Silvia POV:

This wasn't happening, this wasn't happening that was the only voice I kept hearing in my head at the sight of Matilda and Mrs Tyson walking up to the stage, the spot I was suddenly turn all cozy ,
Mother of Christ, i was glued just staring at them like a statue...I couldn't  run out even when my heart was telling me to 
I was Automatically dismantled in the spot i was...
It was like an happy moment all turning hell and dizzy for me...........
.the worst part was  being around so many people just felt as if I was locked in the middle of battalions that causes all of my senses and body flying miles away from the ordinary life ...

I had seen a lot of arrogant, spoil and selfish ladies but Matilda was the biggest narcissist I had ever met, there she was putting on a smiling face to the public but she's no better than a bitch, 
Rage heated my blood at her sight and so wish at the moment to run ahead and squash her like a bug 

Slowly when i stare at lucas i swallowed repeatedly at his beautiful sight ,,there was hatred and disdain ,, more of rage when he glared at his mum and maltilda,  but what choice does he have,
It was a live news
Stopping them would be like tarnishing the image of the Tyson's ...an image his dad has worked so hard to build...
His throat was working convulsively as Matilda speaks,

"Hi every one ,,am maltilda hicks ,, and as you all are aware of, I just arrived to the country last night,"

That was the only words I heard others were useless
I knew lucas was trying so hard not to look at me, his unsmiling face was tossing down and sideways with a rapid blink of his lashes...

I was fast to clear the tears on my face when I realise it was already twinkling down..
I sniffled and tossed my head not to make my tears glaring....

after I try managing enough composure ..I glare back at the stage ...

Lucas and I are definitely not meant to be, so it is better I start getting him out of head from now on, I nodded to my thought while I kept battling with the tears that was threatening to explode...

he kept the charade of tossing his head down and sideways for like almost five minutes while Matilda and Mrs tyson took turns guess when he couldn't help it ,,he turn his gaze at me...
There when our eyes met Matilda pull him closer ,, as the reporters took different kinds of shots, the sight of her arms around him got my throat tightened ...i swear am gonna end up killing that girl..just look at her one could tell she was nothing but a calculative selfish little bitch

"How long have you two been dating miss matilda"

"How did you guys met"

God it was my fault ,, it was clearly written on his face that he do not Want this , he must be certainly angry at me too

maybe if i had told him earlier about the whole marriage stuff its possible he might have stop this whole act from happening..

Now it has happened and I was the cause of it  ,his mum and Matilda just announced their engagement to the whole world and I had took a 90% part in it ,,,....thanks to your act Silvia you  have no chance whatsoever with him anymore...

this time when another rumble of applause sounded, he didn't wait for the rest of his mum and Matilda charade, before turning on his heels
While his body guards surrounded him ..
Immediately they ushered him further ,,the clumsy reporters also surged towards him

"Lucas Tyson ,, you made a fantastic choice ,your fiance spoke beautifully well, what can you say about that?"

"Tell us more about her"

"She is so charming ,, what was it you really like in her?"

"Lucas Tyson how long have you guys  being together "

"Be a gentle man and hold your fiance Lucas Tyson, why are you not holding her?"

"No point in doing that okay, they are heading home now, would you please excuse me,, I have a lot to attend to" he replied

"Lucas Tyson, just two words, describe your fiancee"

"You do not seems happy is it that you do not love her" 

A particular reporter blocked his part and shove the micro phone to his face 

"Seriously," he raised his angry brows 

"No more questions now" Zion bass voice clear the clumsy reporter aside as he made his way right out with the bodyguards  and the hush of reporters following from behind...

I was about moving out with them when I sighted the stupid smile on Matilda's face she was saying her hellos to the older staffs working at the Tyson's, of course she was happy why wouldn't she be ....
Her engagement to non but Lucas Tyson was just announced to the world,, the number one most handsome and the top richest son of a billionaire ..., why wont she smile like a bitch that she is..
Jealousy as hard as stone got me clenching my fist hard .  
When she gave out a soft laugh she turn and there our eyes met, 
My cold fury one to her smiling face, 

I glared at her with an unexplainable venom that might have chilled her to the bone before moving right out,...

