Attitude meets Arrogance - Episode 65

 

Jordan's POV
When I got to Ariana's room, I found Ciara lying on the bed mumbling something to Ariana...

"Where am I????" She tried to rise up only to fall back on the bed...

"You are in Ariana's room Ciara. Did you just go to a party and didn't invite me????" Sophie faked a sob...

"Where is Alpha???" The moment she asked that, I wanted to shake sanity back to her but Mason held me back, "Don't scold her..."

When I saw her waving at me and acting all cossy with Alpha, I knew she must have been drinking. So I informed Ariana and Sophie to grab her the moment she gets into the mansion and take her to Ariana's room or else granny and mom would be disappointed with her...

"How do we get her out of here??? Granny was suspicious when she saw you and I coming to Ariana's room in a hurry . I know she is very alert. The moment we begin heading upstairs, she will be on our neck..." Mason retorted, his hands on his waist...

"Calm......" Before I could say anything, granny knocked on the door..
"Kids are you okay????"

"Guys, what do we do????" I bit my nail...
"Let's hide her under the bed...." Sophie suggested...
"My wife is no rat...." I opposed...

"What do you suggest???" Mason yelled at me in a whisper....
"Let's hide her in the bathroom because if granny sees her like this she is dead..." I whispered...

"Baby shark dodo dodo baby shark dodo Ciara begun singing....

"Is she crazy???" Ariana cursed, stuffing a sock in Ciara's mouth....

"Let me take her to the bathroom before she gets us all into trouble...." I carried her bridal style into the bathroom and placed her in the bathtub...

"Is everything fine????" Mason asked the second I walked out of the bathroom...
"Yeah, open for granny now...." I replied and Mason nodded...

When granny got in, she found me giving business advice to two business dwarfs...
"And that how you make money..." I concluded..

"Why did you guys take long to open the door???" Granny asked with a straight face...

"I was giving them some business tips.." I retorted...
"But I thought I heard someone singing baby shark..." She raised her eyebrows in suspicion and everyone pointed at me..

"He was the one singing..." They said in unison...
"I love that song . Do you mind doing it for me???" Granny requested and who was I to refuse her???

Damn you Ciara, tomorrow I am gonna make you pay for this...

"Baby shark dodo dodo baby shark dodo.." I tried singing like her only to choke on my Saliva...I could see Ariana,Sophie and Mason tucking in their lips so as not to laugh...

"I will let you kids go back to whatever craziness you were doing...." Granny smiled and begun walking towards the door when Ciara screamed...

Sweet heavens, what kind of witchcraft is this???? What did we do in our past life to deserve this???

"Who screamed???" Granny turned around...
"It was Ariana..." Sophie pointed at her forcing her to scream...

"Are you sure there is nothing fishy going on????" She begun  looking around suspiciously...
"Granny it's time for that reality show, you love..." Mason quickly turned her around and walked her out of the room before she could say anything...

"That was close..." I sighed, "Take Ciara from the bathtub and I will check if the coast is clear..."

After I was sure, Mason had it all covered with granny I walked back to the room and found Ciara talking...

"Ariana, I am happy for you

. If you don't mind I will be the one to design and work on your wedding gown.. I promise on my life i will never come between you and Jaxon...I finally give him up..." She stuttered, her eyes welled up with tears...

"Thank you so much Ciara, Jaxon means the world to me..." Ariana replied excitedly..

"I....." Before Ciara could say something else, I took her in my arms...I didn't want her to say things, she would regret in the morning..

"Thank you ladies but that all for tonight..."

I carried her out of the room and silently tiptoed upstairs to our room...

"How dare you get drunk????" I gently placed her on the bed...

"Doesn't Alpha have a golden voice????" She laughed irritatingly..

Just when I thought I was done with Jaxon's drama, another one shows up...

"I ban you from seeing that loser of a musician. He doesn't even sing good songs...." I spoke between my closed teeth...

"Ciara, do you hear me???" I shook her gently...
"I wanna throw up!!!"
"You what???"  I helped her sit upright only for her to throw up all over my T-shirt...Some of the vomit even splashed on my face...

"What the heck Ciara????" I thundered but she just wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and went back to sleep...

I looked at my T-shirt and the stinky smell was enough to make me throw up too...Other men were blessed with submissive wives who wait for them to come home but look at me I am the one waits for my wife to come home...To make it worse she comes home either mad or drunk...

I disgustingly took the T-shirt off and had a long shower to wash the smell off...I can't believe she threw up on me...
When I got out of the bathroom, I covered her up   changed into a pair of sweatpants and a vest before getting to bed too..

I wanted to change her clothes but I didn't want her to wake up and start ranting I took advantage of her when she was drunk...

In the morning when I woke up, she wasn't sleeping beside me...I looked for her in the closet, bathroom, under the bed but she was nowhere to be found...

I shrugged and got into the bathroom, when I came out I found her all dressed up, sorting out some papers on the bed. 

