I sighed when I looked around and noticed that we are at the club already
I was really tired because of the days work but am determined to enjoy this night.
"I can't believe you just slept off over this twenty minutes drive"
"Look at me let me make sure your makeup is still in order"
She ordered like a mother hen #lol#
After what seemed like forever, we were ready and matched like princesses into the club.
Inside the club is dimly lighted, it is almost filled to the brim with people and a very hot song blasting from the speaker.
My bestie began to twerk already
She motioned me to dance with her but I refused
Looking around I found one empty seat at the end
I walked straight to it and sat down so that my eyes can adjust to the surrounding
Guys clouded round Lizzy, dancing with her
I wondered how she can adapt with so many guys around her
"Besides to night is my birthday eve but she is the one enjoying herself" I thought with resignation
"Can I buy you a drink"
I looked up and saw a definition of handsome beauty #lol#
He dressed perfectly like a gentle man which got me wondering if he actually knew that he is going to a club.
"No thank you"
"Oh come on don't tell me that. You are here alone and I will not be a gentleman drinking alone when there is a beauty that God gave me"
He insisted and winked at me
I wanted to tell him off rudely when Lizzy interrupted us with her shout
"Right timing" I thought to myself

And she dragged me to a group of boys and girls

"Friends meet my bestie, her name is Chioma and she is SINGLE" emphasizing very well on the single
"Tomorrow is her birthday and I brought her here to celebrate her birthday eve"

I looked at the faces of the friends and once again I saw the stranger that I was discussing with earlier
I frowned towards him and turned my back on him
I smiled to the friends Lizzy introduced me to
They all hugged me one after the other congratulating me
The DJ played a birthday song after which I cut my cake and I knew it's Lizzy's handwork cus she adapts very well to her immediate environment
He later changed it to SOCO by Starboy which happens to be me and Lizzy's best beat.
I smiled to myself knowing that Lizzy also planned that.
"How much more can this girl surprise me, she even baked cake for me" I thought to myself half smiling
We danced to our satisfaction, I really enjoyed my birthday eve.
Admist the cheers, dancing and celebration I became drunk because of too much intake of alcohol that Lizzy forced me to drink with an excuse that its my birthday
I looked around but couldn't find Lizzy, I staggered to a seat near me and sat down for my head to clear because it hurts badly.
I wanted to bring out my phone to call Lizzy but my eyes aren't obedient.
I waited for some minutes before trying again.
I was searching frantically in my bag looking for my phone to call Lizzy, when I heard his voice
"So we meet again"
I looked up trying to place the face when he sat down comfortably beside me.