I was waking slowly to wherever after I was being told he is a conference meeting with the staffs he will be in charge of..
I realise there is nothing to wait back for What I needed right now was to cry..
I gasped at the  surroundings whose aesthetic outside blends with the interior all with white stairs and walls, the spaces were occupied with more modern metals and glass exterior joining with that of inside, this place was the definition of luxurious and definitely much more bigger and larger than it looked outside, 
I located one of the bathroom after gently closing the door behind me his image flashed through my head once again ,
Slowly, I pull out my phone and glance through the pictures both of us took along with Jamie yesterday,

"Oh Lucas,"

He had become more grown up and self reliant than he really was I just wanted to tell him am so proud of him, that I was sorry for keeping his mum plan secret from him that am..
..am that i love him so much

I hold on to my heart as the tears locking around the corner of my eyes stroll down with hard force ...
The calling of his name ragged with a pain that reach for nothing but my heart 
"Oh god "

"I love him, so much " I bent on my kneels and cry harder ...

"I love him god, why am I so unlucky with men"

Heaven knows I never wanted him of all men but it had happened with the inevitable of the sunrise, I never wanted to change him like this, being soft and emotion,but things hadn't worked as I'd planned ....i wanted to be hard on him, I wanted to torture him for the being he was, but now that am in love with him , what am I gonna do ???

    ....I lost time on how much I cried though, after I was satisfied

..tired and Breathlessly I push myself to my feet and  lean over like a zombie towards  the sink before dabbing few handful of water all over my face ..
This is the punishment I get after I swore never to fall in love again ...
I was catching my breath, when the door to the bathroom opened ..

"Shit i forgot to put a lock on it ..I froze when I realise it was non but Matilda
How did she knew I was here

I glared at her through the mirror as she walked majestically with a kind of laugh that is beyond irritating I realise she wasn't in the dress I saw her in this morning  ..the sight of her pastel brassiere and boobs visibly showing underneath her dress got my head ringing, it was a s*xy dress enhance by bands of black sequins at the neck and shoulder, a Pastel garter belt , elegant bead, bracelets, huge earring,  in all the dress was a tight fitting one that shows enough of her thighs ..

" what do you want" I scowled

"How do you know I was here, are you stalking me or what "

She laughed once more before shoving her phone up to my view ...

"So this was you, you were the one Lucas was kissing,"

I eyed her and the phone in her hand sharply

"OMG don't tell me you were crying huh pity pity ,huh huh Lucas is mine" she laughed once more

"Get out" I scowl through gritted teeth

Was surprised when she laughed again,,what in the devil is wrong with this girl ..

"I don't have time for your child's play, okay, just get out" I opened the water and dab another handful on my face before patting my face towel on it

"No no salvia, or its Silvia right silvia mmmm.." she slurred my name insultingly, at that my eyes went huge ...
What is this girl pulling at..

"Alright ,, how much do you want," she cocked her head to the side then pried  a strand of hair from her cheek

I frowned 
"how much do I want for what ....goshhh you are impossible"

 Feeling oddly deflated and not ready to start calling mum for a brain dim mak herb I was about moving towards the door when she screamed

"To get the hell out of my life and that of Lucas  ...see Mrs Tyson already explained all she hired you for, just tell me whatever amount you want ,,am willing to pay double ,..just get out of our lives"

"Say who" I raised my brows angrily ..

"Says me Matilda Hicks"

I moved towards her with my two hands inside my pant trousers ...

"Alright miss hicks if you do not want a dirty smack to wipe your make ups off your face I dare you yell at me once more ?, and about your cash, the orphanage would appreciate , please excuse me .."

I was about opening the door when she grab my arm ...

" tell me your price that's all I needed " she seethed 

At the sound of that i closed my eyes with all the effort to control my anger,, 

"Let go of me" I warned 

"Let go of my arm Matilda" I tapped her hands away before turning with rage 

Immediately I grab her by the neck she choked for breath ...

"Let go of me you monster" she screamed

"Do not toy with me Matilda, or am gonna break your bones, didn't Mrs Tyson warned you about the type of person I am"

"Let go of me" she coughed again but never am I listening ,,

" I barely even know you, yet you keep getting on my nerve, what kind of a bitch are you huh" I widened my eyes at her 

She struggled on my hold but I clenched my fist harder ,, the moment I lifted her off her foot her eyes went huge 

"Let go of me" she struggled to say ...

I searched her scared teary eyes as she struggled more 

"Is that the right word to say, huh, apologize for interrupting in someone else privacy now  "

"Let me go," she grounded, when I realised she was going out of breath

I released my hold from her and watched as she coughed and gasp with her hands rubbing her neck

"What kind of a monster are you huh, for assaulting the future wife of the Tyson's you are going to jail" she shouted

I was trying to meditate to what she just said, only to realise she already dial 911

"You piece of shit" I grab her phone, and immediately put an end to the call  

she laughed ..

