Bolanle entered the bathroom and took a shower. She felt the warmness of the water and cuddled her body. After she was done, she cleaned her body with towel. She hung the towel around her neck, she entered her room to get dressed. She wore a navy blue tight fitted jeans trouser, and a white T-shirt. She entered her office, went to her desk and skimmed through the files scattered on the table. She carefully arranged them, came out of the office and locked the door.

"Take care of the house . I will be back sooner. I have something I'm working on", Bolanle said to her maidservant.

"Good bye, Ma", she said. Bolanle entered her car and Adamu the gate man in his overflowing long dress, opened the gate and waved at her, as she drove off..

"Bye, Bye, Madam", Adamu said in his heavy hausa accent. "Kai! This Madam can drive fast", he regurgitated as he couldn't see the back of the car again after a long stare.

Bolanle got on with her assignment for the day, which was going to Sheila's apartment and getting some information from the gateman. She turned her Google map on which served as a guide till she got to the destination. Throughout the journey, she was listening to Simi's songs

. She loved listening to Simi because it gave her right chills. She could totally relate to her.

She looked at the street signpost she diverted to, and it marched the one Dominique gave to her. She got to the gate, stepped down from her car and knocked.

"Who is that?", the gateman asked.

"It's somebody" Bolanle replied. The gateman came out from his room and opened the small gate.

"Hello, how can I help? And who have come to see?", he asked.

"Good day, can you allow me in?". Bolanle said with a light smile. Her dimples glistened, bringing out the natural beauty in her that shone like a star.

"Yes, come in", the gateman said. He had a singlet and short on.

"Do you know a resident called Sheila here?",Bolanle said.

"Such a nice Lady with beautiful friends but one is very rude. Chai!", the gateman said. Bolanle had put her phone's sound recorder on..

"You are such a nice fellow", Bolanle rubbed the back of the gateman as she drew close. Bolanle pointed at the one room apartment adjacent to the little gate.

"Is that your room?", she asked.

"Yes", he replied with a huge uncanny smile. She smirked. She knew the gateman was thinking she is getting attracted to him.

"Well, can we go in?", she asked.

"Okay, no problem", he said. Inside the room was a television with a long antenna sitting on an old table. The wall was half black and its normal colour. The blackness was from constant smoking which was caused by a stove. A long sofa which served as a bed and a long wooden stool with no resting back laid opposite to each other. Items and clothes were littered everywhere, and the room had a smelly coarse odour. Bolanle stared at the room in a clockwise direction, and then a hanging wall clock smiled at her. It read 3:30PM.

"You like my room?. You can sit down", he retorted all at once.

"Yes, I do", Bolanle replied and made to sit at the long chair.

"No!, No!!, No!!!", he shouted. He continued, "you can sit on my sofa. It serves as my bed too. I'm letting you.   sit there because you are very special".

"Oh, wow!", Bolanle said slowly. She stared at the sofa, it looked sticky.

. The yellow colour had changed to black. A side on the upper handle still retained its original colour.

"Thank you, but I think I will be okay sitting on the chair", Bolanle said.

"Okay", he let out an uncanny smile again. Bolanle moved and sat down on the chair and crossed her legs. He moved from the door side he was standing and sat on the sofa. Bolanle had put off her sound recorder till she was about to record another one.

"Well, I'm Bolanle, what's your name?", she asked.

"I am Wale" he said.

"I thought as......" Before Bolanle could complete her sentence, Wale blurted out, "you like me abi?". Bolanle was shocked but she had to play along. Since the guy was hitting on her and thought it's mutual, she needs to capitalise on it.

"Yes, I do", Bolanle said. Just then a car honked and Wale scurried to open the gate. Bolanle stood close to the window and looked. It was three girls that came down from their cars. Immediately, Wale came back to the room.
