Nick saw the shock registered on her face before Dee could hide it.
"You dropped your purse nameless," He smiled shaking the purse beside his face before bringing it forward.

Dee snatched it, a small smile playing on her lips.
She then widely opened the door and signalled him to get in after spotting some paparazzis.
"Don't you talk???" Nick confirmed holding her hand.
Dee just smiled and looked the other way.

Nick was about to ask another question when Esther interrupted them.
"Tell me am dreaming???? Is this Nick??? Esther squeaked hugging him tightly.
"I am your biggest fan," She giggled shaking him by the shoulders.
"I am glad and happy to meet you," he responded trying to bring out something which looked like a smile.
"So??..." Esther tried to bring up a conversation but Nick cut her off.
"Why does she not talk???" He asked pointing at Dee who was busy staring at her wallet.
"She went through a traumatic experience and since then she hardly speaks." She disclosed her hands on Nick's shoulders.

"Poor girl," He sympathized and dropped Esther's hands off his shoulder ready to walk to Dee.
Too bad Dee begun heading upstairs and their mom approached them.

"You look familiar," Margaret greeted Nick.
"He is the actor I have been telling you about. The one from my favorite soap opera???" Esther replied on Nick's behalf.
"Oooh!!!okay

. Please stay for dinner. It would be an honor having you join us." Margaret requested walking him to the living room.
"Pleasure is all mine mum plus am starving," Nick agreed rubbing his stomach.

Dinner was ready and everyone was seated at the table waiting to be served. The dining room was exquisite, walls covered with shimmering gold paper and in the middle of the ceiling above the oak table was a candelabra.

"Nick, I have seen you somewhere???" Gerald wondered having a bite from his plate.
"I guess its from the Television, since I am an actor." He responded taking a pause as if the thoughts had stopped entirely," Mama Mia, What is this???" chewing systematically," Its so sweet."

"I am the best chef around, that's pilau, steamed cabbages and peas stew. Dee's favorite..." Margaret boasted placing her hand on Dee's hand who not for a second lifted her face from her plate.

"Dee, so this is your favorite dish???" chirped Nick with a boyish grin on.
Dee nodded and continued eating.
"So Nick how is the acting life like, I am sure its not like the corporate world???" Gerald inquired trying to ease the tension around.
"Its okay, thou fame has its consequences you know. But my friend Nelson..." He was cut off by Dee who pushed the chair behind and ran out of there.

"What happened???" Nick wondered.
"Its nothing dear," Margaret assured him but Timmy disagreed.
"You talk too much, that's the problem." Timmy raged slamming the table and walked out.

"Is this how you people have dinner???" Nick joked and Gerald bursted out.
"I like you boy," Gerald claimed.

Margaret was about to stand up and leave the table as well when Gerald signalled her to stay.

After taking some few bites, Nick was restless to what was wrong with Dee.
"Where is the bathroom???" Nick quizzed faking a shake on the leg.
"One is on your left opposite the study room and the other is on your right next to Dee's room upstairs," Esther explained to him ready to take him but he declined with a head shake.

Dee sat on her bed going through Nelson's photos while her eyes became glazed with glassy of tears.

Unfortunately she came across a video of her and Nelson playing in the kitchen a day before he was taken away, her heart sunk.

As she blinked not ready to cry, they dripped from her eyelids and to her cheeks.
She was forever tormented by the past that couldn't be undone.

Only God knew how much she missed Nelson, her love and her best friend.

"Can I come in???" Nick queried opening the door.
Dee quickly wiped her tears and went to sit next to her painting.
"Dee, can I come in???" he queried again and Dee nodded.

"Thank you," he said blissfully walking towards her. His head cocked to the side, his eyes shifted from the painting to her, from her to the painting.

"You are really talented Dee, the painting it so beautiful." He complimented her taking a picture of it, "You thought I wouldn't know your name but I did. I am a super genius" Nick teased her stroking her cheek.

Dee twinkled and continued painting her sunrise.
"Why did you walk out of the dining table like that???" He lamented taking the paint brush from her.

He turned her face toward him and notice she looked sad.
"Did someone break your heart????" he posed only for Dee's eyes to brim with tears once more.

She stood up wanting to walk to the door but Nick held her hand and pulled her to his chest holding her tightly.
