Celine POV:

"Think am hungry so what did you prepare" he said softly after he released his lips from mine

"Its a fast food anyway, with the brown bread from a can, peanut butter, chocolate bits and peas

He glanced at the counter and stare back at me ...

"Looks yummy, mmmm"

"Yea I mashed the chocolate bits and peanut butter with a maple syrup to make a nourishing sandwich..."

" mmm interesting combination"  he smile...

"Shall we, am so hungry, god, if you are not careful, I could eat you raw celine" 

I laughed, I wasn't giving my replies yet as I study him, he was smiling, when last was it.. Its veen a long time I saw him smile this way, gosh am just so lucky to have him in my life .....

I laughed as he led me to the dinning the jokes he gauged made him all appealing,, it made him all fallible, er*tic and so manly ......

I took my seat and glanced up at him .. . I was smiling but the sudden seriousness on his face made me adjust on my seat...

"Nigel are you okay"

"I never intending not to disclose it to anyone but I'd to tell you"

....my eyes flew up to meet with his after he said those words..

"What!!! so you both shared the same dad, that means Lucas is your half bro" I raised my questioning brows

He nodded

Unsure of what to say next..i dropped my gaze to the plate he had set before me while he served the sandwich i'd prepared ...

"Since when have you known" I asked again

"Five years back"

"And you never thought of telling me before now"

"Oh?!!! to tell a girl whom I love so bad but knew she was still in love with my best friend right"

Guilt hit me in the throat at the sound of that .....of course it was the truth ,, I was never there for him, despite being with him all those years all I ever did was dreamt of Lucas..

"Am sorry nigel" I said softly

"I am sorry for bringing up the past too... so that was the main reason i bought this place ...

I  looked up at his unsmiling face....his expression was hardened as he poured an orange juice into his cup and mine, I just wanted to listen and not pity, but the fact was I felt pity for him, he must have been so lonely ...
I damn myself for not being there for him when he needed me

"Do you know all I ever thought about whenever I came down here" he said

I stare at him again and shook my head slowly

"All I ever thought about was to hurt Lucas, to crush him, I was jealous, I wanted to be in the position he was as the first son of the Tyson's, I was lonely and desperate Celine, I was thinking all sort of monstrous stuff, even the thought of murdering him had so many times came to my thought"

I gasped at him as he took a bite of his sandwich, he nodded at the taste, but when he glanced up ..my heart skipped when i realised his eyes was red ...

"Nice taste, the combination is dope celine"
He licked the Mable syrup  on his finger and smile,, but I knew the ones pulling on his face was a fake one...he  was in pain, I couldn't even touch my sandwich ,   all I did I was just stare up at him sadly

"He always avoided me cause I was a bastard, mum and himself had me out of few minutes of nice and satisfying s*x, .....so he made it so glaring that he never wanted to have anything to do with me ..."

"You're not a bastard nigel" I said softly

"no calls, no letters, no visits, nothing, all he did was sent me cash, celine is cash ever enough huh, what about a parent love, their presence and assurances" he shook his head to the side and cleared the tears on his face then widened his eyes back to what he was eating...

"Non of them, both mum and dad, non of them knew what I love and what I don't, not my best food, my best wear, what i love doing or my allergy"

He sniffled ,then dropped the sandwich on his hand

"Do you know what both of them said, mum said," am planning to keep the truth away from you forever Nigel"

He raised his brows and smile..a wide smile but a fake one to be precise 

and dad said ..."I want you to live as normally like you have when you haven't find out the truth Norman,"

He drank from his juice then meet with my eye

"so whenever he called Lucas in my presence I get jealous, i get mad, the thought of wanting to kill Lucas so his attention would be on me got me on the edge ..."

"gradually  I began to live in the Tyson's world cause
  then i thought its the only way my whole life could make some sense ....
I wanted all what Lucas has, I was envy of him ... He experienced love from his parent, I was jealous cause I did think i also  deserved it, I was also a Tyson .

I was swabbed at the moisture of his face almost hurriedly I jerked my chair aside and moved right towards him to wrap his head on my belly ...

