We walked tiredly into our room looking very pale and hungry because of the days project and school work. The lecture was marathon, with our final exams few weeks from now all the lecturers were trying to speed up the lectures, as if school is just starting.
We sprawled lazily on the bed, I looked at Lizzy expecting her to go and warm our food for us to eat but she was busy pressing her phone seriously with expressionless face.
I decided to enter into the kitchen and cook because I was damm hungry. I entered into the kitchen, after about thirty minutes, i came out with a steaming hot plate of fried rice wondering if to wake up Lizzy  who is already sprawled on the bed sleeping.
"Sleepy head wake up let's eat" I said kicking Lizzy's leg.

Read " Lydia's heart " by the same author ( Celestina Oranye )

. Lizzy grumbled and lazily opened her eyes but in sighting the food which fortunately is her best food especially when hot.
"OMG!! Chy you are a sweet heart" was all she could say before diving into the food not even caring to say thank you or know if i am eating with her.
"Hhhmmm, this is sweet. I swear my brother must marry you

. I cannot miss this food biko" Lizzy complimented looking at me smiling and pouting her mouth. I can't help but smile back to my best friend, sister and roommate all in one but sometimes I wonder why I cannot trust her with my past.
We were still eating when Lizzy's phone beamed with light showing that a message just came in. She slid the phone open, read the message with a stony face not without continually stealing a glance at me but I presented not seeing while I eating my food quietly.
She took another spoonful, stood up and told me that her project partner needs her attention now.
I just shrugged because I  knows how serious her project partner can be but disturbing her just immediately they came back from school is out of place.
"don't worry, I will be fine" I replied before I heard the door close showing that Lizzy is gone
I picked up the empty plate and tossed it to the kitchen, lied down on my bed to listen to my favorite music " Smile for me by Simi" that was the music me and Sam used to love very well.
I closed my eyes not wanting the pain of the past to come flooding again. "I have to be brave" I consoles myself
I selected the music for it to start afresh, lost in my song because it makes me feel better sometimes.
I heard a knock on the door, thinking it was Lizzy but wondering why she came back early shouted "the door is open, come in" without covering myself with wrapper.
I closed my eyes again flowing with the lyrics of the music expecting Lizzy to talk but when no voice came forth, i opened my eyes and was shocked to see who was standing in my room, smiling mischievously towards me . I closed my eyes and opened them again, pinched myself to make sure that I am not dreaming but it pained me very well. With mouth wide open and heart in my mouth I looked at my visitor with fear written all over my face. I kept quiet waiting for him to speak first.
"So we meet again" said the visitor

*

Ouch, my hands pains. I have to stop biko  let me know who the visitor that interrupted our quiet moment is. Who do you think the visitor is?