" you are gonna be locked behind bars until my engagement is over you b*tch" she shouted 

"You are crazy," I slapped her phone to her chest 

"Yes I am crazy about Lucas and no one is gonna take him away from me, not even you "

I was about grabbing her by the hair when a knock was heard on the door....
I tapped her cheek lightly 

"You brat, I would let this go today,,, next you try this with me, you are a dead lady you got it "

When she wasn't replying, I pushed her on the forehead, whatever she was saying was unimportant afterwards ...
I was about opening the door when I stopped ...

"You know what I was planning on leaving before but for the treat you just made, I'll stay, and to your face Lucas is gonna tell you who he really wanted you scum bag"

I made my way out angrily almost hitting the ladies on the entrance...
I wipe my face clean while i walk through a corner, 

If only I could stay like I had threatened Matilda, but i know its time to leave, I have nothing whatsoever that's keeping me waiting in that house anymore, I just had to say my goodbyes to Lucas right ..or should I not, nooo I will
At first I was thinking of giving him a call but I decided to wait instead ...

I was battling with my thought and was about moving towards the elevator  only to see him walk out of the conference meeting with some older men and some younger ones who were more of his age or slightly older, I was fast to hide at a Corner not to make my visible though, he smile but i know him too well to realise his heart wasn't in it....

But the clearness and handsomeness he possessed made all the goosebumps in my body rose up to my face
...

It was clear the ladies around were whispering and gossiping on how good looking he was, of course he was deadly handsome, tall, built and ravishingly cute, all eyes was definitely on him...the sight of his pink lips as he speaks to the man beside him could lure any lady to beg him for a  kiss...darn!!I can't believe I was the one in possession of that for a while now
Gosh how much I love him...
He looked so perfect in that dark three piece suits, silk shirt, black tie and Italian shoes, the way he blend among with the also well suited men was as though he had been a CEO all his life ..

I was busy admiring him only  for my eyes to go huge  when I saw a lady adjusted her bra while pushing her boobs up ...she touch up on her lip gloss when she noticed they were coming she composed...

"Hi sire"

God my head sprang up in an attack mode, when she eyed him seductively, but it was such a funny sight cause non of the men paid any attention to her as they entered into the elevator...
I knew she did all that cause of Lucas, what a b*tch ...
I glared at her irritatedly as I move forward into the second elevator..

Lucas POV:

An hour later:

"Are we boring you sir"

I wanted to slug it out ,my whole emotions was breaking at the thought of Silvia keeping my mum plans from me,   ......I didn't feel like smiling,, I just wanted to hit on something hard or probably go for a profusely sweating race but  here i was pulling up a smile,,planning to execute and work on the company's affairs when I can't even solve my own personal issues ....
Mum and Matilda had walked up to that stage to announce the engagement I knew nothing about ,, and all I could do was watch and play along,

Seriously ....

"Sir are we boring you" Mr Cameron call much louder this time 

I glance up at the chief director and smile

Of course I was already getting boring ,maybe because it was the first time or probably cause my heart wasn't really with me , , it was if my head is gonna blow into smithereens at the files , double files, signing of checks, accounting schedules, , documents, our supposed competitors ,... from one conference meetings to another, executing plans and solutions to work it all out  ...
So far if I hadn't lost count the people I was to be responsible for was over 54million both home and abroad,  , the sound of that was enough to make my head pound all together I was a mess, tired, dizzy and so hungry ,

Guiltily I glanced at the other men who were sending their questioning brows at me ...don't they get tired, are they machines

"Sorry, no you guys are not ,, am listening" I faked another nervous smile

Heaven help me out of this , I poof out out a breath, and glance at my wrist watch .
Damn
My eyes went slightly huge when I realise its just 2.o clock..
Am finished ...I was bringing up suggestion and listening to what they were saying ,,another hour felt as if i was being staged in hell ...

As the men packed up the files I stood with pride while I shake hands with them  

I was smiling all the while as I sent them my pleasantries, suddenly it felt as if my life was about blowing off when the chief director spoke

"So sire, we are done here, shall we head to the next meeting"

My smile instantly faded and For a while I could only stare at him as if I was deaf and dump, 

"Sir" he called again

my legs were shaking profusely, now I understood why dad seldom speaks or supports mum whenever she nags at me ....
The hell.....Not that he didn't want to ....he was tired, that was it, he was tired , my God ...

"Sire are you with me, shall we go now"

I stare at him as if he had some kind of un known rashes on his face before nodding .....
I took a step and swallowed at my trembling legs, I was about taking another step when I staggered ...

"My God, sire are you okay"
I felt two to three strong arms supporting me up..

