My Past My Future - Episode 5
The atmosphere and the surrounding are all calm, cool and quiet. So is our room as I narrate my past to Lizzy. My face was daunted with tears, my brown big eyes red from too much crying.
Lizzy looked at me with concern written all over her face looking like she will breakdown any time soon, tried to be brave cus of me and gave me a warm hug that she knows soothes me no matter my mood or condition.
She stroked my back like a mother does to a child still surprised at how I survived with the scar all these years while she that just heard it feels like fainting.
"Promise me that you will not tell your brother, I don't want him to start looking at me with pity and that's what I hate most" I pleaded looking at my bestie with my puppy eyes.
"Don't worry, I will not tell him" she promised me still engulfed in a hug with me.
Seeing that am relieved, she motioned me to come and eat glad that she made me forget my momentary sadness.
She pinched me with smile on her face as she looked at me to make sure that am okay.
"Arrrgghhhh, I shouted "is that what I get from confiding in you" I said admist laughing dodging more pinches from Lizzy.
"Yes! Yes!! Yes!! At last I got that glow" Lizzy shouted sticking out her tongue playfully and ran away to the kitchen.

"Check who is at the door biko" She shouted from the kitchen which made me to jump up from the bed where I was sleeping.
"Ok mah, i answered as I sleep walked to the door. I opened it and was stunned with what I saw, I rubbed sleep off my eyes as there stood Frank looking all handsome with a banquet smiling lovingly towards me.
I can't help but notice the extra care he took in dolling himself up, the creamy hair, loving eyes

God did I just admit that, I slapped myself out of the thoughts coma but was still lost in thoughts looking at him.
"Cutie pie, please don't undress me with your eyes. Open the door for me to enter first" He complained still smiling knowing the effect his smile have on me.
"Oh come in" I said opening the door wide open for him to enter
"Lizzy, you brother is here" I shouted to alert Lizzy of her brothers presence
Chioma's POV
His eyes were focused steadily on me which made me to shift uncomfortably on my bed, throughout his stay even during our conversation he continued making eye contact with me and those his cute face and lips are so tempting that I felt like running my hands through his hair but no, am done with guys especially hot ones like Sam not even my bestie's brother can make me cut my standard.
I am going to show him that am not so cheap to get with only flowers but I admit, the flowers are soft, beautiful and warm to the hands. I thought as I run my hands through the petals.
I raised my face with a stern look and locked eyes with Frank. I can see the shock written on his face because of the stern look.
I smiled satisfied that he got my warning
