The night went well, Bayo had the chance to communicate more with Ada's parents. Mr. Ikechukwu kept giving cosmetic smiles any time his wife looked at him. It was time to leave and Ada chose to go with Bayo. Bayo was happy about everything but Ada knew her father wouldn't just let go of the the fact that Bayo is not in support of Biafra.
" I guess you were right" Bayo said breaking the silence after a long walk with Ada
" About what?"
" Your parents, they're friendly really, I totally enjoyed our conversation"
" I told you they were fun"
" But.." Bayo stopped as Ada's phone started ringing
" Hello dad" Ada said answering the phone
" Get back here now, immediately!!" Mr. Ikechukwu said hanging up his phone

" My dad he wants me back, I need to hurry" she said giving Bayo a peck

Back at the hotel, Ada's parents have been arguing about Bayo and Ada.
" You always wanted to satisfy your ego, you're not even listening to yourself, if he was an igbo boy, I would understand your pain, I don't like this thing you're doing now, I don't" Mrs . Ikechukwu kept trying to convince her husband
" This girl had always want to bring shame to this family, I won't accept any non-biafran, if it is love that is blinding her I will cut it off"
" So she should only love a biafran?"

. Ikechukwu stopped on hearing a knock on the door. She goes to the door and opened it then Ada came in
" Yes, sit down, have a sit" Mr. Ikechukwu said
" Daddy please, I..."
" Shut up!!" Mr. Ikechukwu stopped her angrily " Everything you have asked for in life, I have given to you and just this little thing I ask of you, you choose to rob.."
" Eh! Eh! Rob you of what? you always go crazy when this Biafra of a thing is mentioned. Leave that girl o.." Mrs. Ikechukwu said cutting in
" You call it a thing!! " Mr. Ikechukwu said turning to his wife angrily
" Daddy please, I beg of you. I truly understand what you're saying. Bayo is not in support of Biafra, yes! But he doesn't despise Biafrans, if you give him a chance, he'll understand and support it, please"
" Nonsense, Absolute rubbish. You cannot force a rat to eat grass. If it is love that carried you to him let that love carry you back. You and that boy is done" Mr. Ikechukwu said going into the room

Ada kept avoiding Bayo the next day. She didn't pick up his calls, she didn't call back either. Bayo was worried about her and he missed her, he wanted to be with her for a while before she left. He searched for her everywhere in college he knew she could be. He finally saw her when she was about leaving the school gate.
" Hey Ada, you didn't pick up my calls. I was worried about you I thought you had been kidnapped or something. Are you avoiding me?
" I'm really sorry Bayo, it's just.. My dad he.. I'm just so confused "
" What?!! What happened to him?!! "
" He threatened our relationship Bayo"
" What do you mean by that?"
" He said he doesn't want me seeing you, I tried explaining things to him he.."
" I don't want to hear more" Bayo said walking out angrily
" Bayo!! Please.. I tried.. God!!" Ada was so frustrated and in tears as she watched Bayo leave
