Omotola's POV

Mercy's wedding was the bomb, it was a version big one, you need to see Mrs Jaja, Ah pepper them gang, she ordered her clothes from the US, as if, she was the one getting married.

I called my mom continuously, we had splitted her account, bcos of the way Alabi squanders the money. I promised her to come to Lagos before my wedding.

Three months to my wedding, I was with Josh, we where giving our his house a new look,then my  phone rang, it was a strange number, Do you think you can break things up with me and be happy, I still love you and am back to Nigeria to get you, the caller said.

Wrong number , I said . This is Barrister Omotola Benson, I  said. Am Stephanie Okoro, you are not the only one with title, am an actoress she said, i  was shocked, I sat on the sofa, immediately.

Sweetheart was wrong Josh asked, Stepfather called, you remember her, yes the one from your secondary school, he said. Yes, I explained to him all she said on phone to him, am scared she might do something stupid.

Joseph's POV

Mom called me to her shop that afternoon, you have to cancel that wedding, she saod angrily.

But mom why??, I can't, I love her !!, am your mother, and you must obey me, I thought you liked her, not anymore, she is a deceiver, a liar,  She is a l*sbian.  Oops mom, that was her past I said, is that what she told you. Her partner was here this morning to buy asoebi for their wedding

Oh you are calling me a liar, she screay, mummy please calm down, she showed me her pictures and the video of them talking about the wedding.

Mom please calm down, God himself told me everything about this girl, you know God is not an author of confusion. Josh, I have said my own, God didn't show you this girl, you where imagining things. 

Mom, I have to go, I said walking out, I was confused, I thought of the video she showed mom , and mom showed me, how come Omotola pretendef as if she just called her, God please I need your help.

Something kept telling me, it wasn't through, so I called Mercy to inform her about the latest,  Tola can't have anything to do with Stephanie, she must be blackmailing her, pls talk to Mom, I really love Tola, I can't call off this wedding.

Omotola's POV

My mum called me that afternoon that my stepfather and her had an argument, he battered her and threw her out, she was in the hospital, i told her, I will join her soon.

I tried calling Joseph, but he has picking my calls, Mrs Jaja walked in , as I was calling Mercy, I cut the call, good evening ma, keep that deceitful greetings to yourself, she replied, I have never seen her this angry before. 

You this demon possessed child, I never knew you where this evil, I told Joseph to call of the wedding, Mercy's call came in, I immediately cut it, pick it, is it not your l*sbian partner that is calling you. Mom is not what you think, there is more to this.

I have heard enough, you even planned to marry her, the same day with my son, shame on you, I don't want to see you around my son against, she said walking out.

I called Mercy back, don't worry Omotola, all will be well, thanks, don't forget to plant a camera in the house as soon as you get a chance there. Ok thanks. Pls tell Josh, his numbers are unreachable.

I got to Lagos 7pm that day, I went straight to the clinic, bruises all over her body, I was so angry, why did he beat you, he converted the names on the property to someone else's name, I wasn't really able to see the names, before he dragged them from me, and battered me, he said I was passing my boundaries. I am so confused right now. She said

Tola calm down my mom said, we need to beg him and get back to the house, so we can strategize our plans and get my babies , mom said.

I had to put my issues aside and help my mom, she was discharged the next day, we went to the house, we saw Asake coming out of his room with wrappers, why are you dressed like this, mom asked.

Nothing ma, we begged and begged Alabi then he Finally agreed, I planted the camera and connected it to my phone, I left that evening, I had to Lodge in an hotel to avoid story that touches.

I got to the hotel room, I cried while praying, God you have taken me too far to leave me halfway, am already in love with Joseph, I don't know where to start from, if he calls off the wedding, you know I had not communicated with Stephanie since she was expelled, you know how I have tried so hard to stop this act of lesbianism, I cried. 

I cleaned my eyes, I couldn't sleep all night, I kept on crying ,I started scrolling through my phone, I saw my last preaching as the president of RCF , I decided to post it on Facebook, two days later, I had lots of comments on FB, Some people gave their life to Christ online, I felt so relieved, I also got some important secret via the camera, I sent them to Mercy immediately,  Joseph has not called me I was worried a little, but I decide to let it be, Let God will be done

My boss was already calling me, there are lots of work to do here in Lagos, make sure you don't exceed two weeks he said. I got a news that Lola put to bed a bouncing baby boy,  I congratulated her. 

Joseph's POV

I was really missing Omotola, I didn't call her because I wanted to sort things out , Daddy wasn't an issue, especially when Mercy said she is a changed person, he kind of have trust in Mercy, he said, she doesn't just have friends, she selects and discern the kind of person they are before having anything to do with them.

But Mom on the other hand was proving stubborn,  I decided to go on fasting and prayers , so I didn't pick any calls, when I was done, I had 20missed call, three fromTola, five from Mercy,ten from Mom and two from Dad

I hope all is well, I said dialing my dad's number, I know if anything is wrong, he is the best person to hear it from.
