The Twist - Episode 35

 

The Rolls Royce was 15 meters away from the gate when the blue Honda CRV appeared from the bend and drove straight towards the Rolls.

It swerved and stopped right in front of the Rolls Royce with screeching of tyres; its doors flew open as 3 gun men spilled out from the car.

Amaka screamed as one of the gun men advanced towards the Rolls Royce with his gun.

Suddenly Bashir appeared from the gate and opened fire on the thugs.

The lad approaching the Rolls was tore into shreds as Bashir's Sub machine gun punched gaping holes on his body.

Romeo dove for cover and replied almost immediately with his A.K 47.

The driver of the CRV rolled behind the Honda and also open up with his own machine gun.

Bashir quickly retreated back into the house as bullets zipped past him from all corners.

Romeo did not give him chance to reorganize himself, he continued shooting as he advanced towards the gate; shattering glasses and marbles.

The driver of the CRV saw Amaka Struggling to get out of the Rolls and shot at the car.

"Stop! Do you want to damage the price? Take her in!"

Romeo yelled from his hiding place.

He was crouching behind the gate with his gun ready; waiting for Bashir to show up. He looked what he was.

A menacing, ruthless criminal who would stop at nothing until he archive his aim.

Bashir waited for 15 nerve chilling seconds at the back yard where he dodged and opened another shot at the crouching toes behind the gate.

Romeo replied him simultaneously with another ear deafening chatter from his heavy caliber A.K 47 and moved into the compound, still shooting at intervals.

He advanced towards the big mansion in a crouching run and headed right into the backyard where the shots came from.

Bashir was badly shaken.

He have never faced such a dangerous and vicious shoot out in his life.

It suddenly downed on him his attacker will never stop until he is eliminated.

His shooting and sudden approach into the compound testified to that.

And his gun was no match for this criminal's heavy caliber A.K 47.

He need to play it smart with these people or else he will end up a dead man.

Amidst the shooting he heard a child's voice.

Is that the voice of Chidimma? He made a quick decision to scaled the fence in one swift leap and landed on the other side of the fence.

The next house will bring him right in front of the kiosk where he bought cigarette a few minutes ago.

That will give him a clear view to shoot and also block them from leaving.

Romeo was on time to see him as he jumped over the fence and quickly rushed back to the gate to complete the mission.

From the Junkie's POV.

When Romeo rushed into the compound; shooting like a maniac at the security guard, the driver of the CRV calmly walked up to the fat lady in the Rolls Royce.

She was still screaming and tugging at her dress frantically which got entangled with the seat belt and the gear lever during her hurry to run away.

The Junkie was still in the car, paralyzed with fear.

The sudden shoot out and the instant death of Scarface had sent fear all over him.

He could not make a single move.

He watched the driver as he grabbed the lady's hair, a little girl quickly ran out of the house shouting.

"Leave my mummy!"

She grabbed the driver by the hand and bite him.

The drive swung round and the Junkie screamed with horror as the driver smashed the butt of his gun on the child's face.

The fat lady went berserk; she attacked the driver like a mad woman and the driver equally knocked her out with one single blow from the butt of his gun.

He yanked the lady's dress with such force that half of it tore away.

With surprising strength that terrified the Junkie; the driver hurled the fat lady on his shoulder, carried her as if he weigh next to nothing and dumped her right on top of the Junkie in the back seat.

Romeo emerged from the house and glanced indifferently at the bleeding child that lay unconscious near the Rolls.

The car reared to life; startling the junkie.

The driver was already on the driving wheel
