Adele - Episode 20

 

Adele woke up to the sound of the moving vehicle, she was disoriented and was even more shocked when she noticed that it was Femi that was driving. 
"where are we going, where are you taking me ?  what are you doing ? "
she fired at him hysterically .
"relax darling we are going on a well deserved vacation,  and we are almost there baby " 
"where is there ?,  i can't believe you have me kidnapped twice,  you are evil and obssesed.  i gave you a chance and you took me for granted now it when am finally happy that is when you now decided that you want me,  what sort of person are you? "  by now adele was crying already. 
"Babe i will not Hurt you, and am sorry for taking you for granted, i promise you that this time it will be different, we are going to spend quality time together and you will realise how much you mean to me .  and as for where we are ?  we are in Ghana. " 
"What !!!, how can we be in Ghana, how long was i unconscious? Besides how did nobody noticed? am getting married very soon, please just let me go,  i promise i will not even implicate you.

"Now baby calm down, besides there is nothing impossible with money, and no you are not getting married to him" 
Femi choose not to answer her again, as he face the road,  he made a turning to a small cottage where he parked the car. 
  "Babe we are here, get down and lets go inside , i promise you that you will like the inside "  he tried to cajole Adèle. 
   "No am not getting down,  take me back to Nigeria or else i will scream and you will be arrested " 
   "Oh really  you will scream, i thought you will listen and do What i told you gently but since you want it the hard way then that is What you are getting "
Femi stuffed the chloroforme cloth in her mouth again as she was planning to shout, and she slept off again. 
  "This silly girl when will she ever learn that she is not going anywhere"  he murmured. 
He carried her into the house, after making sure nobody is watching him. 
The apartment is well furnished and stock up as well with food,  for he did not plan to leave any time soon,  Atleast what they have will Last them for nothing less than Two month, and he is So sure that , by that time adele would have accept her faith and so she can be left alone in the house

 He had to lie that they are in Ghana so she will not think help is coming anywhere soon, they are actually in a secluded area in Ogun state, and since she is half of the time unconscious through the journey it was easy for him to deceive her. He smiled at is own ingenuity , as he checked on sleeping Adele.

Later.... 
 
  Adele slowly woke up and found herself in a strange bed,  at first she thought she has been rescued but the moment she became fully awake the events of the day flashed on her mind and she remembered.  
 "God please when will this end,  why is all this happening to me ?,  when i thought i will be finally happy.  how will i escape femi's clutch,  i just hope Ella is not injured. "  
She was soloquizing, when femi Came in to the Room 
 "Babe how are you feeling now,  i hope much better,  see what i cooked for you and am sure you must be hungry by now"  he presents her with the Rice he prepared.  
 "am not hungry, thank you and besides i will not want you to poison me , just let me go, Richard will come"
 " I will never do that dear,  i love you too much, i just want to be with you that is all,  and forget the idea that someone is coming to save you, by now what he will be thinking is that you run away with me, after realizing you are in love with me,  i will drop this with you and leave may be when you calm down a bit we can have a sensible conversation ".
 " Richard will never believe that, if you think that , then you are a bigger fool than I thought, and am not getting back with you never, I will rather die first" she screamed at him.
He left the room after dropping the food on the bedside stool.  Soon the aroma of the meal filled the whole room and adele stomach keeps growling,  after what seems like ages to her,  she draw the stool to herself and starts eating with speed. 
After finishing with the meal,  she made up her mind not to oppose femi again,  but to win his trust over so that he will loosen his guard,  and she can finally make her move.  And if it means pretending fake affections for him, she will do it.

Femi was busy surfing the television channels when adele came out of her room carrying empty dishes into the kitchen,  he was happy that she ate the meal he prepared. 
"Do you like the food "?  he asked
"Yes Femi,  thank you, you always know how to prepare a good meal "  she cajoled him.   
"Good girl, i just need to put somethings in place and we will be married, soon".
Femi was so happy to see her being appreciative and thought within himself that staying with her will not be so hard after all. 
They sat together to watch the movie station he selected,  Adèle thinking of Richard and how she hope he has not given up on her,  Femi thinking of how he will win back her heart and finally making her to Forget Richard.
