CHIOMA'S POV
"Sam, please forgive me. Don't rape me okay. I promise I will stay out of your life and out of your music industry forever".
I struggled as i begged my one time sweet heart whom I rose to top with. I cried much more struggling with all my strength yet he ignored my pleas and penetrated into me with force........
I shouted and jolted back to reality with sweats all over my face, i saw my roommate Lizzy looking at me with concern .

"What's wrong dear, you just shouted and woke up with sweats all over you
. Is it a dream?
Yea it's just a dream, don't worry am fine. This is a secret life that i wouldn't want Lizzy to know about me.
I hate men, I hate music which brought all this misery on me. I wish I can turn back the hands of time so that I will change many things, I wish I never trusted him in the first place.
Avoiding any other questions from Lizzy, I got up from my bed and went straight to the bathroom to take my bath and prepare for school.
LIZZY'S POV
Lizzy looked at her roommate with worry on her face "Chioma is a sweet girl you will love to spend hours with but this her constant nightmare that always change her mood every morning is what she doesn't understand, and she refuses to talk about it" Lord please I entrust her into your hands. This is our final year and I hope we graduate in peace.
By 8:00am, we are ready for school and trudged slowly together to school because we don't normally bike to school only when we are running late for lectures or tired when coming back.
On our way to school, Chioma was still quiet and I am uncomfortable with the quietness

. I tried raising a topic to converse but she just kept mute which gave me a sign that she is really in a big trouble because the roommate I know never ignores any of my gist because am always on point. I gave up trying to bring up a conversation when I saw a black hood car moving towards Chioma to jamm her, acting out of impulse I dragged her out of the way and the hillux car drove past with speed only for both of us to be looking at the car until it is out of sight, each thinking what could have brought that kind of action.
CHIOMA'S POV
We were walking to school in silence because that is what my body needs. Lizzy tried bringing up many things to discuss but am totally out of this world with thoughts about the constant dream in my mind.
Lizzy touched me but that is never going to bring me back and was glad when I found out she has giving up trying to start a conversation.
Out of stressed mind, I never noticed the hillux black car moving towards me with speed but it was as if i am rooted to one spot, i couldn't move or think, Lizzy pushed me out of the way looking at me with concerned face as both of us stood there transfixed looking at the hillux as it drove away.
I had in mind who that might be "maybe they are fulfilling their promise of finding me no matter where I hide" but I had no intention of sharing it with Lizzy. It is better she remain in the dark about this and be out of danger instead of her knowing and trying to help me and put herself in danger. We stood there for about ten minutes before recovering from the shock. Lizzy held my hand as if protecting me as we walk in total silence to our school gate hoping we are not late for lectures and can understand anything the lecturer says.
