Who I am
TOLA'S POV
I am Omotola Benson by name, I was born in 1989 in Port Harcourt, I never met my father, I was told he travelled for a business trip and never returned, my mom (Bunmi Benson)was pregnant before he left.
Mum and I stayed in a bedroom apartment for two years before relocated to mum's Village, she could not afford the rent, Landlord could no longer bear it again, we where sent out.
Mom cried almost all the time, I wished I could grow up immediately, so I could relief her of this burden.
BUNMI'S POV
I was engaged to Joseph Benson, we where planning. Get married before this business offer came and since then he hasn't return.
I stayed 2 years in a bedroom apartment before my landlord chassed me out, I didn't blame him, he has really tried, for this two years I begged for food from my neighbors at times me and my daughter go to bed without food.
I am not a lazy woman, I tried looking for job, but to no avail, my husband to be stopped me from working months before he disappeared. I thought of business, there was no money to start, I got fed up after mummy Nora insulted me for not paying the #500, I owed her, my landlord paid it, he has been making advences towards me, I refused, how on Earth will I marry a 65 years old man, am just 26, he waited for 2years before sending me out of his house..
I called my big sister, she bluntly refused to help me , my elder brother after so much begging sent me The fare to go to the village . I had no other options than to go back to my source, I don't even know my fiance's Family.