"Nigel, am so sorry"

Gritting his teeth hard .....He hugged me tight as he tried to hold back his tears,, his arms was wrapped around me nestling against my hips and butt ..I couldn't ignore the way my body reacted to his touch ...i took a breath that was rife with the scent of his hair ...i was his now and I had to be there ... I caressed his hair and strong arms....i was so glad he let out his pains..this was unlike of nigel..

Rather I felt a sense of satisfaction that he'd started trusting me, finally I was here right by his side...
To love him through hard and happy times

Minutes later he took my hands and kissed it

"Am sorry for breaking down in front of you like that Celine ,it's just so embarrassing,,"

"there is nothing to be embarrassed for mmm, you'll be fine, am here now okay"

He finished his break fast before i do ..after we rested I stood up and carried our plate to the kitchen ...

"Come here my love" I Said

I took his hands and led him to his guitar which was neatly covered at the corner of the room...

Without looking at him I moved towards it ...

"Hope its not what am thinking cause am not that good in playing that" he gave me a facetious look

I bit my lips and smile ...

"Please seat while I entertain you sire" I gestured my hand...

He pinched the bridge of his nose and said almost laughing ...

"Celine, really, ...."

"I insisted my lord" I bowed

"Gosh you are such a rugged girl look at you"

Nigel laughed and took his seat, then stare at me as if I was about displaying some kind of magic..
I wrapped the guitar around my neck
sat down and took a one handed tone ...

"One " I cleared my tone and all he did was smile, he looked so handsome heaven am just trying to make up for all those years ..

i noticed immediately he heard my voice, his face went unsmiling, I smile and stare deeply into his eyes but no amount of compression could distort the images and emotion that over took his face ....
I almost laughed when i stared down at his shorts ...

I pressed on the strings again and started

The next I heard was a thunderous clap as I pull off the guitar

"twice a week classes for some months when I was in college," I roll my eyes

"Wao What I just heard now proves that you are really talented Celine, looking forward In hearing your own song, promise me you will write a song one day mmmm, we should invest in your voice and talent, I do not want you keeping that "

"Alright i promise" I whispered

He moved towards me and frame his hand on my face, my eyes went straight to the strong line of his cheeks, his nose and his chin and finally into his eyes ...

"I love you Nigel Norman"

"And I love you more Celine evans"

He inched closer and kissed me on the cheek ...

"We should start preparing okay, go pack your stuffs, "

"Alright honey" i said softly...

I was about moving towards the corner when he called to me ....

"Celine"

"Yes"....

" thank you for the song, it was really helpful,,it calmed my heart"....

"You are welcome"

and as I opened the door to my closet all i could only hope for was the lord to give me the strength to face the next wrath cause I was surprised I wasn't that scared anymore maybe because I was able to face this first with nigel ...

the fact that he loved me was able to make him forgive me, I just hope the same thing applies to Silvia

"Am ready to face her and everyone" I whispered the moment I started packing my stuff back into my bag

Lucas POV:

The thought of her leaving me like this held paralyzed for a while...
I took a reversed step ,I was used to ladies reaching for me instead but what Silvia just did was a tough one
I stood there for a moment not wanting to believe it

"Did she just left me, ???"

The tie on my neck suddenly seems all choking,

Gwak...huh ...

I released to knot with fast forward before gulping for air  ...I could feel the beating of my heart and rushing of blood as it raised with high speed..

The entire suit itself seemed all constricting, I had expected a different response ...the need for her to reach for me and fight for our love... The need for her to stay with me right here by my side ...
The thought of her not loving me the way I do  sends a trigger of hurt and pain swirling in my chest..

I gasped out and staggered, I was there racking my hair and looking into space like a moron ...
This isn't happening ...
A woman has never rejected me in my whole life, much less some one I confessed I was in love with .....

What have you done to me Silvia??

I gritted my teeth hard and rack more on my hair ...

