Adele - Episode 22

 

It been three days since he has brought her to his so called ghana, but it felt like three months to adele for pretending to like him so as to gain his trust is draining her emotionally,  and the thought of not seeing her family again scares her the more, she played with the food in her plate as she reflects on good memories she had shared with Richard, tears pooled in her eyes when a particular memory of how he proposed came back to her. 
   Femi was most confident that adele will have to give up with time,  and nobody is coming to rescue her,  his love for her is already becoming more of an obsession, he can't imagine her not being together with him, he smiled has he dreams of the life they are going to have together.
  "Imagine how beautiful our kids will look like, it even high time i start practising the process" he smiled with evil intent at the thought has he strode to Adele's room .
  
 A knock on the door startled her out of her thoughts, she quickly adjust her cloths, "yes coming".  " hello my love, I came to keep you company, am sure you are feeling lonely and what kind of fiancee will I be if I don't make you comfortable. . uh" he leered at her, as he moves closer to her bed , his intentions written all over his face.
"Am fine really.

" Reallyy..you are fine, ok then am not fine and i need your c*resses to be fine"  he said as he tries to kiss her, but Adele slapped him as she quickly jumped from the bed.
"You crazy b*tch, why did you do that for, you are always acting and giving me this holier than thou attitude" he sneered.
"Am..amm.m..sorry, but i told you to leave me alone, please just let me be"  Adele begged him profusely . After glaring at her for a minute, a strained smile crack through his face.
"It alright my love, am sorry   I didn't realize you still very tired so am going to wait for you, and I promise to be gentle" he told her has he left.
  Adele breathe a sign of relief and quickly lock her door, she sat on the bed , her head bowed and cried silently praying that Richard will just find her, and also wondered if Ella has been found.

"Please don't tell me to be calm, I can't be calm, my wife to be is with a crazy obsessed guy and you have not done anything about it, and you are telling me to remain calm?" Richard glared furiously at the detective, pacing up and down.
"Sir , with all due respect we understand how you are feeling, and trust me when I say we are on top of our game, we have already contacted Ogun state force and we are making our move , we need to be sure that he can't escape, for any wrong move may be dangerous, so please calm down"
Richard shook the detectives hands and left the station, he drove to his mother's place with heavy heart, the only thing that makes him smile was the thought that his little girl is now safe.
He strode into the house tracing Ella's voice, he found Ella and his mother in the kitchen making sandwich, "how is my little angel doing" he ask with a strain smile,
"Daddyyy..have missed you" Ella jumped on her father's neck. "Daddy when are you going to bring aunty Adele home too" she ask innocently.
"Don't worry sweetie , I promise she will be with you shortly ..just continue to pray for her, OK?" . he gently explained.
"Daddy, is she still with bad men that took us?"
"Yes, darling, but try not to worry OK?, now go and play with your toys I want to talk to grandma" . he smiled has she skipped out of the room.
The moment she left, Richard's demeanor changed looking close to tears and frustrated, "oh my poor baby, come here" his mother wrapped him in a hug, "sweetie, she will be found , just hold on please" patting his back.
"Mum am tired, I can't even do anything for her, I hate feeling so help less and it affecting my daughter too, oh God I miss her mother"
"I know and another thing am sure of is that life has given you a second chance at love and you will not lose it again"
"Thanks ma, I feel much better already"
"Good, cos you are helping me to finish this sandwich, since you have chased my helper away" 
"OK ma." He smiled genuinely .
