Loyalty Dilemma
Nick walked inside the house, his face dominated by a profound sadness.
"My son what happened???" asked his mother gripping the wheelchair handrails and pushed towards him.
"Nothing mum," Nick murmured in a bored tone kneeling in front of her.
"Talk to me, son." His mother said cupping his face checking his nose out.
"Mum, I don't know what to do. My heart is bleeding mama."Nick confessed crying on her lap while she rubbed his back soothingly.
"Mum, I am falling in love with Dee so hard and so fast . I can't control it. I can't stand to see her hurt. I don't know what her father will do to her am scared. I wanted to come with her but her mum advised it wasn't a good idea. Mum she is like the air I breath, I can't live without her." Nick sobbed holding his mother's legs tightly.
"I noticed my son, the way you two played in the kitchen. Mind you since Diana you have never brought any other girl home. But what's there to be scared about??? Love is a sweet great thing." His mother advised him pulling him from her lap.
"But this love is filled with deceit and lies. A love that wasn't bound to happen mum." Nick cried out, his eyes dripping with tears.
"You have to make up your mind and know your stand

Nick nodded in certainty and ran upstairs. His mother heart was restless and disturbed since what she feared the most was happening right on her face. The past repeating itself.
Having time alone didn't seem much of a help. Nick's sadness still held a thousand pieces of glass that were wedge between his soul and body.

. Dee had hijacked his mind and shaking her off was all in vain.
On the other hand, Dee had casually sat on her chair, one of her leg propped up over the other as she swung and her eyes darting through her photos with Nick. With him she felt like the sky which loved the birds with open hands and infinite freedom.
Nick lied on his back on the bed and begun swiping through same photos Dee was staring at .
It seemed like a soap opera episode, no wait destiny is the name. Two people in love at different places thinking about each other staring at the same photos. What's that if not love???
He wasn't perfect but all he knew was that he would follow her into hell if that's what it meant to keep her safe.
Dee then stood from her chair walked to her wardrobe and took Nelson's shirt. She held it tightly on her chest and said in her mind, "Nelson I am sorry I am breaking my promise but i wanna move on. Give me a sign that it's alright. Please show me it's okay with you." A wayward tear flowing down her cheek.
Dee could feel inside her that she was falling for Nick. He was her only flame in that kerosene love of hers. She was certain she didn't want a moment with him but a lifetime even in the afterlife.
Nick was still feeling conflicted while he moved around his room like a mad man. Sitting, standing, lying down on bed, slapping his face, rubbing the back of his neck, rubbing his face. That's was all he managed doing rather than coming up with a solution.
He wished he could help them work as one but the problem was he didn't know how.
Both disliked the other so it was like a stamp of disloyalty or worse.
"What do I choose my love for Dee or my favour to uncle Alfred????" His mind was still in a surging perplexity.
He was caught between the opposing needs.