"Oh my God Sir are you okay" my eyes swung to Mr Cameron worried glance only to realise I was already on the floor, one of my kneels was up with my hand resting on it ,, and my other  holding intently to my trembling leg ...
I didn't remember ever falling...

this was how much she was able to do to me

"Sire are you okay" he asked again

I boobed my head in a slow nod while I keep struggling to hold back my tears ,,

"Sir you've gat to stand up" he said softly ...
Whatever Mr Cameron was saying went unheeded  ....I just wanted her here, the need for her to reach for me with the desire, love and passion I always see in her eyes got my body disrupted...

I know coupled with been tired I have never felt so empty in my entire life..
I wish I had fainted

"Sir you've gat to stand up,"

"She did this Mr Cameron ,,she left me"

"You've gat to take it easy sire"

Immediately Mr Cameron supported me on my trembling foot he pulled me closer for a brief hug,

"I knew you weren't that pleased with your mums public announcements but you've gat to take it with ease Sir"

I walked slowly towards my seat, rested back then stare up at him

"She couldn't fight for our love, is a mere public announcement ever enough for her to leave me huh.."

"Am sorry sire, you must have really loved her,"

" very much Mr Cameron, very much "

"Don't feel too bad, Mr Tyson, if you truly loved her, fight for her instead mmm, who is in your heart matters, not many women has the heart as she to reject fighting for someone as good looking as you are"

Wait what he just said actually make some sense, I bit my lips and held my eyes silently with his at first, then projecting back to the message ....To fight for her ...

"Thanks Mr cameron"

Of course her type was rare, maybe that was why I kept loving her more and more

"You are welcome,  and about the three other meetings I realised you were tired so its been postpone .."

"thanks," I pick up a pencil and started rolling it in between my finger

I glare up at him sharply from the pencil

When last have I seen that quiet jerk,

I smile softly

"Alright thanks, send him in"

He was about closing the door behind him when my secretary walked in, did i still remember her name ...

Something like anemia or whatever ...

"Hi Sir," she popped her hips seductively along with her teeth biting her lips  ...her catty eye lashes was blinking rapidly as though it would fall at any moment ...

She frowns rather looking disappointed, I stare at her exposed boobs and sexy body for a while and frowned ...

I hissed,

She stare down at the desk phone and back at me ...

A look of embarrassment over took her face as she turn slowly ... She was about moving out when I stopped her

Can't they just behave like Silvia for once ...that is it no one can be like her

I stare up at Nigel laughing face and smile ...

"the f-ck is this nigel huh" I let loose a laugh, the fact was, the expression dancing on his face made it impossible for me to stay serious ...

He pinched the bridge of his nose at the edge of laughing

"You know what, I was like damn," he shook his head

"the tie on your neck almost got me racing off a cliff.... "

I grabbed him in fast forward speed and wrapped my arms around his neck ,i grinned hitting along a soft blow on his head ..

"You wanna start tauting me like Elliot and jack right,  huh"

He laughed and freed his neck ...

"Its the truth man, all of my notification, Instagram page, twitter, talk of it.... All is about Lucas Tyson, am so proud of you man, really "

"Seriously Nigel " I shook my head and stare briefly at the pretty lady who was shyly staring at Nigel probably waiting to be introduced,,  wait have I seen her somewhere ???

"The guys told me about that tears, man you are turning  into a freaking nut ...damn this isn't the Lucas I knew "

"Yeah am the best boy now thanks to Silvia" I smile in acknowledgement to the compliment

"And who the hell is Matilda..."

I moved towards the edge of my desk and seat, I glanced up to see Nigel's arms around the lady, she was indeed a beauty ...with that curvy shape of hers, truly he made the best choice but her face looked a lot familiar, wait I have certainly seen her somewhere

"Lucas meet Celine, my love and life "

I stare at her for a long moment trying to refrain on where I've seen her,, and
As she look up at me ...we shared a glance that was almost in a nearly tangible bond....

Where have i seen her

blood crept up my cheek the moment i remember ..
Of course I saw her on Silvia's phone ..
she was the Celine ....the same Celine whom the girls said couldn't make it that day, she was Silvia's friend ..
My eyes went slightly huge .... and how did she and Nigel ...

