....finally, I reluctantly got up to open the door only to meet Ifeanyi, Ifeanyi was the one that taught me the game of catching "meat and fishes" . He is naturally gifted in everything, talk about sports he was there. academic, religion etc but notorious in the act of catching "fishes". I opened the door and went back straight to my bed . Being a bad guy I have always known him to be, he instantly predicted what I was going through. "guy e be like say you made midnight calls this one you're still in bed by almost 9am" he said. I chuckled and continued with my meditation. he repeated same thing again and I told him guy I'm very weak this morning. he went straight and switched on my television and started watching Deliverance by Yanni. while the song was playing, my mood changed and I decided to share my present conditions with him.
Guy, I have serious problem now I said. ok he replied. I gave him the summary of all the happenings between Christy and I. trusting in his ability to offer solutions in case like this. he laughed briefly and started giving me clues and ways to catch Christy. he encouraged me and said Christy is already mine that she was only testing me to see how serious I was . like a prophetic word, Christy flashed and my face was beaming with smiles

. Instantly, I called back and she said she was only checking on me. After the call, Ifeanyi told me I should just relax that the girl has fallen in love already but she's only taking her time.

24th of December, Christy called very early in the morning to inform me that she is traveling with her family to their village for Christmas festivity which I grudgingly told her that we will be in touch via phone calls. while she was in the village, it seemed the love race has changed barton in the sense that she does much of the calling and I was like God let this love materialise. thinking that she will give approval to my request because of the sudden change, I reminded her what I have been telling her and she replied instantly that she doesn't have any answer yet till she comes back from the village.
4th of January, 2013, I got a useless text message from NYSC zonal inspector that clearance for the month of January would be on 7th of January. what a total change of plans? we have agreed to meet for the first time since we met at Obollo properly to put finishing touches to our relationship take off.
I called immediately to intimate her of the latest development, she told me no problem that we can still see some other time. I was contemplating going to the hospital to obtain a medical report that I wasn't feeling too fine so that I will be able to meet with Christy but thanks to Leslie who called to inform me that he was ready to go back on 6th. Leslie was my lodge mate during the service year. he was gifted in giving advice to people in their time of need. little did I know that Christy would be going back to Gombe to continue with her studies after the Christmas break. she later called me when I have gone back to inform me of her going back. we kept talking and Leslie helped in smoothing my runs, persuading Christy to submission. Christy later accepted my request but this time on phone and not one on one as she had planned.
the next stage was making the relationship stronger after almost two months of "chasing" Christy. we were talking on phone almost every minute and Facebook chat also helped to bridge the gap between our distant relationship. we started making plans to....