Did I just fall

Damn get the hell out of my sight all of you  ,,get out of my sight nowwwwww 
 I so much wish to scream that loud but couldn't 
I took my seat immediately they lifted me up

"Sire are you okay" Mr Dane said,  he was the chief financial officer whose accent and big grammars in the meeting almost choke me out of breath

I slick my hands through my hair and nodded

"Mr Cameron we can postpone the meeting right, for now I need some air please"

Even to my own ears, my words sounded stilted.

"Of course yes, you look tired, am gonna order your lunch to be brought down here" the chief director replied

At the sound of that my mouth watered ,,

"What would you like" he asked 

"Any thing, a cold roast beef sandwich ,with an orange juice would be fine"

immediately they left, I push the chair  beside me almost screaming a curse at them, I staggered forward and bounced back on my seat  before laying  down my head gently ..
I need some sleep, heaven help me, i need some sleep .....

With my lips slightly open I closed my lids ...

Silvia POV:

I waited around in the waiting room as instructed by his secretary who was a touching up on her make ups every minute ....
My god ,,seriously these ladies ....
My cold fury eyes was all over her as
I waited for like two hours, sitting, pacing and repeatedly glancing at my watch, 
When the men eventually came out, I sighed and walked past the secretary who was busy on her make ups..

Look at her bitchy face and catty eye lashes, 
What an ugly duckling

I swallowed with difficulty as I stepped to the front of his door , gently not to make the loudest notice i opened the door slowly ..
The first thing that nudges my form was the coziness of the full air conditioner.
Damn, the office was a Disney world Surrounded with glass that shows half of the country's skyscraper, 

"Skyscraper" I whispered, remembering how I always fantasize in making love on a balcony that shows all of this ,,the walls and floor were superb glistering sparkles with glowing  light ,, arts creatures and wall papers were seen all around,with jelly globes on the ceilings 
I noticed There was a lounging area right at the corner sparkling warm lightings to the office area ... Book shelves ,fill cabinets, spectacular desks and comfortable chairs,  ,, one set for small meetings and the other was right in the middle of the room for the CEO 
I smile at the sight of his head on his fashionable desk ,, his face was tossed to the side with his mouth slightly open, he looked so tired,  just look at him  ...

"Oh Lucas" 
I stood for a long moment just admiring him, his hand was on his neck as he breath slowly.. I almost burst into laugh when he muttered a curse 

Gosh, at that moment. I realised how much I really needed a man, not just any man ,, but this man in particular ,sometimes when I gazed into his eyes i felt some kind of connections that was un understandable apart from the fact that I loved him, it was a connection i felt whenever i stare at Jamie ...
I just couldn't explain the reason for such ..But the thrill of it is always so amazing...
Pity am about loosing him to another woman ....that wretch Matilda
 
I cleared my throat as I walked further into the room...

Probably at the crack tone of my voice He raised his head and rub a hand at the back of his neck trying  to work out some of the tension and fatigue ...
More in a shy manner he smile warmly at my sight ..

"Hey" 

"Hi" I replied

"Please seat" he gestured ...

A light laugh, bearing a blend of sarcasm preceded his words.

"Bet i am" he roll is eyes
 
"It was really stressful ,a real knock out in definition"

He made a positive motion with his head then self consciously reposition himself on the seat ..

My gaze was on his lips as he press on stuff on his laptop., I knew he was upset at me ,, but I hope he understands sooner that we are from two different world...
I stare at his full face to find the answers I had needed ...he was truly angry but with that he was in his element,
his eyes glittering with the pleasure of his art,
His lips gentle but still in concentration. There
was an eagerness in his quiet movements that told me of the joy i had for loving him.... The knowledge of joy was enough to ease my past pain away
...

"Lucas I ...I ....am leaving" I manage to say 

 He stopped on the laptop he was pressing before glaring at me with a frown ...

"What did you just say?"

"Am leaving Lucas," I said again without meeting with his eyes 
 
He angrily tossed his laptop aside and stood up, sliding his hand into the hip pocket of his pant trousers, he went to stand in front of the glass ...

"Lucas try to understand ....I have to go , you are getting engaged in four days time "

The ache within me grew even greater with each passing minute he stood there silently ,,even when his lunch had arrived he refused to turn ...

  In spite of everything
that had come before perhaps because of everything that had come before i would have gone to him willingly if he had held out his hand to me that I was the one  he loved but he didn't .. 
It met us both by shock... I understand him

I was battling with my thought 
When he turned ....never have i seen such raw, barely leashed fury as i saw now on those ruggedly handsome features,  those compelling black eyes was filled with nothing but pains and anger

"You don't the type of person I am Silvia" this time I frown up at him ..

He bolted towards His desk...I could only watch as he picked up a paper ...

