Sorry for the long silence friends, am back now to continue from where I stopped and to “Ola”, I dedicate this episode to you. I don’t know you but your constant comments on my story keep me going, I can’t help but say thank you. I really appreciate.

Awwnnn, hope this is romantic enough #lol#

Now to the latest episode, lets dig in…

****************
The cold stare she gave almost made me to run back but I won’t give up.
It took me almost three weeks to muster enough courage to visit her despite the warning from my friend that it might be dangerous meddling with a married woman affair but the constant morning fight, the sad long face and the children wail never allowed me to rest.

“Yes, can I help you?”

That startled me. I forgot that I am standing in front of her door.
I presented my sweetest smile and said with a calm voice

“Please can I come in?”

She hesitated for a little before opening the door small enough for me to enter.

I looked around the house, it is very beautiful and well decorated but scattered that I couldn’t find a place to sit down.

It seems she noticed the way I looked around the house because she walked to the settee and moved the heap of cloths on it.

I smiled assuring her that it is fine.

“Please sit down” she said pointing to the small space she made and I sat down

“Oh forgive my manners, my name is Jamila . I am staying my friend living next door, Sylvia” I introduced myself hoping she will do same but she just nod her head looking at me.

There was a little silence while I continued looking around the house

. A large photograph caught my attention; it’s a photo of a happy couple. They were both laughing when the photo was taken.

“Wow, this picture is beautiful. Who are they? I asked as I walk closer to admire the picture

She just looked at me as if deciding if to answer or not at last I guess she decided to talk.

“That’s me and my husband at a friend’s wedding”

I almost choke with disbelief when I heard that.

I looked at the picture again

She smiled

“Yea that’s me”

I looked closer at the pix and reality struck me

That’s her but she looks so plump and beautiful, the complete opposite of what she is now.

Even the husband looked so handsome then but now he is so haggard and lean.

“Wow, you people looked so happy and beautiful then”

“Yes, I guess so. I was very proud to be called Mrs. Castle then but not anymore”

“This is very serious” I muttered to myself

I walked towards her and sat down beside her

“Now you don’t need to say that okay. You are and will always be Mrs. Castle” I said consoling her

She looked at me with disbelief

Yea, i understand. I have to make her trust me

I storked her back gently

"You have to trust me okay.

Read " Lydia's heart " by the same author ( Celestina Oranye )

. Am a good listener"

She sighed with a low shrug

“Not anymore. He is always threatening me with divorce saying I am too fat and careless for his liking. He no longer goes out with me like he used to do before” she said amidst tears

I hugged her

“Stop crying okay. He will never leave you okay”

“You did not go to work today” I asked

She nod her head negatively

“I am not doing anything; he refused me doing anything saying he provides enough for us”

“Since when” I asked

“Since we got married”

“But do you want to work”

“Yes, besides I am a graduate”

“Oh, I understand” I said being compassionate

I held her close listening to her complaints, making her not having the feeling of being judged

We were still talking when her two children came back from school.

Amala greeted me when she recognized me

I gave her the biscuit I came with and decided it’s time for me to leave so that she can attend to her kids

“Are you leaving already?”

“Yes I gat to run. I have something to do at home”

“Okay and thanks for today Jamila. I really appreciate”

The thought that she called my name and appreciated my coming made me smile.

I hugged her

“Please do come again” she whispered

“I will, I promise”

I stepped out of the house with relief in my heart.

“She is not as harsh as I thought”

I entered into the house with a feeling of accomplishment

Mrs. Castle POV

I smiled and continued looking at her as she stepped out of my house. She is really a good girl. I bet it is good to have someone to talk to. Someone who likes and understands you the way you are.

“I wish she comes often” I thought
“Huh” I exhaled

My heart feels light. With joy in my heart I entered the kitchen to prepare food for my kids.

How many people have you made to smile today?

No matter how strong and harsh they look there is always a soft spot inside that wants care, love, support and attention.

Just look around you and start with one person.

Thanks my people, as usual I will be more than glad to read your comments