Wait, I think I have seen her some where else..

"Lucas"

"Hey man" I stare at Nigel who gestured with his head

I hung my head then stare back at her

"Hi Celine, you really look beautiful"

the moment I shake hands with her, I felt the sweat in her hand ...then a flash back of a girl in a red room nudges me, I closed my eyes briefly.

...

"Lucas" I opened to meet with Nigel's questioning brows ,,

"Are you okay" he asked

"Yea"

"Yea of course" with an heated face I turn and went ahead towards my lounging area to grab a wine....
I've met with her somewhere but where ???

Celine POV :

Fortunately for me when lucas came back with the wine, nigel and himself both launched into a ready conversation, I knew Nigel was giving me time to gather my wits as I settled into the seat  ..
I watched as they both shared his lunch although they had given me an offer to join but I rejected ...

I watched as the two talk ,eat and smile, the close look  I gave them made me realise they were indeed brothers and best of friends...
I stare at Nigel cool face and smile, the moment I stare at Lucas I exhale slowly...

As always I'd been stunned on entering his office and seeing him all looking more beautiful than he was before ...
Though I knew he wouldn't be wearing a  jean or some sweet shirt
None of my instincts had prepared me for this....
He was all fully suited along with a stripped tie and loafers...god what has Silvia done to change him to this extent ..
Those rugged and flirting looks on his face were no more, even the tattoo he'd drawn at the back of his neck then were gone, his ways of talking was more more innocent, gentle manly and matured,

If I wasn't here I would argued this isn't the Lucas  i  secretly went to the mansion to see back then, during those times I disguised as one of the maids, or pizza delivery, he was never as cool as this ...

"You don't like the wine" he asked softly ...

"No no am okay " I forced a smile and stare back at Nigel, who gave me a

"are you ready" look ...

I nodded at him

Nigel stare back at Lucas and cleared his tone and there my Heart began to pound in a speed race ...

"Lucas" Nigel called to him with a frown...

"Remember the night, at the rich guys club, four years back, "

He was only staring at Nigel unable to look at me as he continue ....

"the lady you told us Nathan ell,, that club guy was bringing for you ..."

"Nigel what are you talking about, Nathan brought a lot of ladies to me four years back how was I suppose to remember the ones I told you guys about...." He said more in a cursing tone at Nigel for bringing up that kind of topic in front of me ...

"Dammit were are your brains Lucas" Nigel hit his hand on the desk that caused both of us to flinch,

"Take it easy man"

They both stood on their feet while I remained stuck on the seat, the fact was I was ashamed of myself, if only I could rewind time so I could set things  right ...I have slept with two brothers, this is so embarrassing, I just wish I'd died ...my gaze fell on my laps where my fingers lay trembling

"It was her Nathan brought to you that night, Lucas  " Nigel clenched his teeth and gestured his hand at me

"it was her you screwed like a mad dog that night,"

At the sound of that ...I closed my eyes and sobbed softly ...I don't want to hear anymore ..I just want to die

"it was her you dumped that night Lucas ,,it was her you called a whore,,  it was her you got pregnant ,  dammit "

When Lucas wasn't replying ...Nigel cursed

"I can't believe this"...

He paced a little and turn back to him..

" Nigel please,, let it go " I pleaded softly my large round eye reveling my fear ...

"it was her you came to my apartment to meet that night Lucas, the girl you sprayed your cash on.... it was her ....Celine Evans, a friend to no other but the woman you are in love with dammit ..." Nigel struck his red eye at him ,

Every where went silent for a moment .. The only ones I could hear was the pounding of my heart and the pulse vibrating in my system .....

I stare up at Lucas only see his eyes go wide, his throat working convulsively and his lips wanting to form out a word as he opened them repeatedly ...
Of course he remembered

This time when he stared into my watery eyes he staggered ....

"She was that girl !!!!!"

"Jesus she was that......."

he bounced back on his chair and gasped out ....

"Am finished" he plowed his fingers through his hair...
