Wow!!, I exclaimed seeing how beautiful my aunt's house is, the compound itself is like entering heavens gate, I have never entered such a place before, I only see them in movies, I wondered why my mom never visited us or she visiting us, I was deep in thought when I heard my name.
Told, Told drop your things and join me I'm the kitchen, ok ma.

I called Tola to the kitchen, how long do you need to put down your rags, I will get your uniforms for you tommorow, I then pointed out the dishes, wash them, then make eba that will be enough for us all to eat, I said .
I am just 7years ma, I might look bigger than my age, I have never made eba in my life before , she said
Wonders shall never end, who gave this unfortunate child the audacity to talk back at me?, I said landing her a terrible slap, I give you 30minutes to finish up this house, or I will make your first night in this house misery, I said walking out.
Omotola's POV
I was speechless at my aunt's statements, the plates where so much, at least she would have pardoned me today, I held my cheeks , I have never made eba before but I watch grandpa and grandma making it, I was extra careful with it, luckily for me the eba was without seed, I dished it out and served everyone
Funke's POV
This Eba is too small for me, i said as she turned her portion of the food into her plate, don't think of making another one, drink enough water and go to bed, she said as she ate.
Tommorrow you should be awake as early as 4:00am, clean up this house and wash the clothes in the laundry basket, I will drop you at your new school , get ur uniform from your teacher have paid.

I wasn't happy that night, I was very hungry and tired, how I wish I could go back to the village, I knew I had gone from fry pan to fire
I thought of my mum too, God please bless her on time, so I won't suffer for too long
