*** 7:00PM, ACCRA,GHANA. Year -1968.

Somewhere in the tiny village of Oyarifa, at the outskirts of the Greater Accra region... *Darkness loomed over the skies, engulfing any object in it's wake.

The sky rumbled with heavy rains yet to be released onto the lands to begin it's cycle yet again.

It was pitch black.

The only source of light was the bright full moon hanging in the skies.

A beautiful cottage that stood out amongst the rest of the cottages, stood proudly in the middle of the vast compound.

A coconut tree few metres away stood tall and unshaken,serving as shade during the day and food during the night.

Underneath the coconut tree, sat the only daughter of the village's best hunter.

Annamarie Quaye could be described as the epitome of beauty.

God's perfect creation.

A fallen angel, some called her.. Unlike her mother, Annamarie had beautiful glowing skin that miraculously stood out even in the dark.. The bright multicoloured wrapper made into a tiny skirt that stopped just below her knees,gave away her long smooth legs.

Her dark thick hair that was braided was held tightly on top her head, revealing every contour of her oval shaped face.

Her eyes,that seemed to charm every man in her way.

That tiny nose that wrinkled anytime she got angry and those bright Cupid shaped lips that seemed to have an endless smile plastered on her lips was captivating, enchanting,alluring.

Even now, as she sat beneath the coconut tree cleaning the last of the cooking untensils and plates she had just washed, the same endless smile was still on her lips.. Her melodious voice blended with the cool breeze as she packed all the utensils into the big basil and wiped her wet hands on her wrapper.

She turns towards their hut from where she could see her mother cracking palm nuts.

"Mama! It's almost time. I'm done with all my chores,can I leave?"

She shouts excitedly.

Her mother stops what she was doing to stare at her daughter,shaking her head.

"You know the rule young lady!"

"Yes mother! 'Don't be late, return on time!'"

She repeated the rule her mother had set anytime she went out.

Without further ado, Annamarie raced out of the compound, pushing the bamboo gate out of her way, her legs sprinting as she run.

She was giddy. Excited.

Today,after five years,her four childhood best friends were returning from the city after completing their studies.

She couldn't wait to see how they looked now.

They must have all grown handsome by now.

And then after their reunion,maybe they'll get to sit around a bonfire and play games like they used to before they left the village.

Afterall, it was the full moon.

She giggles.

With beads of sweat trickling down her forehead, she finally stopped and stared around at the empty space of land.

No man's land, as it was normally called was a large area of vacant land where anyone and everyone could hold their activities without having to answer to any owner.

Annamarie's joy knew no bounds when she spotted the familiar bare land in the middle of green grass where logs had been arranged and was already burning.

Around the bonfire were none other than her best friends, all dressed up in modern cloths she used to see on the only television in their village which was brought out to the village square occasionally.

The fire illuminated their faces. She gasps.

And then began to run towards them.

"Anthony!"

She squeals crushing the first guy into a hug.

"Felix! Bryan!"

She squeals again, hugging the second and third guy.

When she pulls away, she stares at the last guy.

Eugene.

He had always been her crush but never bothered to tell him after she learned he was going to the city.

After all,he was going to meet pretty city girls and wouldn't want a village girl like her.

Eugene pockets his hands and eyes her up and down.

"You've grown into a very beautiful woman Anna. You've always been beautiful"

he smiles. Annamarie blushes at his compliment suddenly feeling self conscious as she begins to tug at her wrapper skirt.

"Thank you".

They stare at each other.

"Oh for heavens sake! We came home to see our little best friend after five years, can we at least have some fun?"

Felix screams. Anna scowls at him.

"I'm no longer little."

"Yeah yeah whatever! Shall we have some fun?"

"How about we play a different game today"

Bryan asks

"Truth or Dare"

Eugene says eyeing Anna.

"Truth or dare it is! Come!"

Felix nudges them all and makes them.sit in circle surrounding the bonfire while Anthony pulls out a box of crispy little stuff they brought from the city which she later learned was called biscuits and a colourful yellowish water they called juice.

Spreading a plate of biscuit in front of each person, they started the game.

"Truth or dare Anthony?"

It was Felix.

"Dare"

"I dare you to kiss my ass"

Anthony scowls at Felix while Annamarie bursts into laughter.

"No way man! Your ass stinks! Gross"

"Fine. Then pay me a hundred CEDI's"

"What the hell man. You cheating!"

"Either you kiss my ass or you pay"

Felix shrugs

"Fine. I'll pay you when we return"

Anthony grumbles. While the game went on, Annamarie's gaze was fixed on Eugene.

He truly had grown from a teenage boy into a handsome man.

Noticing her gaze on his, Eugene smirks.

"Truth or dare Anna?"

He asks.

"Umm.. Truth?"

"Are you a virgin?"

"What's a Virgin.I haven't been to school like you. I stopped at primary"

"A virgin is someone who...um...hasn't..well have you slept with a boy and done the deed?"

It was Felix. Her eyes widen

"No! I'm a virgin! Mother says I should never let a boy see my pant until they pay my bride price!"

"You sure? You still a virgin?"

"Yes"

All four boys exchange glances as they communicate with their eyes.

9:00PM.

"I've missed you guys so much!"

Anna gushed.. They were walking her home now with Anna walking in front playing with flower petals while the boys walked behind.

Their gazes lingered on Anna's waist as it shook graciously with each step.

Her generous behind leaving them salivating.

Suddenly they grew hungry.

Hungry for her.

"Can't believe no one's ever popped her cherry before"

Eugene whispers

"Damn! Just look at that ass, long legs, smooth skin. F*ck! Anna's a woman now"

"Damn man! That body surpasses all those city girls"

Eugene licks his lips.

"And you still think with a body like that, she's still a virgin?"

"One way to find out"

Eugene grins as they quicken their steps to catch up with her.

They were near an uncompleted building now.

Anna was still going on talking and talking until she felt arms around her waist.

She turns.

It was Eugene.

She blushes immediately.

Taking that as his cue, Eugene grips her waist tighter and begins to push her backwards till her back hit the wall.

"Eugene what.."

"Shh... You want me don't you?"

Not understanding the double meaning behind his words, she blushes again, thinking he finally liked her.

"That blush tells me all because damn I want you too"

"I've waited so long to...."

She gasps when Eugene attacks her neck with hungry kisses.. Suddenly she was alarmed..

"What are you doing? Stop! Mother says this is bad!"

She tries pushing him off only for his grip to tighten.

"It'll be quick Anna. You'll enjoy it, I promise"

he growls, reaching out to grip her the material serving as a top and rips it, letting her br*asts spring out.. Wearing bra wasn't common in their village.

"Sweet, so soft"

She screams more when he grabs her br*asts, squeezing like a s*x-crazed animal.

"Eugene please no.. Don't!"

She pleads, tears blinding her.

"Don't be stubborn Annamarie. Let me worship you"

Eugene growls again. With all her might, Anna pushes him harshly making him stumble back.. Eugene stares at her, angry.. He lifts his hand and slaps her hard.

She falls.

Anna stares at the man she called her best friend and secret crush.

She was shaken.. Eugene kneels beside her, grabs her wrapper skirt and tears it apart.

She was naked.

Eugene grips her thighs, digging his nails into her thighs and then spreads her legs apart forcefully.. Anna screams..