"If you don't know Silvia, am someone who doesn't give a shit about this ,, I careless ,, and certainly I had lived my life the way I wanted to, i flirted ,,smoke, gilt, spend, traveled, I do whatever it is I want to and no one was able to change that ,  not until I met you Silvia ,, look at me "

He gestured as he stretched his two arms out to my view and all I could do was watch his red eyes as he speaks

"Because of you I was able to turn this way ,," he said through clenched teeth. ...

"you turn me into this Silvia ,,,it was when I met you that I knew what love is all about  ,...i was certainly interested and ready to do all the right things just to make the whole works proud  of me ....it was you , only you Silvia,,, you owe my life now  ,,what was I supposed to do if you leave me huh"

My Heart was pounding in last minute fears as he spoke...
 was I doing the right thing ...
i looked longingly at the man i loved and so wish everything happening  was in my favor ..
I stare intently into his eyes ...amazed that his whole anger only intensify his sexiness ,,His mouth look hard and cruel but so alluring..

His booming bass voice snapped me out of my love stuck daze ..

"I was angry at you for keeping  the whole marriage stuff from me ,, whatever happened out there met me by surprise... Would I have even gone there if I had known that was what you all planned for me ...huh"

"I was totally unaware of that too Lucas" I defended myself 

"But you knew about what my parents were planning yet you kept it secret huh ,please am begging you to stay for Me Silvia ,, fight for the special moments we spend together , let's tell them we love each other ,, without you by my side nothing is real Silvia ...how am I gonna prove it to them"

"Am sorry Lucas"

"Dammit Silvia," he rack his hand through his hair as he paced 

"I have to leave now " I stood and hurriedly raced towards the door. ..

"Silvia please" he raced after me ...

"Silvia don't leave me " he grab my hands before i could open the door ...

"Am not leaving you forever Lucas ,,you have my number we can always be friends"

I stare at the pain in his eyes, oh God He must have really loved me
The deep black abyss which drew me
in ....grew more overpowering as I stare at him yet I knew I had to pull back from it..

"That is it, I don't wanna be your friend but your man, your love, some one you will spend the rest of your life with ..the father to your other kids"

At the sound of that i swallowed with difficulty, but I knew with in me that i have to leave

"Am sorry Lucas"I released his hold from mine, hurried outside before shutting the door behind me...

 

Silvia POV:

"I hurt him"

I tossed my head sideways before blinking back tears 

"I hurt him"
He pleaded for me to stay, yet I left ...
I left him God ...what have I done
Trying so hard not to cry ...

 I decided to go spent some time out at a restaurant to clear my head ,, at least a cold drink would do to Clear my head a bit
Minutes 
later, i got down from the cab,, after glancing at the open space i sat at a shady table on the
open air awaiting the  arrival of my drink , so i decided to call Celine ,,its been such a long time I heard from her,, but it kept disconnecting ,, i just hope she's okay too...
I paid the waiter immediately he arrived with my drink, I was taking sips and glancing at my surroundings when he came again with a letter ..

"For you ma'am"

"For me  I mean I don't know anyone around here why should it be for me"

"Its from the man over there "

I glance at the direction he pointed at ,,only to see the back view of a nan clad in black hood and trousers.. he was walking,, of course he was walking out towards the other exit....

Shit ,, I stood up almost immediately and raced after him, 

"Hey wait" I screamed but he kept moving , 
I gasp when I jammed into the street he went into,,the city square was clad with citizens ,, a religious procession to be precise as they moved ...

Shit , I slipped into the crowd in an attempt to follow him but it was impossible..

"Excuse me " I said repeatedly as I skirted my way between , around ,, in and out ,,but it was useless,with in seconds I lost him completely...

Gasping for breath I walked back to the restaurant with a pounding heart...
I cant believe i almost forgot totally about him ,, ,,how did he knew I was here ...
Wait !!!was he stalking me ...i sat and hurriedly open the letter in my hands ..My eyes went huge at the content 

"Stay away from Lucas Tyson ,or else you are going down with him,"

"Who Is this person for crying out loud"

At that moment I knew I had to stay right beside him , to protect him from whomever it is that is after his life ...
I tore the paper angrily 

"Before you get him, then you have to  face me first "

I threw the papers to air 

"Am coming my love"

More in a wonder woman view i raced towards the street and gestured at a cab , with much eagerness of going back to Lucas I wasn't able to look vividly before I hopped in
....minutes later, I realise something wasn't right ...
With an alert in my kungfu sense, I stare sideways, only to realise the guys  were nothing but hoodlums...
The driver, the other at the passengers seat and the most ugly one at the back right beside me ..

He removed his gun and reached it  to the side of my stomach 

"You make any attempt, you die"
