Unwavering Guts - Episode 13
Bayo and Ada had a fun time, they both played games together and Ada was so glad she took her mother's advice. It was late and Ada had to leave. She was worried that her mother would be mad at her.
Mrs. Ikechukwu had been worried about Ada and her husband will soon be back from work. She waited for more hours but still no sign of Ada. When the gate opened she rushed to the window to check if it was Ada but unfortunately for her it was her husband.
" Oh my God, I'm doomed, no, no I'm not 1, 2,3" She said trying to calm down
Mr . Ikechukwu walked in and he wasn't in a good mood.
" Welcome honey"
" Welcome" Mr. Ikechukwu said in a very low tone
" What happened? You're not looking okay at all, Is it stress?"
" The boys my supervisor called for the work did total rubbish!! And I was showing them the right thing to do and one of them had the guts to tell me I don't know my work. I would have killed him with my bare hands!! But you know it's the stupid supervisor. Now I need a new supervisor and I'm going to spend money again!! Unnecessarily, just.. "
" It's okay please, calm down please, you don't want your blood pressure to go high again, just go upstairs and take your bath, I've prepared your best meal " she said trying to put a smile on his face which worked
" You know one of the greatest blessing God has given me is you, you really know how to make me happy

. By the way where is.. " he stopped, hearing his phone ringing " Hello? Yes I'm Mr. Ikechukwu, What nonsense!! My daughter didn't leave my house" he said checking the cars outside through the window and one of his car was missing " Jesus christ!! I'll get there" he said hanging up the call
" What's the problem?"
" Ada left this house?!!"
" She..."
" Chei!!" he said running out with his car keys and leaving with one of his car
Mrs. Ikechukwu grabbed her own car keys and followed her husband distress fully

Ada had an accident when she was going home. Bayo was the first person to be called to the hospital because he had been calling her. Bayo got to the hospital as fast as he could. After some hours Ada's parents came, rushing into the hospital. One of the doctors called their attention.
" Excuse me sir, Are you Mr. Ikechukwu?"
" Yes I am, please where's my daughte?!!"
" Follow me"
Mr. Ikechukwu and his wife followed the doctor still in shock about the accident and suspense of the well-being of their daughter. Her mother kept shouting and crying.
" Doctor, is she alive?!! Was it a fatal accident?!! Is she undergoing treatment?!! I hope.." Mr. Ikechukwu was worried
" Calm down sir, your daughter is alive, just a cut on her head, a witness said she lost control on the road and got hit by a tree she's lucky her airbags were functioning. She already had her treatments, a young man paid her billsc"
" A young man?!!"
They got to the room which Ada was
" Sir please, if you go in do not panic, I'm pretty sure your daughter don't need that now plus she's having a little headache"
" We understand" Mr. Ikechukwu said going into the room
Mr. Ikechukwu was angry when he got in and saw Bayo cuddling Ada's head
" You?!! Again?!! Get out from here!! Get out, immediately" He said pointing at Bayo who left the room in shame following his orders
" Dad please he's the reason I'm alive, he paid my bills" Ada said still in pain
" Ikechukwu please, I thought you heard what the doctor said? Ada, my dear what happened?" Mrs. Ikechukwu pleaded
" I was just coming back from his house..."
" You!!... You went.." Mr. Ikechukwu couldn't say a word again and he collapsed.
Bayo who was outside rushed in when he heard shouting for help, he saw Mr. Ikechukwu had collapsed and he ran out to call the doctor. Ada who couldn't comprehend the shock and the shouting also fainted
