Pierced Rose - Episode 52

 

The brass band was performing Reginah's favourite song which was perfect by Ed Sheeran.. They even had  incorporated her name in the lyrics....

Reginah's couldn't believe it. For once her life seemed interesting than the fairy tales... Finally she had found the one, the one who always took her breath away. The one whose kisses and touches were electric.

Her eyes were filled with tears. Not tears of pain but rainbow of tears.. Tears filled with love...

She was busy dancing to the song when she turned to see Brad on his one knee.
"Reginah Mumbi would you be my girlfriend???"
Reginah thou perplexed went on her knees and kissed him.
"Yes, Brad Muigai. I will be your girlfriend.."

Brad couldn't help but feel happy.. A tear dripped down shirt but he didn't care...
"Thank you,'He whispered, sliding the ring in her finger...

Reginah couldn't believe her eyes it was a Luna seven stone diamond ring and it was worth more than one million...
"But Brad, this is expensive.."
"And you are priceless..." Brad kissed her and they were so lost in the moment when Kara interrupted them, "Guys, you gonna hurt your knees. Get up from the floor.."

She helped Reginah up as Brad stood on his own..
"Welcome to the family Reginah.." Kara hugged her.
"Thanks mom or do I call you mother in law???" Reginah teased.
"I prefer mom.." Kara replied cupping her face," Thank you so much... Thank you dear.." Tears fell down her cheeks.
"I will be here, always.." Reginah wiped away the tears from Kara's face..

"Enough with the mother- daughter drama.. We need to celebrate.." Mr Muigai suggested walking towards them.
"Welcome to our family dear," Mr Muigai hugged her. Although she felt weird she had the composure in her to remain calm..

The congratulations they were receiving,  you would have thought they were newly weds..
"I am happy for you sis," Patience jumped excitedly looking at the ring.
"Thanks dear.."

They danced and sang their hearts out. It was fun for Brad to see his family happy.  He was happy that his father and brother were there. Brad allowed Reginah to have only few drinks because he didn't want her causing drama...

In the car, on their way back home Reginah was lost in thoughts...

"Baby, do you know it was mom's idea to propose to you???" Brad twinkled.
"That's nice of her.." Reginah replied dryly.
"Are you okay???" Brad rubbed her knee and she nodded unbothered.
"I love how you and mom are getting along..."
"Okay.." Reginah murmured..

She was stressed.. Reginah felt guilty that she had to hide the truth about his father from him.. She wanted no secrets between them but she also promised Mrs Kara to keep her mouth shut...
There was no much she could do but be there for Brad when he found out the truth...

"Baby we are here," Brad said when they got at the parking lot..
"Baby!!!" He shook her bringing her back to reality..

"Baby are you okay???"
Reginah cupped his face, "Thank you for everything. Always know that I will always be here for you whenever you need me.. Because I love you so much.." Reginah sobbed.

"Ssshhh!!! Don't cry. I want you to be happy because I have a surprise for you..". Brad stated wiping her tears away," And don't ask what it is because I won't tell you.."

Reginah shrugged while Brad carried her into his arms.. When they arrived at the door, he blindfolded her...

"Brad, what's happening???"
"Brad please tell me what's going on???"

But Brad just led her in.. When the blindfold was taken from her eyes she couldn't believe her eyes...

There were rose petals everywhere...On the table there was a love note, a bunch of keys and bouquet of roses..

"Reginah, thank you for making me the happiest guy alive.." Brad said handing her the flowers, "I love you so much.."

"I love you too.." Reginah managed to say between sobs.. She couldn't believe it.. The banner on the wall written 'i love you Reginah', the dim lighting from the low power lamps it was amazing..

She took the note from the table and read it.. Those were the sweetest words she had ever heard..

I want you to be my present, future and forever because my life would suck without you..

One tear after the other begun to drip from her eyes.. What had she done to deserve such a loving  guy??? She had no idea...

She was busy crying over the note when Brad shook the keys on her face..
"This is for you.."
"What are they for??" Reginah asked surprised.
"The bike we rode the other day was a gift from me to..."

Before Brad could finish his statement, Reginah jumped on him..
"Thank you baby, I have always wanted to own a bike...Thank you.." She cried on his shoulders.
"I love you Reginah, never forget that..."

"And what about the other ring???"
"Just consider it a gift.."
"I love you," Reginah pulled him by the collar nearer and kissed him... She felt like she wanted more that night.

After the shower, Reginah found the room different.
The sheets were white in colour, the room was dark under the light  of aromatic candles.. There was soothing background music and also the red petals were everywhere..

The light from the candles enticed a romantic mood. She looked around for Brad but couldn't see him..

Suddenly she felt hands on her thighs pulling up the robe loose just above her knees. She couldn't move even if she tried..

"I wanna make love to you.." Brad whispered in her ear and she nodded feeling like she was losing her breath..

She heard her robe Fall and crumble down. There she stood naked.

Brad twisted her around and he also had only a boxer on..
He lifted her up to his waist and she wrapped her legs around it..

He slowly placed her on the bed and begun kissing her.. The kisses were long and deep...He buried his head into her neck and his hands rolled over her body...

Reginah just lied there not sure what to do...She just lets his hands, lips and tongue do the job..

He begun rimming his tongue down there and licking it slowly...Reginah could feel the rise of her animal self, she wanted more...Soft mo-ns escaped her mouth as she held tightly on the sheets...

Their breaths had begun been rough and fast...He took all of her, savoured every moment..
