.

The next day Timmy and his father were busy celebrating their fulfillment with glasses of champagne while they watched the breaking news of Travis Scotto's and James Reno's death.

"Dad, how did you kill James???" Timmy asked out of curiosity.
"I hung him with his arms behind the head and left him to die, you know its difficult to breath in that position and one dislocates his arms . And  that's after denailing him

. That's what traitors deserved." Gerald sniggered.
"Okay, at least he is no nuisance," he murmured quickly wiping off the tear that had managed to fall down his cheek.

He treasured James and loved him as a brother but he betrayed him. He chose Travis over him so let them meet in hell and catch up about their miserable lives.

Celebrations were still on when they heard a loud bang on the door,"Both of you killed them, right???? Answer me????" Margaret inquired, the thump of the bottle of champagne and whisky coming in contact with the floor. It was unapologetic.

Not giving them time to respond, she continued, "You know you two are powerful so people get to get back at you with the people you love. Look at Dee paying for Timmy's mistake. I know they deserved to die but let me warn you if Dee doesn't get better or any of my other children gets hurt, you will know who I am Fools.

. Never joke with the love of a mother." She threatened them, throwing Gerald's glass of champagne to the wall and walked out.

Both of them were left speechless, they had never seen her so mad.

Six months down the line, Dee had been hospitalized many times. In and out of A level Traumatic center, she had Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD). Fighting her tortures off and off again.

All she did was clung on the Bible Ben gave her and tears would run from her eyes once in a while in the memory of Nelson.

Travis' and James' deaths had no leads so the police gave up. But Gerald's associates suspected he had a hand in it because hanging people is one of the ways he punished traitors.

A year passed and it seemed she was getting better. It wasn't in her blood to give up. Thou she became better she had no social life.  Her room walls was her best friend and nightmares  her bedmate. She could never understand how she got here and where her God was.

She had given up on him and swore no more prayers or going to church.

She dedicated her time to painting, even if her having a perfect family someday was only a fantasy maybe turning her fantasies into paintings was the only way to create memories.

She hardly spoke and neither did she look at her father nor Timmy when they spoke to her. She was still resentful, every time they opened their mouths she got angrier.

One chilly afternoon while painting  her favorite pink painting diminished and since no one was at home, she decided to get some from the store. She neither talked to the servants nor trusted them.

Walking around in confusion and in circles at the paint store, she slid on a spilled paint and fell on the firm arms of him with the warm brown eyes.
