Sister's Love - Episode 20

 

The guys with the guns had masks on their faces and immediately left the scene. Everyone was just screaming and trust me its irritating. A woman has been shot a voice say amidst the screams as we all rushed to see who was hurt. Lucy I screamed as I forced my way to wherey sister lay in the pool of her own blood. Call the ambulance I shouted angrily not telling anyone in particular . We arrived the hospital and she was taken straight away to the operation room. Thanks to Sam who paid half of the money on arrival. Hospitals now days care more about money than people's lives. You pay half before they attend to your patient. Sam called the Collins and told them about the happenings and begged them to come over to stay with me at the hospital. He decided to go back to check the CCTV cameras and security details because it doesn't look like a coincidence that only Lucy was shot in a room with more than twenty people.

Mrs Collins and Angela arrived in no time and we all sat in the waiting area. All our efforts to stop nurses who were coming out of the room seemed fruitless as no one gave us any details. We waited for two hours but to me it felt like two days if not months until the doctor walked out towards us. Who is the patient to you? He asked looking from me to Angela to Mrs Collins

. She's my daughter Mrs Collins answered quickly and she's there sister she said now pointing at us. Okay since you're all family come to my office. We followed him and sat down. The surgery is done and thank God she's out of danger. she needs to rest so I suggest you see her tomorrow once she wakes up. 

Was it an accident? He asked looking at Mrs Collins. We think it was an intentional murder so please we ask for strong security details and no one must come to visit her besides us. Mrs Collins said. Is she a criminal or does she have enemie he asked. Listen here doctor your work is to protect my daughter until she's out of your hospital and not ask questions she said raising her voice more than she intended.

We left the hospital everyone lost up in thought.

Sam arrived at the hotel but not before calling his friend RONALD. Ronnie comes from a very wealth family since his father is a minister of foreign affairs and his mother is an Ambassador of the USA. They have been friends since childhood but Ronnie left at twelve years to continue his studies in America and he got back Two months back. They met and continued there friendship and since he has many connections, Sam thought he might help in one way or the other.

They asked for the security footages and were denied at first but later granted access since Ronnie knew the manager. One of the security guards was bribed but they couldn't see the face of the other man.The way he was standing and covering his head with a hood means he knew where the camera was. They moved out of the CTV room and informed the manager about the new development but asked him to not engage the police. 

Ronnie called some of his men to standby and they lured the same security man away from where the cameras were before they kidnapped him and zoomed off.

He opened his eyes to see himself lying on cold cemented floor in a small dark room not bigger than a toilet. He tried moving but his hands were tied plus his legs. He tried to call for help but realised his mouth was taped. He moved like a snake on his belly and used his head to bang on the iron door. Just then he had steps approaching and the door opened. Two men in black from head to toes stood before him. Nothing was visible on them since they had black glasses to cover their eyes which were not covered by the masks. 

One bent down and removed the tape from his mouth.

. What do you want from me and who are you? He asked as soon as the tape was removed from his mouth. 

Not so fast replied one of the guys. So tell us what we want to know. Who is the man that bribed you into letting the goons in? No one bribed me and for your own information just let me if you want to stay alive he said. He didn't know the people he was joking with, he didn't know he was dealing with fire. One of the guys kicked him in the place where the sun doesn't shine and he groaned in pain. A another guy brought out a hand knife and stabbed him hard in the leg and he screamed. His called Mark he screamed as blood was now gushing out of his leg and tears rolling down his face. You brought this upon yourself one of the guys said before spitting on him. Now I think its better you go face your boss. He said before injecting him some liquid on the neck and he fell asleep. They removed their masks to reveal Sam and Ronnie as they left to their car with the guy in the back seat.
