Bloody Fog - Episode 20

 

Nick couldn't allow Dee to kiss him, its didn't feel right.

"Dee, I can't do this." groaned Nick looking away embarrassingly.
Dee puts up a growl face, heart crushed. She felt silly and stupid. She thought this was a chemistry but here it seems it was a mistake.

She begun walking away but Nick held her hand," I see beyond your body, forgive me if I find you beautiful. I am inspired by your good character . For many men, they would have loved to kiss you but to me its just the beginning of a new story. A story where a prince helps a beautiful soul and make it his duty to always have her happy." shared Nick and all along Dee hadn't realized her cheeks were wet with tears.

He continued," I won't rush things, last time it was a mistake but this time I will do things right. I will do them manly" He pulled her to his chest and tightly hugged her, "Don't ever think you are less perfect. You are a beautiful perfection."

Dee pulled back and wiped her tears. She felt a rush of feelings that she was unfamiliar with. It wasn't even close to what she felt with Nelson, with Nick its far way weirder.

"Thank you dear one. I will always be here for you too." She typed and showed it to him taking his hand.

"Thank you." Nick stated blissfully giving her a kiss on her forehead.

Nick put lawn chairs outside the car as Dee reached out for the blankets

. As Dee was reaching out for the cooler with the wine, she tripped and fell on Nick's arms.

They shared a moment of silent, staring into each other's eyes as Dee wrapped his arms around Nick's neck.

Nick heartbeat had gone a hundred notches faster, what was Dee doing to him????

Dee felt as if every ounce of breathe was being taken from her lungs in the air like the midnight smoke and surprisingly she loved the feeling.

Suddenly the urge to kiss Dee bubbled inside Nick.
"You should seat down, the hospital is far away from here." He lamented, scooping her off the ground and carried her to the seat.

The view of the stars was amazing.

.  Dee felt like an excited ten year old when the movie begun on the big screen.

During the movie, there was a weird silence between them. Dee noticed the awkwardness and leaned her  head on Nick's shoulder, linking their hands.

"Dee, I am sorry. This classical movie is just my favorite. 'The way we are' has always had a special place in my bones.

Dee smiled by the mention of bones.
"Are you having fun???" confirmed Nick.
"Yes I am, this is the best thing ever." typed Dee nodding wordlessly.
"I can't wait for you to begin talking again. I would love to hear your voice." Nick laced out kissing her hand.

"That beautiful star is you. It shines bright." said Nick changing the topic after he saw Dee's sad face was beginning to show up.

Dee couldn't hide the blush on her face.
They focused on watching the stars that they didn't realize the movie had come to an end.

"Dee, I am mad." cried Nick.
"Why, what's wrong???" demented Dee.
"Our movie is over and we haven't even watched the romantic parts." growled Nick.
"Its okay." Dee typed plastering a million kisses on his face that Nick had to cover his face laughing ," Dee enough, I am no longer mad."

Nick begun stammering a serious face on," Dee is time to go home, I wanted to take you at my place but i ...." Dee covers his mouth with her hand pulling him from the seat.

She puts on her favorite song, 'Perfect by Ed Sheeran' and forces Nick to dance along thou he ha bad moves.

"Dee, can I confess something???" whispered Nick and Dee nodded curiously.
"This is the best night ever. I only dance under the stars in set during shoots but now here I am dancing along with you. Thanks for the perfect night as the song says, you look perfect tonight." Nick gave his love speech as Dee balanced her tears.

"So wrong of me not to say Dee Kebata looks beautiful tonight. An angel sent from above. I hope I made you happy." He complimented her in a german accent spinning her around. To Dee, this guy was the antidote of her sadness.

Dee nodded placing a kiss on his nose.
"I am not sure if I will be able to sleep tonight with the kisses I have received I bet I am a frog turned to a prince." He joked sending her a wink.

With least expectation, Dee pulled back and switched the music off.
"Do you like me Nick???" typed Dee.