The first thing I noticed was the short dress she was wearing..How could she show off my thighs like that????

"Where were you last night????" I asked in a commanding tone..

"Why do you care???" She replied rudely not even looking at me...

"Do you even know the trouble Ariana,Sophie,Mason and I went through so as granny wouldn't see you in that state????..." I yelled but she just shrugged...

"I will be working for Alpha from today for the next three months..." She explained dryly, constantly checking her phone..

"Were you with him last night???" I slapped the papers from her hand...

"What's wrong with you Jordan??? I was at Kendi Joy's place with Anita, Vicky, Lilian and Kendi..." She yelled at me..

A cold fear was taking control of my emotions. I didn't want another man close to my girl. Yes she drives me crazy but also completes me...

"Okay but you can wear a pair of jeans. Skinny jeans looks good on you. Its so chilly right now..." I told her but she just looked at me weirdly...

I walked into the closet, dressed up very quick, ransacked her side for something descent she could wear and came across a floral jumpsuit.

"Yes, atleast with this she would just show her hands and feet...." I nodded excitedly...

I walked back to the room only to find her laughing on the phone," Alpha you are already here..I will be down shortly..."

That pathetic singer in my house, what does he want with my wife???

"Ciara, I think this would look good on you. The dress doesn't suit you..." I furrowed my eyebrows at her with the jumpsuit on my shoulders...

"What's wrong with my dress??? I feel perfectly fine..." She scanned herself...How could I tell her the dress is so short and I don't want her wearing it...

"Alpha is waiting for me...I will go now..." She smiled..

"And the jumpsuit??? What about your car????" I was almost choking on my jealousy...
"He woke me up and volunteered to pick me up.

. I wouldn't have declined the offer.." She smiled mischievously, took her purse and the papers from the bed and swayed her hips out of the room....

Let me see what this Alpha is upto....I headed downstairs and bumped into mother.
"Son, aren't you going to take breakfast???"
"Mum, is Ciara's dress short???She should change right..."
"She looked okay to me. She is a career woman hence should dress like one. Don't get worked up.." She kissed me on the forehead and walked to the living room...

Seeing Ciara enjoying Alpha's company angered me to the core....
I walked to where they were and she was holding a bonquet red roses...

"So do you give all your employees roses or is it just my wife???" I asked almost in a spiteful whisper...
"Hey Jordan, it's nice to finally meet you.." He outstretched his hand and I looked at it for a while before shaking it..

"You know she is a married woman right??? So hands off my woman..." I sneered and I could notice Ciara looking down in embarrassment..

Sh*t, what am I doing??? I am clearly making a fool of myself..
" I was joking dude,"I faked a laugh,"You two have a fabulous day at work...." I faked a smile and walked to my car...

I could see how  happy she looked, poked his arm as she laughed and that made me jealous.
All she does with me is argue, throw up and cry...
When will I get to see that smile when she is with me???

I waited until they drove off the compound and followed them..I was to follow them upto where they were going but I received an important call from an client from China and had to head to the office...

In the meeting, I was restless...That guy has dated like every model I know even Emma. What if he allures my woman with that voice people call golden??? Just because he can sing, he thinks he is a god.. Foolish man..

"Mr Marcias, what do you think about the proposal???" The project manager snapped me back to reality...
"I need you in my office later with the whole proposal. I think we need to go over it again, meeting dismissed..." I just stood up and walked out of the boardroom..

Should I call Ciara??? But what will I tell her??? I hope that fool is not admiring her thighs now...

"I need black coffee now!!!!!" I snapped at the PA and slammed my door to my office...I tried understanding the proposal I was reading but Ciara had hijacked my mind...

I shut off my laptop and decided to check out her Instagram for new posts...It was true, she was with those girls..

Surprisingly she had joined the fearless and flawless club...Emma always told me of how every girl in the fashion world wished to join that group and just look my wife is in there...

All was going well until she posted a picture of her and Alpha...

I was shaking in rage.That guy wasn't even that good looking....
One fan had even the audacity to comment that they looked like a perfect couple.  That was my wife, he was talking about. They weren't perfect.

"Or are they??" I questioned myself the moment twenty people commented the same thing...

I needed to save my wife from his charm...
If only I didn't have a lot of meetings today...

After my last meeting, I looked at my watch and it was 6 pm...Ciara is probably done with work..

I asked for Alpha's address from Mason and drove there in a supersonic speed. Luckily I was there in time and found her ready to get into his car...

In her arms, she was holding this white teddy bear...
"Ciara, we need to go home...." I didn't wait for her reply. I just grabbed the teddy bear, threw it on his face.

"Don't gift my wife, I can afford to do that too.." I pointed at him and he just arched in eyebrows in confusion..

"Lets go or do you want me to carry you???" I snapped at Ciara who stood frozen with wide eyes.

I held her hand and dragged her to the car. I opened the door and she slid in. I buckled her seatbelt and slammed the door..I jogged to the other side and slid in too..
"I want you to quit that job...."
