Addictive Drug
After the touch paint talk show, Nick was endlessly talking of how amazing the show was but Dee was lost in thoughts.
Her sadness was like death by a thousand paper cuts. It had deadened her mind and snatched the beautiful smile out of her.
Nick was surprised that even thou Dee loved painting she didn't really seem happy with Nick's surprise.
"Dee, are you okay??? Are you feeling sick again???" He asked placing his back of his hand on her forehead.
She shook her head trying to put up a smile but it was hard than she thought.
"You didn't like the surprise???" He confirmed.
Only for Dee to walk out on him and run to the car.
Nick followed her, his thoughts in chaos.
In the car, Dee was in tears. Hitting her head on the seat.
"Dee, am here for you
. It hurts me to see you cry.

. Don't cry beautiful one." Nick assuaged her.
Dee threw herself on his chest, she just needed a hug. She needed soothing like a child.

. I want to see you happy." chirped Nick pulling her from his embrace," Smile for me sweet angel, let me wash your pain away." beamed Nick wiping her tears with his handkerchief.
Dee twinkled, she doesn't know how but suddenly she felt relieved, peaceful and amazing.
"Thank you for the smile, it means a lot." flirted Nick stroking her cheek.
Dee rubbed his knee and gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
"That's new," teased Nick tickling her for him to receive a punch on the arm.
"That hurts Dee, it hurts." Nick faked a cry and that led Dee to hold his head under her arm and begun soft punching him.
"You win iron lady!!" He laughed raising his hands up in surrender.
Dee agrees with him doing the 'I win' dance.
"Let's get out of here, I can see the paparazzis." agonized Nick sending Dee a flirty smile.
"I don't wanna go home," confessed Dee on a text.
"Who told you I am taking you home????" Nick huffed out a laugh.
She does her 'I win' dance again.
"Someone loves dancing and she is a sweet dancer." Nick complimented Dee offering her a sweet smile.
Dee squeezes his hand lightly and Nick could feel chills all over his body.
"Stop teasing me Dee or I would cause an accident."joked Nick, biting down hard on his lip.
During the rest of the drive, Both Dee and Nick secretly stared at each other in intervals smiling sheepishly. They always felt accommodating in each other's company.
"Walk slowly, don't trip." joked Nick, walking the now blindfolded Dee to her other surprise.
"I am glad you can't talk or you will be bugging me about what the surprise is." laughed Nick only for Dee to slap his eye.
"Watch out you will make me blind gorgeous." Cried out Nick rubbing his eye.
Dee covered her mouth not to laugh.
"Here we are gorgeous, my beautiful one before you turn my balls blue." chuckled Nick shaking her by her shoulders.
"Surprise beautiful," shouted Nick on top of his voice.
They were at the Mona Drive in
theatre.
"Do you like it???" Nick asked with uncertainty after seeing tears in Dee's eyes.
Dee hugs him, her heart stammering wildly in his chest. This was the best surprise ever. Nobody ever made her feel happy like Nick did.
"That's means you love it." whispered Nick touching his lips where Dee kissed him.
"Thank you. I love it. I have always wished to see a movie in a drive in theatre. I am grateful."typed Dee biting her lip hard not to cry.
"You deserve all the happiness in the world, I am sorry about the past few days. Its my pleasure to always make sure you have a smile on. No more pain from the past." Nick said blissfully cupping her face.
Dee leans in and she couldn't control the urge to kiss him.
