My Adventure - Episode 12

My adventurous life in the university has yielded a very great fruit. at this time, my sweetheart was already carrying a pregnancy of two months, though all steps have been taken to get rid of the pregnancy since its of no need for us and it will also serve as the fourth pregnancy to be aborted but by this time the examination was in a fortnight time.
I didn’t know what to do, the super duper life of lovers began to shrink in my heart. The bone of bone couldn’t do anything on her own any more, to the extent that I was the one washing our clothes, preparing food and other house chores . By this time, our going out together has been a thing of the past because no one must know she is pregnant even our neighbours. During this period of pregnancy , she spent almost 20 hours of the day indoor doing nothing but sleeping.
My thinking faculty was then uncontrollable, because the time table for the exam has been released and most of my courses clashed with hers, because I have agreed to do the exams for both of us, during this period I spent more time in reading both my hand outs and hers, it wasn’t easy for me at all, as I was reading she will be complaining of back pain, I didn’t have any other things to do than to cater for her. At this apex of time, I started regretting falling to the adventurous life of campus in a very silly way but the convinction was still in me that I have really enjoyed myself to the fullest.

. Adeyemi’s course which is PHIL103 is my first exam and I must not fail it in any form. My girlfriend was also having one of the hardest courses in her faculty which is SMS101, basically the course was pure mathematics and I was not all that good at maths. I was just stressing my brain to catch up some formulae even though I didn’t know how to apply them.
The D day has finally come, I dressed up early in the morning so that I will be able to do both exams, to God be the glory I did the exam for her unknown to the invigilators that I came to impersonate and I also did mine to the best of my ability even though I couldn’t finish the exam. The examination period was still rolling on and now I have done four of my exams and six of hers without any problem.
It was quite unfortunate for me when I was about to write the last exam for my girlfriend that I was caught by one of the I.C.T worker when he discovered that I came to impersonate. The day was a red letter day. Before the winking of an eye I was taken to the security bus to join others that have committed such crime like mine. I started weeping as if I was a kid because I know the consequence of what I did.
A week after, the six of us were taken to the disciplinary committee in a gown, although I was the fifth person on the list and two of those that have gone before me has been suspended while the other two were rusticated. What is my fate? As I entered the hall in the midst of the committee, I started weeping although that would not reduce my punishment . After my allegation has been read to the ears of the committee, the chairman pronounced, ‘as the chairman of the disciplinary committee of this university, I thereby expel you from this institution for the offence of impersonating during the examination period. As I heard this, my head almost fell from my neck, I've disappointed myself, I've disappointed my family, I've disappointed my lineage, I've disappointed my town! Had I know, I would have face my studies and yield to the priceless advises I was given, I've learnt in a very hard way, which has truncated my destiny.
Focus once lost is rather hard to gain. If you are a fresher in the university or you are just leaving secondary school or seeking for admission, learn a lesson from my adventures. And if you are walking on the route of my adventures, it is better for you to think aright and remember your main and primary objective of going to the university. For those that never lost in the first place keep being focused and your desire will be yours.
