The Battle
The Ominas appeared everywhere on the plains and in the trees as soon as darkness enveloped the sky. The scouts came back one by one and gave reports. After he had gotten sufficient reports, Ed gave the order to go inside the forest in the agreed upon formation.
The thing about the Nogue forest is that looking at it from outside, it looked like a normal forest but the moment they ventured inside, there was a whole new look. You could see castles, some actually looked like an edifice fit for a king, some were normal and others were too magnificent for anything they have ever seen before and of course there were Ominas guarding everywhere
. The standing order was not to engage but to defend if attacked... "Look for evidence of the light", Ed had said, "for where the light is, is where the sorcerer would be found". So they sort for the light until they encompassed the castle in the middle of the forest. Then the voices began.
"Mallak, mallak come to me... Be with me". It sang in a lilting voice that came as a caress to the face and a pull on the chest.
A lot dropped their swords at the compelling sound and their mates tried to hold them back. The ensuing commotion drew the attention of the Ominas and the hacking and claving began

. Under the cover of this, Ed, Jason and Ines infiltrated the castle of light and with a lot of hacking and claving located the hiding place of the sorcerer.
At first he made himself invincible but Edward who had spiritual eyes discerned that he was in there. Edward struck him and his invisibily cloak fell off. The room was plain so there was no where to hide and that's how it was that the sorcerer tried to disappear but Edward still held on to him and they were both carried away.
In that new realm, he discovered that they were in the same room but here a lot of things were visible. The symbol of ifra could be seen conspicuously in the middle of the front wall. The sorcerer who was masked tried everything to match the strength of Edward to no avail. Edward was able to subdue the sorcerer and unmask him. It wasn't Kaku he saw, rather it was Mithras the son of the chief priest. Stunned, Edward who knew the young man well tried to grasp what he was seeing but had no time as Mithras ran away in a bid to escape. Edward, in one stroke of his sword destroyed the projected symbol of ifra on the wall and the big ball of light rose from where it was chained and guided the way for Edward to find Mithras. When Edward caught Mithras, he beat him up and knocked him to the ground. As he was about to strike the final blow... The chief priest appeared, "Stop!" He bellowed.
