Sister's Love - Episode 21

Lucy woke up and tried to look around her and fathom what was going on. It was around 5:30am and everywhere was still and silent as she tried to get off the bed realising that she was the hospital, she felt a very sharp pain in her abdomen and cried out in pain . She recollected the past events and cursed under her breathe as she felt a very sharp pain and cried more. Just then the door opened and Maggie walked in. 

You can easily tell that she hasn't had a wink ofsleep as it was written allover her face. Its okay Lucy don't try to get up remember you're wounded and you need to rest she said placing the foodflask she came with on the table beside Lucy's bed as she helped her lay back.

How are you feeling Lucy asked looking at Maggie's pale face. Look here Lucy its you whose sick here not the other way round so please I want you to concentrate on healing first before acting mother hen again

. She said rubbing the back of Lucy's hand. 

She helped Lucy into the bathroom,and later after refreshing she helped her back onto the bed and forced her to eat some food. In fact she fed her while Lucy kept winning. She had not eaten since yesterday and Maggie thought her sister is suffering because of her and so its her responsibility to look after her.

Do you know who did this to me? She asked almost in a whisper fighting back the tears that were threatening to come anytime soon. Sam left to look into the matter. I called him before coming here and he said he has some traces bit he will tell me in details after finding out the Truth because for now his not sure. Maggie held her hand in hers and squeezed it a little as a way of assuring her sister.

Later the doctor came and checked on her and tended to her wounds ,gave her some painkillers and left. MrsCollin came later and joined them ,she assured them that everything will be alright. She's really a mother figure in their lives and they're both very grateful.

SOMEWHERE IN BETSEY TRAVELLERS HOTEL

So how did it go boys ? A man whose face is turned towards the wall with a hood said. His voice was hoarse and his tone was that of a no nonsense person. All is well sir one of the Twp men standing behind him said quickly as if he was afraid he might be punished for not answering on time. The target was dealt with but we are afraid the police is on the case and Opio disappeared yesterday night as we couldn't reach him afterwards and he wasn't at his place until now. The other man added. He was leaning against the wall and had the look which would send shivers down your spine. He was also very black like the night and his nose was the biggest feature on his face. 

And how is Opio's disappearance a problem here? The hooded guy barked. I told him to disappear and its for the best. How about the CCTV? He asked now turning to face them but he had a mask covering his face leaving just small holes for his eyes and mouth.

We think Opio dealt with them because we couldn't find the footage you talked about this morning. They answered in unison. The hooded guy let out a hearty laugh rubbing his stomach before throwing abig brown envelope to the two men standing before him. I think we never meet again he said before locking his door as the two men moved out of the room.

MEANWHILE ON THE SAME HOTEL 

 If you think you're playing smart better say goodbye to your wife and kids first. Sam said to the man they had kidnapped from Serena. Am not lying its this hotel I met him. He might be telling the truth Ronnie said we just have to confirm whether the bastard is still here. They checked into the hotel and insisted on getting one room for three. As they were ascending the stairs they bumped into two guys who looked creepy. They were whispering to each other although they were the only ones in the corridor. One of the guys had said something and pointed to room 514 which is opposite room 614 meant for Sam and the rest. 

They bypassed them without a word and locked theirdoor. Those guys look suspicious Ronnie and Sam both said at once before bursting into laughter. They started making plans on how to search everyone in the hotel but something caught their attention. Creepy voices were heard in the room opposite theirs. I think those guys are murderers let's go and check out what's happening. Sam said. No Sam better we concentrate on what brought us here. 

They had called some officers who were downstairs just incase. The noise in opposite room kept which forced them to come out and check but the door was locked and a dont disturb note hanging. It sounded like people fighting but the music was loud and couldn't perceive what's really going on. 

After sometime the music died down and a voice calling for help was heard. They rushed to room and found some hotel attendants were there already helping the man up . He was beaten and his room ransacked.

. Get them thieves they took all my money he said amidst tears and Sam recognized his voice. He went closer to satisfy his curiosity and yes it was Mark. He took Ronnie aside and told him. Ronnie stayed behind pretending to console him as Sam quickly fetched the officers. 

You're under arrest Mr mark for attempting murder of miss Lucy Jacobs,kidnapping and killing of innocentgirls in alliance with your father. Everything you say may be used against you so better come with us . 

He looked around and spotted Sam who was grinning like a boy promised chocolate. He fell on his knees holding tight Sam's trousers. AM SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE ME.  His face was disfigured and he was bleeding from the recent incident. LOOK AT ME AND HAVE MERCY TELL THEM TO LET ME GO I WILL NEVER COME NEAR LUCY AGAIN. I PROMISE WITH MY LIFE. He cried
