Prosper's pov:
i think i have a crush on tessy. I have known her since jss 1 but i
have never really gotten to know her. Maybe that's because we are so
different. She is intelligent and gentle while i am, well i am quite
the opposite. I could be intelligent if i want to but why bother?.
After yesterday's event, i couldn't stop thinking about her. She was
hysterical during the fight yesterday and i felt like i should console
her,r which is strange for me . But i did. I went to her and she just
hugged me. That hug is still imprinted on my brain. So, today, i made
sure to talk to her. She seems down though. But anyways, i was able to
walk with her and her sister and this is where everything went wrong.
When we walked out of the school gate, a man was waiting for tessy. He
looked familiar and when he saw me, his eyes showed fear which is
ridiculous. Why would anyone be afraid of me?. The strange guy grabbed
tessy and her sister into his car and zoom off. I stood there
wondering where i had seen him before but i came up with nothing. I
wouldn't have allowed him take tessy if i didn't think she knew him
but by their interaction, i think she knew him. I went home still
thinking about that weird man and that's when it hit me

. I have seen
that man here, in this house. He works for my father. I think his name
is Mr john or so. I go upstairs to my dad's room to ask him if Mr john
has a daughter so my mind would be at peace that tessy is safe.
"Mr john doesn't have a daughter, why are you curious about that" he said.
"he doesn't?. Are you sure?"i ask
"yes son"
"but i saw him at my school--"
"what?! You saw Mr john at your school?"
"uh yea, i thought it was him but the man i saw was with a girl my
age. Maybe they just look alike" i say. My father looked deep in
thought
"okay son, go downstairs i need to make a call" he said and i
obediently went out. I was almost at my room when i remembered the
message i was asked to relay to my dad about sponsoring an event in
school so i went back towards his room and that's when i heard my
father talking on his phone.
"Mr john is not in lagos?!,"silence "my son said he saw him at his
school with his daughter."silence again"No i trust him, he wouldn't
betray me."
"You saw him in my office yesterday taking photos?. Well why didn't
you tell me?." another silence
"well i think he has to die. Make it look like an accident. Oh and
make sure he dies with his family" my father says and everything goes
silent.
I tiptoed back to my room to avoid being caught eavesdropping. I had
exposed Mr john ignorantly and now he's gonna get killed!.

. I decided
to take my bike and find him to inform him of my dad's evil plan. I
never knew my dad was this evil.
I saw his 4matic being chased and i followed. He lost the 4matic when
he took a sudden bend into a link road but i was able to stay on his
tail. And i watched the accident happen. I couldn't do anything when
the car fell off the bridge into the river but atleast i was able to
get tessy out.
I boarded a taxi and took her to a hospital at the outskirt of town
where my dad won't find her. I hope he thinks they all died in the
car. I go back to the room tessy is i find her conscious. The first
thing is ask me is: where is olivia?. I don't even know who she is
talking about. Maybe its her sister. Was she in the car with them?

Mr John really fucked up. He would have jailed his boss before going for his family
